Nobody’s Pov

The dark pathway was full of fear and uncertainty; she slowly made her way, hugging herself in order to protect herself from what might come next. She could hear hush voices in the distances, they were low and far, she tried to make them out but failed to do so. In the dim lilted room, Jiyong sat next to Ji-an who looked peaceful, he was in shock along with everyone else:

Jiyong: “How?”

His soft whisper reach In-an who was standing the farest away from him, In-an felt heavy and tired, she didn’t understand why it had to be Jiyong, why she had to let him go and be with her sister:

Marie: “I don’t understand, it doesn’t make sense, you’re human and she’s a protector and….”

In-an: “And he has to save my sister, what does he need to do?”

The icy coldness in her voice made Sa-rang shake her head, she knew In-an was in pain but she was too proud to show it and looking at Jiyong’s reaction, she was hiding it well:

Marie: “We have to wait for her to wake up, Jiyong being next to her gives her strength”.

She kept on walking and walking until she spotted a small flame and a figure standing next to it, she begins to walk closer and closer until she right behind him, she could see his half blonde and half black hair as he moved his neck slowly as if very tired:

Ji-an: “Jiyong?”

He slowly turns to greet her with a smile and his eyes give out a tiny flicker of light:

Jiyong: “Ji-an, I was waiting for you”.

He put his face in his hand as he hears the glass door open and close behind him, Da-young wants to give him a hug and maybe even a little hint of hope, she better than anyone knew that Ji-an had fallen in love with him, he looked so hopeless and out of place:

Da-young: “Seunghyun?”

Seunghyun snap his head up at the sound of her sweet and delicate voice:

Seunghyun: “Da-young, its cold….go back inside”.

Da-young slowly took a seat next to him and put a hand on his shoulder:

Da-young: “Are you okay?”

Seunghyun just shrugged and looked straight ahead sighing:

Da-young: “She loves you I know it and just… we will all figure out a way and we will be happy”.

Da-young wanted to believe her own words; she wanted it so bad for them, for herself, for all of them:

Seunghyun: “I’ll try and thanks”.

Seunghyun gave her a weak smile, Da-young gave him a hug and he hugged her back, she could feel his heavy heart and heard him swallowing back a snob:

Seungri: “Sorry I guess I’m interrupting something”.

Seunghyun let go of Da-young and looked up at Seungri who looked annoyed, jealousy written in his dark eyes. Seunghyun stood up, gave Da-young a silent thank you and then told Seungri in a low whisper:

Seunghyun: “Don’t let her go, I won’t let go of Ji-an”.

Seunghyun enter the warm home leaving a confused Seungri who moved over to sit next to Da-young who wrap her cardigan around herself. Sa-rang left In-an in Nico’s room wanting her to rest and she entered the kitchen where Mi Rin was busy making tea:

Mi Rin: “Somehow something tells me that tea is good for you in times like these”.

Nicolette: “It is my mother use to always make tea for us and it made us feel a little better”.

Mi Rin offer a cup to Daesung, to Sa-rang and Nico, Sa-rang felt the warmth of the tea make its way towards her soul as his words made their way towards her heart:

Taeyang: “I’m sorry”.

Sa-rang turn to Taeyang who was standing next to Daesung and they both looked guilty and it pulled at the girls’ heart:

Daesung: “We didn’t mean to hurt you girls”.

Jensen: “But you did”.

Jensen entered the room and stood next to Sa-rang who looked tensed:

Taeyang: “That’s why we are apologizing”.

Jensen was about to answer when Sa-rang put a hand on his shoulder and shook her head:

Sa-rang: “Don’t it’s not the time”.

Mi Rin: “She’s right; I’m going to go take some tea to the others”.

As Mi Rin and Daesung exited the kitchen with cups of tea towards the living room where Seunghyun stood in the corner and Jiyong sat next to Ji-an and Marie read a book:

Mi Rin: “Tea anyone?”

The small flame gave her warmth, she gave Jiyong a glimpse and he looked at her:

Jiyong: “We are waiting”.

We, Ji-an couldn’t remember who we were, she could only stare at Jiyong and then it hit her, she was still asleep and this was all a dream:

Jiyong: “I will become your partner once you wake up and you’ll be my”.

Ji-an: “What about In-an and Seunghyun?”

Jiyong’s eyes showed a glimpse of pain and her question went unanswered:

Jiyong: “Come let’s go home”.

Ji-an let Jiyong lead the way until they were falling down fast, her eyes shot open and she fell into Jiyong’s arms, she tried to control her and he just held her as he looked at everyone in the room stopping at In-an’s face, she looked down at Ji-an who looked terrific. Seunghyun just starred at Ji-an who held Jiyong very close as if she was afraid of falling, his heart wishes it was him holding her. Everyone else was relief that Ji-an had finally woken from her sleep, tension and relief mixed together made the room’s air heavy and uncomfortable. Jiyong looked down at Ji-an and she look up at him with hazel colored eyes, a small hint of light dance in them. Their eyes were locked with each other, a bolt of electric run through Ji-an’s body and exit through her eyes onto Jiyong’s , who felt weak yet stronger than before, his eyes turned hazel for only a second. Once it was over, Jiyong looked calm and in control, he felt different like he has become another man and Ji-an looked peaceful and radiated, she felt completed. Everyone tried to quickly recover from their shocked expressions however, none of them could speak, just starred as Ji-an and Jiyong got closer to each other, just enough for their lips to almost meet.
