"--get it?" Tiffay nodded slowly. "Are you suure?" I said, tilting my head to look at her. She still wore a confused expression on her face.

 

"Um--"

 

"Guys! Let's go have dinner!" I heard Taeyeon say from outside our door, knocking on the door since we had the door locked just because. I mean, if she told us to 'not do anything naughty', might as well give her a reason to, right? At the beginning, we even agreed to throw in some moans. I'm pretty sure I heard a quick step, which satisfied us and prompted us to stop. "We can go to the Italian place we went to last time," she continued.

 

"Again?"

 

"Yeah! The food was good!"

 

"But last time we went, you guys forced me to buy you guys midnight snacks..." Tiffany said.

 

"It won't happen again," I told her.

 

She looked back at me. "Promise?"

 

"Yeah. Let's go; we'll continue later, I guess," I told Tiffany. She nodded and got up with me. "Hey, it's ok if you don't get it. That just means spending more time with me, right?" I told her, grinning and leaning on her as we walked out of the room.

 

She smiled and nodded excitedly. "Yeah!"

 

Taeyeon, on the other hand, frowned. "Are you guys trying to make me jealous or something?" she said as we walked out of our room.

 

"Of what? Jessi is mine," Tiffany replied, hugging me tightly. I smiled back, but internally, my heart raced. Even though I knew she meant of our relationship and not of Tiffany, I couldn't help but think that maybe, there might be a possibility of Taeyeon wanting to have me as her girlfriend.

 

She just stuck her tongue out at Tiffany and continued walking. I couldn't help but smile at the adorable sight.

 

"I bet I could steal Sica from you," Taeyeon muttered.

 

I was barely able to catch that, but that inflamed my face. "Yah! Kim Taeyeon!" I heard Tiffany yell as she released me and started to run after Taeyeon, who promptly sprinted down the stairs, laughing. I sighed. Would they ever stop fighting over me?

 

As I began to walk after them, I heard footsteps from behind me. "Hey Jessi," I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around and was greeted by a Leeteuk. I stared at him. "Did Taeyeon tell you yet?"

 

"Tell me what?" I asked, suddenly curious.

 

He sighed. "Ok, you might not believe me, but I just ask of you to listen me out, ok?" he said in a very sincere voice. I nodded, impressed by the sincerety of his voice. "Ok, thanks. I told Taeyeon to tell you because I thought you'd listen to your best friend, whom you are in love with," I stumbled a bit, but Leeteuk continued, "than a random stranger. I mean, I would expect that out of my potentially twin sister." I almost fell at this. What...what just happened?

 

Noticing my startled expression, he took a deep breath and spoke. "I noticed your friends running after each other, so let's catch up to them, shall we? I can explain on the way."

 

I nodded and headed towards the elevator, but he stopped me. "Let's take the stairs."

 

I eyed him cautiously, but decided to take his advice. After all, you should listen to your brother, I guess. Or something.

"Jessi, where were you?" Tiffany pouted, tugging my arm. I had walked up to rejoin them after Leeteuk was done telling me his story; they were waiting for me outside of our apartment building.

 

"I was ... discussing something with Leeteuk," I replied, still in a daze after what he just said. Was it true? Could I really be her? After hearing that, I suddenly felt extremely sympathetic for him. It was such a sad story, I sorta felt like crying. Actually, I'm surprised I didn't.

 

"What's wrong?" Taeyeon asked, probably noticing my teary eyes.

 

"U-Um, nothing," I replied, wiping the tears off my eyes. "It was just Leeteuk told me a sad story, that's it."

 

"C'mon, you got to be more specific than that," Tiffany said, prompting me to continuing by poking my arm.

 

"He told me not to tell anyone else but--" I looked at Taeyeon, who nodded. Tiffany noticed this interaction and frowned.

 

"What am I missing here?"

 

"I'll tell you when he gives me permission, Tiff," I told her, rubbing her back soothingly.

 

"Well get it soon," she whined to me, leaning onto me.

 

I smiled and nodded. "Don't worry, I will," I reassured her, leading her into the restaurant.

 

"Yah, can you guys stop ditching me? I feel so awkward as a third wheel," Taeyeon whined, running up next to us. We were nearly at the restaurant, since it was so close to the place we lived.

 

"Well hurry up and get together with Leeteuk," Tiffany said, teasing her and sticking out her tongue at her. I refused to let myself scowl at the idea. No matter how much I sympathized with Leeteuk, I still didn't like the idea of Taeyeon being with someone else. It was selfish of me, since I already had Tiffany, but I couldn't help it.

 

Taeyeon, on the other hand, turned red. "I-I--"

 

Tiffany laughed. "I'm just teasing you, TaeTae."

 

"But--"

 

"How about this; I'll help you get together with him," I offered her. I mean, I might as well; it would help me, as Tiffany put it, help me 'fall out of love' with her.

 

I swear I saw her eyes shine, which made up for it. "R-Really?"

 

"But first, you have to admit that you are in love with him," I concluded smugly as we entered the restaurant and got in line to be seated. I tried to ignore the roar of disapproval my heart was doing.

 

She sighed. "Fine," she finally concured, taking in a deep breath. I felt my heart begin to race as well. Why was this happening? "I--"

 

"Unnie!"

