Foreword
I knew my easy days were over when I saw the tall boy walking into the party room. This was a nightmare, but, if I could find a way to avoid him, maybe this wouldn't be the end of me.
“Mother, I'm going to the restroom,” I whispered in my mother's ear.
“Be quick darling,” she said, “We have to greet the Choi company's son. I don't want you to miss that, if you know what I mean.”
She smirked at me her 10 000 yen worth smile (I mean it, she really spent that much on her face).
I choked inside. That was just the thing I didn't want to, and I got the feeling I would go to extremes not to have to meet the boy that was coming awfully close to where my parents and I were sitting.
I rushed to the restroom and locked myself in one of the extremely luxurious toilet stalls, which were too big and clean to be actually used, or so I thought.
I fished my phone out of my purse, an iriitating thing that always got in the way, and searched for my saviour.
“Hello, Samantha?” The smooth voice said on the other side.
“Siwon, please come and pick me up as fast as you can in front of the ladies room, let no one see you. I'll tell you the rest in the car,” I said in a low whisper and I turned off my phone before he would ask me if this was an other attempted to get away from a formal party.
A few minutes later, Siwon showed up and I started my act.
