“Argh!!!!” A girl shrieked. Suddenly a lot of girl voices could be heard. Out of curiosity Wind turned and to her terror a group of girls was chasing a guy in her direction.

Wind decided to help the poor guy and as they came running towards her and about to pass her she grabbed his arm and made him change direction in which she led him away. The screaming girls were surprised by the action and it took them a moment to also change their direction. Wind dragged the guy around a corner and stormed towards some bushes.

“Stop! We can’t run that way!” The guy said in terror. Wind chuckled and kept running towards them. As they came near she led him through the bushes and they ended up in a little ‘clearing’ with the bushes surrounding it. Wind then let go of the guy and they both fell to the floor as the guy was out of breath from running and Wind couldn’t help but laugh at him. He looked a little offended by it.

“Why are you laughing?” He asked.

“It’s just… That your face… looked so funny when… you got chased by… those girls.” Wind said between her laughs.

“Hey! It wasn’t fun!” The guy exclaimed.

“Ok! Ok! I’ll stop laughing.” Wind said as her laughs faded out. She smiled to the guy. “So what’s your name and why did all those girls chase you?” The guy looked shocked at her, which made Wind look questioning at him.

“Y-You don’t know me?” Wind shook her head. Didn’t she just say she didn’t? Or is asking for ones name not the same? 

“No” His eyes widened but a moment after he got a kind expression on his face and a smile was formed on his lips.

“I’m Aaron, nice to meet you.”

“I’m Wind, nice to meet you too, now tell me why you looked so surprised just now!?” The guy, Aaron, sighed.

“You don’t watch TV?” Wind shook her head once again.

“I don’t… I don’t really have the time to do that because of work and I don’t want to use my money on it.”

“…”

“What?” Wind asked a little annoyed when she saw the shocked expression on his face.

“I’m sorry, I’m just not used to it… I thought everyone in these days would have a TV…” Wind giggled.

“Then I guess you’ve got it all wrong,” Wind smiled and added. “Or else I’m just a bit weird.” She then looked up in the sky and took a deep breath of the fresh air before she once again shocked the poor Aaron. Or he was rather amazed that is.

Aaron was amazed by her voice. It was as if he had been a whole other place while she sang. Her voice was so soothing and harmonized. Wind turned to him with a smile on her face though her eyes looked sad. “It’s my favourite song… My mother used to sing it to me every night… It sounds a lot better when you sing it here!” Aaron jerked out of his songs.

“Used?” Wind nodded and looked up at the sky.

“Both my parents aren’t among us anymore… They’re up there looking down to me.” She raised her hand and pointed up in the sky.

“Oh, I’m sorry…” Wind chuckled.

“Well, how should you have known that?” There was silence for a moment before Aaron couldn’t help but ask.

“Why don’t you try audition?”

“I thought of that once, but since my parents died I pushed that thought away because I needed to earn money.”

“Oh… That’s bad since I think your voice is very good and I don’t think I would be the only one!” Wind looked surprised at him. She then laughed it off not wanting to get hopes on a dream she couldn’t make come true.

“I don’t think so.”

“Oh really?” Aaron said with a raised eyebrow. “And why don’t you think that?” Wind shrugged.

“I have never trained my voice…” Wind tried to find another excuse but had a hard time since a part of her was already trying to convince her she was good enough.

“So you’re scared of it? Is that it?”

“I’m not!”

“You are!”

“I’m not!”

“Fine then come to the HIM building on Friday!” Wind didn’t think so much and just wanted to prove to Aaron that he wasn’t right.

“Okay deal!” Aaron then smiled at the thought that her voice wouldn’t be wasted from now on. Now he just had to convince the CEO to let her try and sing. Just then his phone began vibrating. He looked at the caller-id before he held it up to his ear.

“Wei?... Hey!... Okay then I’ll be there in 10… Yeah… See you!” He then put it down in his pocket and looked at Wind. “Well I have to go now… Thanks for rescuing me by the way.” Wind smiled. “See you on Friday! And if you don’t come I’ll find you and make you do take the consequence!” He then went through the bushes where they had come from and soon his footsteps couldn’t be heard anymore.
