"Noona... noona... noona, are you okay?" I heard my brother's voice.
He was calling out for me.

I sat up slowly. "Where am I?" I asked him. My head throbbed in pain
and my stomach was hurting. It was like I fell.

"Noona! I'm so worried. Are you okay now? You're in your room. Why are
you asking that? Are you okay?" He said.

I'm in my room? Wasn't I in the mountains with Mika and Injun? How did
I get here? The last thing I remembered happening was that Mika closed
in and he punched my stomach. That bastard. How dare he!

"I... I'm fine, Jay. Don't need to worry. I'm just wondering how I got
home." I smiled and told him.

He sat right next to me and replied, "You don't remember at all?" I
nodded and he continued. "Well, Mika carried you home. He said he
found you on the bottom stairs in the school. You passed out. You
probably fell. That's why your stomach hurts."

"How did you know about my stomach?" I asked him. I didn't even say
that it hurt. He was silent. "Well, never mind that. Mika carried me
here?"

He nodded. "I was really worried. Good thing you’re up now."

"Is he still here?" I should at least thank him.

"He left right after he put you down on
your bed, and that was about half an hour ago." he told me.

He gave me a towel and told me to freshen up. Mom already prepared the
bath.

Before Jay left, I told him not to say anything about what happened to
mom and dad. For sure they wouldn't let me go out anymore. But, I'm
quite the rebel anyway. It's just that I don't want my parents to be
worried.

I was in the tub for a long time, thinking about a lot of things. I
stood up and looked at my stomach. There wasn't any sign of being
punched. None at all. I turned sideways and noticed a scar.

"Good thing it doesn't hurt now. I doubt this scar will even
disappear." I told myself, looking at the scar on the mirror.

"Yah! Jeon Haneul! How long are you gonna stay there? I need to use
the bathroom!" I heard my mom yell from the other side of door. I
didn't even bother answering her. I had more important things to think
about.

I wonder if Jihwan is really close with those two brothers. And I also
have this crazy feeling that he's hiding something from me. Seriously,
I just got back and something happens to me. My friends also
changed... Friends?

Oh my gosh! I totally forgot about my friend! How is she? I quickly
wrapped my towel around my body and rushed to my room. I rummaged and
took out my phone. I searched for Hara's number. I scrolled to 'H'...

"Where is her number?" I stopped. I looked at my phone screen. Did I
get her number? Does she have a phone? Aishh! This is frustrating. I
better call Niki.

"Yoboseyooo?" Niki said on the end of the line.

"Yah! It's me, Haneul! Let's meet up now. Oh wait, I'll run to your
house. I'm on my way." I hang up. I dressed into my sweat pants and a
black jacket. I grabbed my phone and went out.

I ran as fast as I could. I don't know why I'm out already. The memory
from earlier was vividly stamped in my mind. It was so clear to me.
And it was definitely Hara.

I stopped and looked around. There was an abandoned house in front of
me. I was sure that this was Niki's house. What happened? Up ahead was
another entrance to the forest. It was dark. I couldn't see anything
except for the dim light from the street lamp down the road.

I could feel a force pulling me into the forest. It was bad. I slowly
turned around. I put my hoodie back on while walking.

Splash!

"Ahh!!" I squealed a little bit. I was soaked with water.

"Haneul-noona?" a familiar voice said. It was my brother!

"Jay! What are you doing here? And what is this? I'm soaking wet, and
i just took a bath! Explain yourself!" I told him.

He was silent. "You should just go back And change. You're gonna get
sick."

And he was running with the bucket, now half-filled with water. It's
water, right? I smelled my sweater and I only smelled bath soap. I
guess, there's nothing wrong with it.

-Next day.-

"Haneul-ah, I waited for you last night. Weren't you suppose to come
to my house?" Niki came to my classroom during break.

I sighed so loudly, and I heard a soft chuckle coming from my
seatmate. I looked at him with a blank stare. I stood up and took my
friend's hand and went out the room.

I tapped my shoe on the floor. "Okay. I'm gonna get to my point. Tell
me, what is up with those Lee brothers? And how about Hara?"

She looked surprise. He inhaled and exhaled. She finally opened her
mouth, but before that, she looked around.

She moved closer and almost said it in a whisper.

"Hara's been bewitched."

From the look in her eyes, she was telling truth. And I know that.
Niki isn't the kind of girl who lies.
