You gaiiizzz... sorry for the very late update... I've been quite dealing with personal stuff lately.
Sorry for the long wait! For everyone who are confused, just wait a little bit for a few updates, you'll pretty much get what's what or what's happening in the story... ;D

"What do they want from me!"
It came out as a statement in need of answers. I paced around the room nervously, all eyes except Mika's
were on me. I didn't bother with what he was doing.
I had learned how to shut them out from my mind, to keep my thoughts to myself. It was by accident. Mika is
furious at me. He wants to know what I'm thinking. But, I couldn't let him know what I am thinking. Then, he
would know that someone else is accessing my thoughts.
I know for sure that something is after me. My body is rejecting the foreign substance that is traveling in my
system. Something dark and evil is coming, and it wants me, it wants my soul.
My body is not my own anymore. If I lose control over my body, the least I can do is protect myself, my very
own soul.
I don't want Mika to know about what's happening to me. If I do tell him, someone close to me might get hurt.
"I saw someone earlier in the woods. I saw his aura. He's not related to the vampire that attacked us. I know
that for sure. But I'm still worried. From his aura, I sensed an incredible non-supernatural power, and he might
be a threat to you."
I managed to say when the clouds of confusion cleared in my head. 'You' meant Mika's kind, I said that just to
make sure.
Mika's eyes were in dismay. He's telling me that I can't trust him enough. I looked away. "So, you're safe with
who ever that person is?"
"I didn't say that." It's the truth. I didn't say anything about that.
Mika nodded. "But the way you said it, it's as if you want to stay away from us, from me especially."
I have forgotten that he is a very powerful vampire. I didn't put it that way, but he still got what I meant, but in a
different way.
I want to stay away from him for his safety, and my family's safety. Mika's thinking too much, and now he's
thinking about it wrongly.
Hate me as much as you can. It's the only way.
"Sky!" Jay exclaimed. He too had read what I just said. "Why are you saying that?"
I shook my head. "I need to go now."
I left their house in an instant. I had no one to talk to, not even my own brother. The weekend passed by in a
blur. I wasn't excited to go to school. The people irked me for some reason.
Somewhere in me, longed for Mika. I wanted to touch his face, hug him. I felt bad about what I did the other
day.
I walked in the hallway. Other students' eyes were on me. There, I saw him. Not really, but I felt him. Because
other girls were already swirling their way to him. I just walked towards him. Without any hesitation, I hugged
him. I didn't mind the stares.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. My thoughts were in a mess. I didn't meant what I said.
"It's okay."
"Sis! I was so worried!" Jay broke us apart, then hugged me.
I smiled at him. "Silly. Come on, let's go."
Before I get killed by the girls. They hate me and wants me murdered! I said in my mind.
No, they're just envious because I'm with the most beautiful girl in town.
I looked at Mika in the eye, while Jay tugged on my shirt. "You're just saying that. Don't kid me Suhoon. I know
you've tried every girl in town. Plus, I'm not the most beautiful girl here. Nikki is, remember? The priestess, my
best friend?"
You're right. But I didn't get to her. She's a priestess, remember? She is prettier than you, but I like you more
than her.
"Watch out!" Mika yelled.
It was too late. I hit someone, well I bumped into someone and we both fell. I thought we fell, but he caught me.
"You okay?" he asked in his husky voice that sounded so familiar.
I looked up and met his eyes. He was smiling at me. "Hey! It's you! Wait, I'm sorry. I didn't see you."
"It's okay. No worries."
I managed to straighten myself and smiled. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I know you."
He smiled. "Figures. It's me, the guy that asked you for directions the other day. We also bumped into each
other."
"Oh yeah! I remember now. I didnt know you're in this school. Did you just transfer?" I asked.
"It's funny how we always bump into each other. Kind of like it's our destiny." he said.
He didn't answer my question. He's funny.
Well, I don't like him. He's not even funny. Mika said.
"What are you still doing here? Go to your classes." A teacher yelled from the end of the hallway.
I went to my seat. I was already bored. I took my book and flipped through some pages. Then, something
caught my eye. I went back a few pages, but I didn't see it anymore.
Must be my imagination.
You're already delusional early in the morning. What's up?
The crazy thing was, I literally looked up and was frightened by what I saw that I screamed.
"Sky! Hey! Wake up! Sky!"
I opened my eyes and Injun was gripping my wrist tightly while shaking me. I looked around and all eyes were
on me.
"Ms. Jeon, are you okay?" My teacher asked.
Something changed, I don't know what it is, but I'm sure of it. Instead of speaking, I replied with a nod. She
asked Hara to accompany me to the infirmary.
"Feeling any better?" Mika asked when he carried me to the clinic. I nodded and whispered thanks in reply.
He settled me on a comfortable bed in the clinic.
"Hara, let them know il'l be staying here until break time."
She then left me with Mika.
"That was great acting, Sky." Mika said.
"I was bored."
"You just want to spend time with me, don't you?" he said as his body and face got closer to mine.
I smirked. "That's one reason. But really, Suhoon, I saw something. I didn't know I even fell asleep. It was really
scary."
Go on. He said, letting me tell what really happened.
