Crowdfund | kesujo

Thanks for choosing to join my crowdfund! Keep in mind that I have a full-time job and am fully able to support myself, so please don't feel the need to financially support me. This is purely for my readers who want the perks listed on the side or for whatever reason behoves you.

I hesitated in creating a crowdfund for a long time because 1) I wasn't sure if I could provide enough value to dictate having people pay for my fanfics that I always intended (and will always intend) to be free and 2) I never had a need for the money. However, after some thinking, I figured I would create one because I know how you sometimes want some way to support the creators that you enjoy content from and also as a way to connect with my readers.

If you have the time, please take a look at this blog post:

It goes over why I upload so inconsistently now; it's an 800 word post (probably the shortest amount of words I've ever published to this website LMAO) and goes over burnout and recovering from it and what I learned in that time. If you want to join a discord to chat with me/talk with me, please let me know and I'll give you an invite link to it (for anyone reading this who isn't a part of my crowdfund, this is for you too). The server doesn't have a permanent invite link yet and is still relatively small, but I'm on discord often and will likely respond to your message really quickly. Thanks again for choosing to join my crowdfund, and hope you enjoy your stay!

Hey all, I promise I'm meeting my 300words/day quotient, it's just that I'm also writing another one-shot on top of the update for 'Soiling Mr. Innocent' Dx
Might release a poll this/next week about my update schedule, so stay tuned for that! :D

Wanted to know everyone's thoughts on my update schedule; please take a few seconds to vote on the poll!

Crowdfunding is a way for supporters to send their favorite authors tips, donations, and the necessary funding to help them continue producing great content. We set ourselves apart from other crowdfunding programs in that we do not charge extra fees (we don't need it) and our authors keep more of what they get.

This is an invite-only program for vetted authors to ensure that our members are safe in entrusting them with their sponsorship. When you purchase one of an author's tiers, you become a monthly sponsor of their work with added abilities such as access to early chapter releases or downloadable PDFs. Unsubscribing is also easy and can be done from here or through your PayPal account.

Transactions should be instant but if you don't see yourself subscribed to your chosen tier 10-20 minutes after your purchase, please send a message to the author letting them know of your subscription.

You can view your sponsorships in your Supported Works page [Profile nav=>Stories=>Crowdfunded].

A note from the founder: As the founder of Asianfanfics, I've met many wonderful writers on this site. As I've gotten to know them over the years, I've come to find that many of my friends here struggle to get by whether it be paying for school, everyday essentials, or what really gets to me, medical bills. After trying to see what could be done to help through crowdfunding, it became clear that dedicated crowdfunding platforms take out too much in fees. That's why I started this program just for authors so that they can receive the support they need without a middleman taking a chunk out of it. I wish you all luck in this and all of your other life endeavors and hope you all succeed.
