Painting
DrabblesSungmin stared at the painting attached against the wall across where Sooyoung’s bed was. It was a painting of a sunset of reds, pinks, oranges, and greys, providing the perfect background of the silhouette of a Ferris wheel. It gave him a very calming feeling, almost melancholic just like how the end of a day would normally bring. It was the only thing that had life in a room that no longer had it. He remembered the day she painted it and a frown instantly made its way to his handsome face because of the memory.
“What’s that for?”
Sooyoung turned her head from her canvass, smiling brightly at her companion. “It’s just a little reminder.”
“What would a Ferris wheel remind you of?” He asked, taking a seat on the grass beside her.
Her eyes closed as the cold breeze swept past them, revelling in the coldness before she opened her eyes to look at him. “Of how the sky looked like during the last time I got to ride the Ferris wheel with you before I die.”
