It was currently 11:05pm and instead of getting ready for bed I was sitting on my couch being cuddled into Lay’s arms. Lay had finally gotten out of his training for the day, around 10ish, and arrived around 10:30. I knew that I should be getting ready for bed soon since I had to be up at six to get ready for school but I didn’t want to send Lay away quite yet. 

            “Lay are you busy tomorrow?” I asked as I shifted myself in Lay’s arms to try and get even closer to him.

            “Yea, we start recording tomorrow and we’ll be working on our teasers soon. There are supposed to be individual teasers as well as couple teasers. I hope I get an individual one though.”

            “I know you will. I mean you’re the best dancer in the entire group! There’s no way that they won’t give you one.” I said as I pulled away from his embrace to stare into his face.

            “You’re so biased. Of course you think I’m the best because I’m your boyfriend but, Kai is much better than me. If you think I’m good, you should see him dance.”

            “I don’t need to see him dance to know that you’re the best though.” I reiterated and Lay simply let out a small sigh.

            “Ok, ok. I’m the best. Anyway, why did you want to know if I’m busy?”

            “Well if you weren’t I was going to ask you to spend the night, but since you are I guess you should be leaving soon.” I said reluctantly. Lay immediately wrapped his arms around me again before planting a kiss on my forehead.

            “I’m not going anywhere now that you asked.”

            “But, you said you were busy.”

            “I’m never too busy for you though,” he said as he leaned in and kissed my lips.

            “Lay…I don’t want you to be tired tomorrow because you were with me. I told you that I want you to put your career first.”

            Lay let out a deep sigh before pulling away from me and standing up. “If that’s what you want then, fine. I will leave,” he said and I could tell he was upset.

            “Don’t be mad Lay. I still love you, but I know this is your dream and I want you to do the best that you can without having to worry about me all the time,” I said as I got up and wrapped my arms around him. He turned around and hugged me back.

            “I know. I’ll see you this weekend right?” He asked as he started putting his shoes on.

            “Of course!” We shared another kiss before he left my apartment. I really wanted Lay to stay with me, but I knew that his career was important and I didn’t want to be the one to hold him back. Plus, tomorrow was Friday, which meant the weekend was coming up soon and then we would be able to hang out a lot more; at least during the weekend. So I simply got ready for bed, waiting for the weekend to come.

            And it didn’t take long. Soon, it was Friday afternoon and I was running out of school to catch a bus to head to the SME building. The plan usually was that I would go there, wait for Lay to be finished with his training and then we would both go to my place and hang out on Friday’s. Unfortunately, someone was following me as I was heading to the bus stop.

            “Soohyun, what are you doing this weekend?” Geunseok asked and I sighed for what felt like the millionth time that day.

            “How many times do I have to tell you that I’m hanging out with my boyfriend hyung?”

            “All weekend? Come on, let’s hang out. I don’t have work today and I want to get to know you better, as friends of course,” he quickly added and I couldn’t help but shake my head, until a genius idea popped into my head.

            “Ok, we can hang out today. We have to go pick up my boyfriend first though,” I said with a smile on my face, figuring that he would back out. His smile did falter for a minute, but soon was back on his face.

            “Ok. All three of us can hang out. I don’t mind,” he said as he followed me onto the bus. I just couldn’t believe that he was serious. Maybe he still doesn’t believe that I have a boyfriend and thinks I’m bluffing. Well he’ll know soon enough that I’m not lying.

            We rode the bus to the SM building and made small talk along the way. When we got to the building he looked confused though. “I thought we were going to pick up your boyfriend.”

            “We are.” I said as I walked to the reception desk to sign in.

            “Here to see Lay again I see.” She said as she smiled at me. This secretary was here every Friday when I came to pick up Lay, so she was used to it.

            “Yep, noona.”

            “Oh, you brought someone else with you too.”

            “Yea…he’s just some guy that wants to date me and doesn’t believe that I have a boyfriend.” I said loud enough for Geunseok to hear. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings; I just wanted to get it through his head that we couldn’t date. The secretary gestured for him to sign in as well. As he was signing his name she spoke again.

            “Young man you should just give up. Lay can get kind of possessive with that one over there.” She said with a smile on her face. I couldn’t help but smile at what she said as I grabbed Geunseok’s arm and started dragging him away with me.

            “See you later noona!” I exclaimed before heading up the stairs to where the recording studio was. Lay had texted me to tell me that he would be there. I was so happy that Jonghyun hyung showed me around this place before, or I would get lost trying to find the studio.

            There were multiple studios, but I figured that it was the one that had the red light on to let people know someone was recording. I slowly opened the door and started to sneak in when so guy that was sitting on the couch got up and started pushing me back out the door. I tried to explain to him who I was, but he wasn’t listening. It wasn’t until Lay came out of the recording box and placed a hand on his shoulder.

            “He’s with me hyung. He’s a friend of mine.”

            The man looked at me again before turning his gaze to Lay. “You need to tell me when you’re inviting friends. Plus you know you don’t have time to hang out like that, you’re debut is approaching faster than you think.”

            “I know, I know hyung. You tell me this all the time.”

            “Well obviously you’re not listening since you keep sneaking out of the dorm in the middle of the night. I even heard you had someone over the other day. You need to stop this, we don’t need rumors spreading before you even debut.”

            “I get it hyung. Jeez, let’s just get back to recording. Soohyun, you and your friend can sit on the couch over there.” Lay said to me as he pointed to the couch that the man had been previously sitting on. Geunseok and I both went to the couch and sat, but the man brought Lay into the recording booth, closed the door and began yelling at him. At least that’s what it looked like from the outside since I couldn’t actually hear anything. Soon the man came back out and sat on the couch, right next to me. The guy sitting at the recording table gave Lay the signal and they started to record again.

