Nobody’s Pov

The wall of flames was getting higher and higher, there was no way out, they were trapped. They were trapped like lab rats inside a maze, fear slowly creeping in the girls’ veins. Another loud bang broke all glass windows, the girls ducked, only to a few pieces strike their backs, arms and even their beautiful faces. Their eyes darted everywhere, trying to find any way of getting out. Without any warning, one of the ceiling lights came crashing down towards the youngest of them.

Sarang:  “Watch Out!”

The verbal warning cause Da-young to look up where the light was coming down at a fast pace, leaving her no time to move:

In-an: “Move You, Idiot!”

Instead of moving, Da-young closed her eyes and braced herself for the impact of the light. To her surprise she only heard a loud boom, she slowly open her eyes and saw the girls looking at her, wide-eyed.

Da-young: “What? W…W…What happened?”

One of the girls pointed down, and Da-young followed her finger down to find herself standing inside the giant light:

Mi-Rin: “How did you do that?”

Da-young: “I…I don’t know”

Another extremely loud noise made the girls’ attention shift back to finding a way out. Da-young not knowing what to do, start to slowly walk through the light which made Jian grasp:

In-an: “We need to find a way out”

In-an’s leader personality started to come out as she quickly move around the room, she told the girls to check the whole room but not to get to close to the burning hot walls. Da-young still stunned was the first to move followed by Jian and Sarang:

In-an: “Why are you just standing there?”                                                                           

The question caught the girls’ attention and they turned to see the European looking girl in the middle of the room staring at her arms:

Jian: “What’s wrong?”

Mi-Rin looked up at them and back to her arms:

Mi-Rin: “My arms, they were all cut up but they are completely healed”

All of them stared at her arms but only Jian caught a glimpse of a wound slowly closing on her side:

In-an: “We will worry about that later now let’s find a way out”

They went back to what really matter, getting out. They searched for  any way to exit the hell, they were trapped in, they looked through the entire room and came up empty handed:

Sarang: “We are going to die, aren’t we?”

Her voice rang with panic which made the rest of girls flinch at the knowledge she might be right, they might die. They might die here, with knowing why they were here in the first place, with knowing their name or age or where they came from and in the company of strangers:

In-an: “We are not going to die!”

Da-young: “Yes, we are, there is no way out”

Mi-Rin: trying to sound calm “We’ll make a way out”

Da-young turned towards Mi-Rin with a confused look on her face while the rest of the girls saw determination in her eyes.

Sarang: “But there is no way out, we all looked”

Jian: “Yes, there is”

They snapped their neck to look at her:

Jian: pointing in the direction of the exit “The Door”

The Door. They turned to look at the door which was covered with flames, if any human tried to cross they would be burn in seconds:

Da-young: “Are you crazy? Are you trying to kill us?”

Jian: “No. We won’t die, please trust me”

In-an: “Fine. I’ll go first”

Jian: “And I’ll go with you”

Maybe it was just them but they both felt like they knew each other, like if they were related in some way. They both stood in front of door, staring at the flames as they stared back, they ignored the rest of the girls, took a deep breath and ran into the fire.

With a loud gasp from Da-young, they landed on the hard ashy ground, they slowly tried to control their breathing as Mi-Rin land next to them, and she looked paler with her hand on her heart. They stood and looked at the door as if waiting for the other two girls to come out:

Mi-Rin: “Why are they not coming out?”

In-an: “They are too scared”

Jian: “Girls! Can you hear me?!? Girls, you need to jump now!”

Mi-Rin and In-an turn to look at black-haired Korean girl with American features as she scream out to the other two girls, they saw the compassion in her eyes and the need to go back in there and get them. She took a step forward as if to go back inside when Da-young came sprinting out. Jian looked somewhat relief as she held her hand towards the young girl but let go as they both felt a painful shock through their hands:

Da-young: “I made it out but she didn’t want to come with me”

Jian was about to go back in there when Inan held her back and shook her head, Mi-Rin and Da-young looked at the fire-y door as Sarang made her way out with fear written all over her face. The rest of them let out a sigh as Sarang ran right pass them, they turn to look at her as she kept on running, and they looked at each other for a moment and ran after her.

Only to stop short and be greet by the water line, they stared at it as they join Sarang on the warm yet dirty sand, they gave each other one last glance before letting out a cheerful laugh as they down on the sand and allowed the water to slowly hit their feet.

Chapter 3 is up, it  has been written for about two week but I have been busy to post it. I  hope you guys like this chapter enough to comment and subscribe and another thing is that I will be gone for about two weeks so no updates until I come back. Sorry and Thank You, Have a great summer :)
