Who Will Be My Valentine?

Oh Mae Rae's Point Of View

Halfway during math I noticed Minho was staring at me.

Usually when I noticed I would look at him so he would stop, but ever since that day at the arcade something has changed.

I continued to pay attention to the teacher, but I got distracted when I started thinking about Minho again.

I have no idea how long I had been thinking about him. It only felt like it had been a few seconds.

"Mae Rae?" Minho said. His voice is so calm and relaxing.

When I didn't respond he touched my hand, "Mae Rae, are you okay?"

Just that little touch of his hand gave me goosebumps. How does he do it?

"Mae Rae, everyone is gone."

I didn't even notice him talking anymore. I couldn't concentrate when his hand was on mine.

He put his two hands on my cheeks and made me face him.

"Mae Rae?" he spoke softly.

"What? Oh sorry." I was blushing. Our faces were so close.

I grabbed my books and rushed to english, leaving a dumbfounded Minho behind.

I sat in my regular seat next to Key.

Today we had writers workshop so we could start our essays. Our teacher lets us partner up so we can have help, but everyone always talks instead of actually working.

I was with Key and as usual Key couldn't stop talking.

"So Mae Rae Valentines day is coming up! Who is going to be your valentine?! You can only pick one! I haven't found a valentine, yet. Don't worry I will find one. Do you think Taemin and Seung Ri will be valentines? I hope so! They are so cute togeather! I think-"

The bell cut Key off.

We both went our separate ways to our locker.

I opened my locker only to realize that I had no lunch or money. I guess I will just not eat lunch today.

I walked to lunch with my stomach growling.

I sat next to Minho and Seung Ri.

My stomach growled loudly.

"Mae Rae are you hungry?" Jonghyun asked, his voice full of concern.

"I don't have a lunch or money." I said.

"Here I have two dollars." He was holding out the two dollars to me.

"Thanks." i took the two dollars from his hand, and as I was taking the money I touched his hand.

I felt the same feeling I felt when Minho touched my hand.

I was sitting there. Frozen.

Thinking about what this all means.

I had just thought I had feelings for Minho, but do I also have some feelings towards Jonghyun?

Then I remembered something Key said when he was talking during english.

Who is going to be your valentine?! You can only pick one!

It was as if Key was trying to tell me something, but I did not understand what until now.

I could only have feelings for one of them. Just like I could only have one valentine.