            “Are you guys really dating?” Geunseok decided to ask while they were recording and I quickly shushed him as the man that was yelling at Lay gave us a hard stare. I bowed my head slightly to apologize before hitting Geunseok. What made me think that this would be a good idea?

            The recording session went on for another hour before Lay came out of the booth and walked right over to me. “Sorry that it took so long Soohyun.”

            “It’s no problem. Are you ready to go now?”

            “Ah…about that.”

            “Yixing! Stop playing around! You have dance practice now!” The same man from earlier yelled out and I looked at Lay with slightly saddened eyes.

            “Alright! I’m coming!” he yelled back before turning to me. “Soohyun I’m sorry, it’s just…”

            “No, it’s fine. I completely understand. Your career comes first. Will you come over later?” I asked hoping I would at least be able to see him tonight.

            “I’ll try, but I really have to go now. I’m really sorry though.”

            “It’s fine.” I then leaned in to give him a goodbye kiss but he simply wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug before running out of the studio. I couldn’t understand why he didn’t at least give me a kiss before he left; we always kissed each other goodbye.

            “So now what?” Geunseok spoke up again and I let out a sigh.

            “I guess we can go to my place, but don’t you try anything or I will never invite you over again.” I stated and he put his hands up as to defend himself.

            “Promise, I won’t.”

            “Good, let’s go,” I said as we left the studio; hoping that I would at least see Lay tonight.

            It didn’t take long for Geunseok and I to arrive at my apartment. Once we were there he kept his promise to not try anything as we hung out and watched TV. It was nice to have a guy friend to just talk to; well actually it was just nice to have a friend to talk to. Everything was going fine, until he said something that surprised me.

            “So…you don’t actually have a boyfriend do you?” he said during a commercial break with a smirk on his face. I looked at him like he was crazy, mouth slightly open.

            “What are you talking about? You just met him didn’t you? Plus you saw us together when you helped with the groceries that one time,” I said still confused as to why he didn’t believe me. Geunseok scooted over closer to me and I scooted away until my back hit the other end of the couch.

            “Come on, you don’t have to lie. That guy’s just your friend right? Listen, I know you might not want to date me right now, but I promise that I would treat you right if you did go out with me,” he said as he caressed my face and I quickly jumped up from the couch to get away from him.

            “Hyung! I don’t know where you got this idea from, but Lay is my boyfriend. He was simply too busy today to hang out with me.”

            “Well he sure didn’t act like he was your boyfriend. Are you sure you guys are on good terms?” He said as he relaxed back into the couch and stared at me.

            “W-What are you talking about? Our relationship is fine.”

            “I’m just saying he’s acting like I did with people that I dated just because they were desperate. He looked uninterested and almost like he wanted to get away.”

            “No he didn’t. He was just busy.”

            “Plus, he didn’t even introduce you as his boyfriend. Instead he introduced you as his friend. That’s the first clue that the person doesn’t want people to know about you. I’ve done it plenty of times.”           

            “Wow and you want me to date you? Plus, Lay is not like that and he has introduced me to s; so it’s not like he’s hiding me from anyone.”

            “Hmm…whatever you say and…” Geunseok got up from the couch and walked over to me. He looked down at me before placing his hand back on my face. “I would never treat you like that. I really like you.”

            “How can you like me if you don’t even know me?”

            “I don’t know. I mean you’re beautiful and I like talking to you. Plus, you just have this aura that seems to attract me,” he said as he slowly leaned his face closer to mine. “So now it’s just up to you to let me get to know you, personally.” He whispered out before connecting our lips.

            I don’t know why I was letting him kiss me. Why I wasn’t pushing him off like I did before, but there was just something deep inside of me that wanted me to keep kissing him and it was taking over my reasoning at the moment. Geunseok seemed to notice too, because he wrapped his other arm around my waist as he pulled my body close to his and deepened the kiss.

            Stop! You need to stop this Soohyun! My conscious screamed at me, but as Geunseok’s tongue pushed its way into my mouth I started to lose all of my rational thought.

            You have Lay! What would he do if he saw you like this?! He would be so hurt and you would be the cause of his pain!

            I know, but I can’t pull away.

            You don’t love him though! You love Lay! That was all it took, for me to remind myself that I loved Lay. So I pulled away from the kiss, breathing heavy as Geunseok rested his forehead against mine.

            “W-What was that?” I said breathlessly and Geunseok simply smiled.

            “It was a kiss and a very hot one at that,” he said as he leaned his lips in again, but this time to attach them to my neck instead of my lips. I was still dazed from the kiss, so when he started to on my pulse point, I felt my head start to spin as I let out a faint moan.

            “H-Hyung…stop,” I said as I placed my hands on his chest getting ready to push him away, but I ended up pulling him closer as he started to harder on my neck. “Ah…hyung!” I exclaimed and he pulled away from my neck; that same smile still plastered on his face.

            “So, will you go out with me Soohyun?” He asked as he lowered his hands from my back to my causing my eyes to open wide.

            “Hyung! We can’t…I can’t…I have a boyfriend!” I said as I finally started to push him away. He easily let go of me, which I was grateful for and ran a hand messily through his hair.

            “Alright. But like I said whenever you and your “boyfriend” break-up just call me. I’ll come to your side whenever you need me my little kitten,” he said before placing another kiss on my lips and leaving my apartment. Leaving me to wonder about what the hell just happened. 

It's been so long, but I've finally updated this again. It wasn't really long but I hope you guys were still satisfied with it!