"I thought I heard my voice from somewhere. It was like I was talking to someone. But I know I wasn't. I looked
up and saw my reflection. In that reflection, I didn't have my eyes, and it was grinning at me. Blood flowed out
from..."
I folded my knees and embraced it. My fear was stronger and someone knows my weakness. But what is my
weakness? I don't have any idea as to what it is.
"When it screamed at me I thought it was going to get me. It reached out for me. I don't know what's
happening."
He was quiet for a couple of minutes. "You're keeping something from me."
I looked at him and mouthed 'sorry'.
"I understand. You're not used to this life. When I told you that day about my identity, I felt fear for the first
time. I've had several enemies that I haven't had the chance to get rid off. Until now, they're hunting me. That
vampire who we encountered recently was a pawn to test me. He knows that I found someone whom I care
about so much, and now he's trying to destroy me, by taking you away from me."
It was the first time I heard Suhoon speak that much. He was in pain, I could feel it. I blinked and saw a faint
fire that surrounded him. He wasn't himself anymore.
I took his hand and placed it on my chest, near my heart. "Can you feel that? It's beating so fast that I can
hardly breath. That's because I'm alive and you're here with me. I'm nervous, that's why. Blood's flowing in
there and I'm not gonna let anyone touch my heart, my mind, and my soul, aside from the person I truly love.
And that's a promise."
I pulled him into a hug, then he tightened it. He snuggled on my neck, then I noticed him smelling my neck, just
below my ear. His gave me a shiver that went down my spine. He then kissed it.
"You forgot to mention your body. So, who is this person that you love?" He asked. His face was inches away
from mine that I could feel his breathing. Although, I still wonder if they really are breathing.
"I don't know. But I know for sure he's not far away."
"Hmmm. Let's see about that..."
His lips traveled from the corner of my lips until I finally kissed him back. He was being careful, I noticed it. The
kiss was unexplainable, but the more unexplainable thing was I wanted more. I want it deep. I want more of
him. I didn't notice that I already pushed him on the clinic bed and I was on top of him, kissing him.
"Sky!"
Someone snapped me. Snapped, meaning someone bit me. It was Suhoon. He bit my lower lip.
"What the... Mika! Why'd you do that? It hurts!" I yelled at him.
"You didn't know what you were doing. You weren't yourself so I had to do it. It wasn't like you, Sky."
I pulled away from him and slumped back on the bed. What did I do? What was I doing in the first place? My
head hurts so much.
"You weren't yourself." He repeated.
I know. I felt it too. It was like someone was inside my head, and is controlling my body and my thinking.
"I want some..." he murmured.
"What?" I asked him, confused. He then pointed at the blood on my lower lip. "You just bit me! It freaking hurts,
and now you want some?"
"Sorry, i panicked and I just had to do it. It was the only way I could do to make you realize what you were
doing." He replied. "Don't worry, it'll heal in no time. I promise. Just let me that drop of blood on your lip. It's
driving me nuts."
I was doubting, but finally nodded. He came closer, and placed his lips against mine, then after a few seconds,
he the blood and wound.
Bang! The door slammed and someone cleared his throat. I quickly pulled away. Mika didn't even turn his head,
and was cursing in his mind.
Stop that cursing. I looked to see who was in the room. It was Hyunmin.
Wait, how did you know his name? Mika asked.
Didn't he introduce himself earlier?
Sky, he didn't get to introduce himself because you freaked out. Wait, you couldn't have read his mind, could
you? As far as I know, you are not supposed to.
I smiled at the guest then looked at Mika in the eyes. "I didn't read his mind, but I saw something, when I saw
him."
Impossible. Sky, I know you're not an ordinary human, and you know that too. Even if you're a powerful witch,
you're not supposed to see images, unless...
Unless what?
He looked at me then turned to the guy. "Do you need anything?"
"Uhh, my name's Hyunmin and I came here to get something for the head. My head started to spin when I
entered the classroom. The teacher sent me here. Sorry, if I was a disturbance." Hyunmin said.
He wasn't lying, and Mika knows that too.
Mika, unless what? I repeated my question in my mind.
"Unless he's also a witch. A different witch. Not your kind. I have a bad feeling about this. He said under his
breath so no one could hear except me.
The thing about Hyunmin still bothers me. What was he? When he entered the room and our gazes met, I saw
images of him, and he introduced himself to me. But, the odd thing as well was that it was a young boy calling
himself Hyunmin. I just knew that the guy at the door was Hyunmin. I don't understand anything.
"The nurse isn't here so I don't think you're allowed to get any meds from here." Mika told Hyunmin. "Come on
Sky, we're leaving. You're feeling better now, aren't you?"
I didn't even get to say anything, when I found myself following behind him.
Silence surrounded us in the hallway. Even our footsteps didn't make a single sound, except our minds.
You said you saw pictures earlier? Mika asked and I nodded. I think he's one of you, but different from what
you are.
For the past few days, everything became calm. Everyone worried about the upcoming exams. I, on the other
hand had nothing to worry about. I've been reading my notes and books during free time, and I understood
them perfectly. Well, I don't like studying.
I tried understanding what Mika told me and even asked my parents but they had no idea about other witches or warlocks, or whatever.