 

I jumped, but immediately recognized the voice. "Seohyun!" Tiffany greeted her excitedly.

 

She smiled and motioned for us to cut in line to join them. The people in line politely motioned for us to join her, so we thanked him and stood next to her. "Hey, what's up?"

 

"Finding a table for Yoongie and me, but you guys can join us," Seohyun told us, smiling politely.

 

"Yoong--oh, Yoona?" Tiffany asked.

 

Seohyun nodded. "Do you know her?"

 

"Yeah, we met her the other day at the place where you buy ice cream," she replied.

 

Seohyun smiled knowingly. "Of course, that shikshin." (shikshin is someone who likes to eat in Korean or something. Don't quote me on this, I'm just copying what I read from other people .-.)

 

"Ma'am, this way please."

 

We turned and followed the waittress. "So how did you meet her?"

 

"Oh, we both came and visited the college on the same day, and decided to go in the same group. After that, we exchanged contact numbers, and after we found out that we both made it here, we decided to be roommates," she explained as we thanked the waittress and sat down.

 

"Oh, how lucky," Taeyeon commented, breaking eye contact with Seohyun and looking down. I followed suit (not that I was using this oppurtunity to stare at Taeyeon or anything), opening up the bulky black, leather-bound menu.

 

"Yoongie, over here!"

 

I looked up to see Yoona grin and walk towards our table. "Hey guys," Yoona greeted us as she took her seat next to Seohyun.

 

"Tiff, what should I get?" I asked, putting my chin on my girlfriend's shoulder.

 

She rested her head on my hair. "I love how soft your hair always is, Jessi," she said happily. I smiled and looked at the menu she was holding.

 

"They're a couple now," I heard Taeyeon whisper to Seohyun and Yoona. I heard both of them make sounds of surprise. Oh no, what was I going to do about Yoona?

 

I decided to ignore that for now and continue looking through the menu with her. "So?"

 

"How about...this?" she was pointing to something that I couldn't pronounce, under the pasta section. After our remembering our previous experience with pastas, I decided to say no. "Well, we can get it and share, right?" she offered, lifting her head off mine.

 

I lifted my head as well. "Yeah, that would work," I replied.

 

"Aren't they so cute together?" Taeyeon whispered to them excitedly.

 

"Yeah, they are," I heard Yoona say. But I heard the skepticism in her voice.

 

"Taengoo, we can hear you," I told her.

 

"Wha--? Oh. Um..."

 

"Just saying."

 

"Oh."

 

We enjoyed a good meal after that.

As we were leaving, I felt a hand grip mine. Before she spoke, I already knew who she was, and was hoping I would get to avoid this. I don't know why I was so anxious, I just was. I mean, Yoona wasn't a scary person, was she?

 

"Mind if I borrow Jessica for a second?"

 

"Sure. Don't take too long though," Tiffany warned her.

 

Yoona laughed a bit. "Don't worry, I won't. Come on Jessi," she said, pulling me away from the group. Once we were seperated, she let go of my hand and looked at me. "So what happened to Taeyeon?"

 

I internally breathed a sigh of relief as her tone was very understanding. "Tiff and I decided that chasing Taeyeon was useless, since we almost got her to confess about Leeteuk today." Yoona flinched at the name slightly. I disregarded it and continued. "So in order to get over her, we decided to get together and forget about her together. We used to like each other in elementary school, anyway, so it shouldn't be all bad," I finished.

 

She nodded. "Alright. Well, if you ever need help, I'll always be there. Fighting!"

 

I nodded and did a fist pump as well. As we walked to rejoin them, I remembered something. "Oh yeah. Thanks, Yoona," I told her.

 

She smiled. "No problemo. Least I can do as another victim of my br--" she cut herself off.

 

I opened my mouth to further question her, but was interrupted by Seohyun running up to Yoona, hastily telling her something in Korean I didn't catch, and running off with a hasty apology to me.

 

Safe for now. We'll see about that next time though ... what are you hiding?

 

As I walked back to join Taeyeon and Tiffany, I saw the guy from earlier, Leeteuk's friend, talking with them. As I approached, he noticed me and turned. "So you and Tiffany are together now, huh?"

 

I looked at him cautiously. "I told him," I heard Tiffany whisper to me. I nodded. Then, I recognized his face; he was Kyuhyun, wasn't he?

 

"Yeah, we are." Then, I remembered the other day during class. "Uh, sorry I guess," I told him before realizing I shouldn't have said that out loud. Or at least not let Tiffany hear.

 

"Why sorry?" Tiffany asked. I swear I thought a dangerous edge to her voice.

 

I was debating whether or not to just run. But as usual, I decided against it. Thankfully, Kyuhyun decided to explain. "Well she agreed to help me get to know you better during class a day or two ago." Wait, how is that better?

 

"B-Because," I cut him off, quickly racking my brains. "Uh, be-cause I thought that you would appreciate me for giving you a potential boyfriend?"

 

Thankfully, Tiffany just shrugged. "Well, I'll have to get going now. Just thought I'd drop by to say hi. See you girls later!"

 

We waved back, with me wondering how he transformed so fast from the cheesy admirer to a regular, friendly guy.

 

As we walked back, thoughts about tonight clouded my brain. Now, Tiffany could me as my girlfriend. Great. Just great.
