”Here’s something to drink.” Vincent said as he handed Wind a bottle of water when they got seated in the car. The driver drove of to the studio where she was going to be in a show.

“Thanks.” She said as she took he bottle and drank. These past two years had gone really fast and since the shooting accident her career had only been going up. She was more popular than what she had ever expected. Not that it bothered her… In fact she really appreciated that the fans loved her, which also made her continue.

“Oh yeah, here’s the script to the drama that the CEO have received.” Vincent said with a smile as he handed it over to her. “Read it through before you decide.” Wind nodded and looked through the pages. If she accepted it was going to be her first time acting and she didn’t know if she would be good at it…

“Thanks, I look at it again when we’re finished with the show.” Vincent nodded. Soon after they arrived at the studio and Wind followed Vincent in to get ready for the show.

“Hey, I hear you’ve been asked to join a drama?” Wind smiled as she heard his voice as she did every time.

“Yeah, though I don’t know if I should accept…”

“Why?”

“Well… I’ve never tried acting and what if I’m bad at it?” He chuckled.

“Ai Lin you’ll be great! Plus I can help you!”

“You? How will you help me?” Wind asked surprised.

“Well, if you say yes to it I’ll also do and then I’m going to be the other lead role.”

“Really!?” He laughed.

“Really! So please say yes okay?” Wind smiled.

“Okay!”

“Wind the show starts in five minutes.” One of the staff people said. Wind nodded.

“I have to go now…”

“Okay, see you later!” Wind then hung up. Vincent came over to her.

“I can guess who that was seeing your happy face.” Wind smiled.

“Oh yeah, I’ll accept the role in the drama!”

“I guess he’s one of the reasons?” Vincent said with a raised eyebrow.

“I guess you can say that.” He sighed but smiled anyway.

“See you tomorrow Vincent.” Wind said as she went out of the car and waved to Vincent as he drove off. She then went inside and to her room. She laid down on her bed and sighed.

“Why are you sighing?” Her favourite voice asked as he wrapped his arms around her. She smiled.

“Nothing…” She liked being in his arms.

“Been a tiring day?”

“A bit… Yours?”

“Nah… As usual.” Wind chuckled. “Oh yeah, I have something I want to give you!” Wind looked questioning at him as he took something up from his pocket. Her eyes widened as she realised what it was.

“Thanks for showing up to this event where we will confirm the casting list to our newest drama.” The director said into the microphone on stage. “I will now presentate our two lead roles for this drama! One is experienced and the other is a newcomer in the acting.” The journalists in front of the stage waited curiously to get to know who was going to be in the drama since different rumours had circled around it. “The leads will be Aaron Yan and Wind.” The director finally announced and the two came onto the stage.

“Wind how do you feel about acting?” One of the reporters asked. Wind smiled.

“It’ll be fun to try though I don’t know how good I will be at it but I’m glad to get the chance.”

“Aaron how do you feel acting alongside Wind?”

“It’s going to be fun and I will try my best to help her if she needs.”

“Why did you decide to cast Wind in the lead role?” A reporter asked the director. He chuckled.

“Well, I’m curious to see if she can act – which I’m pretty sure she can – and because I think they are a great pair like the fans also do.” Aaron and Wind looked for each other for a split second. As Wind wanted to take a sip of her water a reporter noticed something.

“Is that an engagement ring?” Wind didn’t know what to say as all the attention was placed on her. She looked at Aaron for help. He smiled and gave her a slight nod. She then smiled.

“Yeah it is.”

“May we know who the lucky man is?” The reporters all asked. Wind looked apologizing at the director.

“Sorry to cause such row.” She then turned to the reporters. “Maybe we should wait with that till after this event?”

“Oh please tell us! I’m just as curious as those!” The director said with a smile. Wind sighed.

“Well… He’s actually in the same room right now…” They all looked questioning around. Wind couldn’t help but chuckle when she saw Aaron’s expression. “I don’t think my fiancé is very happy about not getting any attention.” Aaron couldn’t help but smile.

“Hey!” They both laughed.

“So the rumours were true!” A reporter said. “When is your wedding going to be held and how long have you two been engaged?”

“We haven’t talked about a wedding date yet and he proposed only some days ago… Actually the same day I accepted being in this drama.”

“Does it change anything after you now know they are engaged?” A reporter asked the director.

“No, as I said before they are a great couple and I wish them all kinds of happiness in the future!” He turned to Wind and Aaron. “Congrats you two.” They both smiled in return.

“Wow, congrats you two!” Chun said when they all had gathered at the Yan household in the evening.

“Thanks!” Both Wind and Aaron said.

“I can’t believe you two kept it a secret from us!” Jiro said.

“So when do we get our wedding invitations?” Calvin asked.

“As soon as we have found the date!” Wind answered with a smile. “Which we hoped you might be able to help us find?”

“Sure!” Chun said. Mrs. Yan and Yan Mei then came in with all kinds of fruit and some cake to celebrate and then the talk about the wedding pretty much took up the whole evening.
