As they started to eat Wind couldn’t strain her curiosity and turned to Mrs. Yan who sat on the other site of the bed than Aaron.

”Please, tell me how my mother was when she was young and before she had me.” Mrs. Yan smiled as she recalled all the memories from their youth.

”We first met when we started in high school. We were in the same class and got seated beside each other. I was very shy then but your mother started talking to me right away and slowly our friendship got stronger as the days past by and we got to know each other better and better.” Mrs. Yan held a break before continuing. “Your mother was an outgoing, friendly and fun person who could talk to everyone and everyone liked her. She was very popular with the boys in school but always turned them down… She wasn’t one of those to rush into a relationship but believed in the one true love which she found in your father.”

“Really?” Wind asked in amazement. Her thoughts of her mother got even greater. Mrs. Yan nodded.

“We’re back!” Jiro said as he opened the door after knocking once or twice. Wind smiled when the three of them came in.

“You’re finally awake! We came as fast as we could!” Calvin said as he returned her smile.

“How are you feeling?” Chun asked worried.

“I’m fine.” Wind said as she giggled. The three newly arrived sat down and Mrs. Yan handed them the bag with food, which they happily took and found something to eat.

“So what did Sarah want you to do?” Aaron asked. They all sighed.

“Nothing special… She wanted us to accompany her to go shop…” Jiro said in a dissatisfied tone. “It’s not that I don’t like shopping but…”

“That woman is crazy!” Calvin continued for him. “I don’t know how many shoes she bought!” He gasped exhausted.

“At least to fill one whole store…” Jiro said. The three of them sighed once again. Aaron, Mrs. Yan and Wind all started laughing.

“Poor you!”

“Oh yeah, Vincent said that Jin-something-guy came earlier?” Chun asked as he sunk a big mouthful of his food. Aaron stopped laughing and glared at him. Wind on the other hand continued to smile as she nodded.

“Yeah he did.”

“What did he want or say?” Jiro asked curious.

“And what happened?” Calvin added as he looked over at Aaron as to see his reaction to it. Vincent had obviously told them about his jealousy and as the good friends they where they had to a bit for it.

“Well, he actually only wanted to tell me that he was sorry and that since my parents dept was paid and I was safe again he had left the loan sharks and would go to America to start on a fresh… And he wished that I would come visit him sometime and call regularly…” Wind told them.

“How long have you known that guy?” Jiro asked. Mrs. Yan couldn’t help but also be a bit amused seeing her son so jealous which she wasn’t used to see.

“He was my high school senior so I knew who he was but only got to know him after my parents died… I can’t remember how he ended up with those loan sharks but he was the one who helped me keep my cover for so long… He would alarm me every time the loan sharks would come and after I took the cover name he misguided them and would text me if they came close.”

“What is your relationship with him?” Calvin gave Jiro an elbow in the side even though everyone in the room was interested in knowing. Aaron didn’t look like he listened but he was the most attentive to what Wind was about to answer.

“He’s like an older brother to me.” Aaron mentally sighed in relief hearing that answer. Now he was just angry at himself for acting as he did earlier.

“Then you don’t have to be so jealous anyway.” Calvin whispered to Aaron with a smirk.

“Oh, and when can you go home?” Chun asked saving Aaron from Calvin’s teasing and Calvin from being hit by Aaron.

“In a couple of days but the doctor said there has to be someone at home who can make sure nothings happens…” Wind sighed. “So I guess I have to be here till the wound is healed enough…” Mrs. Yan thought for a moment before getting an idea and she turned to face Wind.

“Why don’t you stay at our house? I will be home so I can make sure nothing happens!” Wind looked surprised at her.

“But… I will bring you a lot of trouble by doing that…” Wind said still stunned by Mrs. Yan’s gesture.

“Of course you wont bring any trouble!” Mrs. Yan smiled. “I’ll be home alone anyway and it would be nice with some company.” Wind thought for a moment. It was very tempting and if she agreed she could hear more stories of her mother and Mrs. Yan as they were young.

“Hmm… Okay then, I’ll accept you offer!” She replied. Mrs. Yan couldn’t help but quickly look over at Aaron to see his expression. The three other guys did the same. What they saw was a very happy looking Aaron.

“Them that’s settled!” Mrs Yan continued. “When the doctor says good for it you can come live in our house.” Wind smiled.
