Jelly Beans

"Please don't kill me... please don't kill me" Yeong Hwa muttered as she stood a full arms length away from the cutting board and attempted to awkwardly peel an apple. Each time the knife would jerk even the slightest bit she would wince and quickly drop the deadly weapon, which was the reason why her bowl of already peeled apples looked like a chainsaw had been used. Grimacing, Yeong Hwa picked up the knife and once more set about her task of making breakfast, as much as she hated it.

"Whoever decided fruit is healthy is stupid!" She growled, glancing over at the notes she had brought from home, all organized neatly in a bright pink folder. It was mostly recipes, but Yeong Hwa had also pulled off various games she could play with the kids and other child care tips. It was pretty much going to be her "Babysitting For Dummies" guide, which was the reason she had, in a moment of foolishness, scrawled that name across the front of the folder.

Myung Soo would have a hay day with that, which was why Yeong Hwa was keeping a recipe card at hand in case she needed to quickly cover the handwritten title. No sense in giving him any more ammunition than he already had on that little deadly cell phone. If she could just take that cell phone from him it would make her life so much easier, but unfortunately that was like trying to take the launch codes for a nuclear warhead. Impossible, and with deadly consequences if one was caught.

Not from Myung Soo, of course. The guy couldn't hurt a fly even if he tried, so taking on Yeong Hwa would be pure suicide for the guy, but he could sick every jock at Woollim High on her by sending out those pictures of her in a tiara and tutu. Just the thought of those pictures getting out made Yeong Hwa sick to her stomach and, when topped off with these stupid apples, Yeong Hwa's day couldn't possibly get any worse.

"Haven't you ever peeled an apple before?"

Nope, take that back. Her day could get worse. A LOT worse.

Groaning inwardly, Yeong Hwa turned to face Myung Soo as he stood in the doorway of the kitchen, watching her slow progress with a smug smirk on his face. Sticking out her tongue, Yeong Hwa turned her back to him and subtly slid the recipe card over her folder. Already he was going to mock her for her lack of apple peeling skills, she really didn't need him to see her corny title.

"I guess no?" Myung Soo continued, walking up behind Yeong Hwa and reaching around her to wrap his hands over hers. Stiffening, Yeong Hwa tried to dig her heels into the kitchen's floor, but her efforts were for not and Myung Soo succeeded in pushing her closer to the cutting board. "It isn't going to explode, Yeong Hwa. You can stand close to the cutting board" he chuckled, standing firmly as Yeong Hwa's attempts to push him away worked like trying to stop a boulder from falling on top of you.

When she realized that this was futile, Yeong Hwa slackened in defeat and reluctantly allowed Myung Soo to guide her through the motions of peeling an apple. Behind her she could feel his breath on the top of her head, tickling her scalp as he slowly inhaled and exhaled in time with the movements of the knife. It was only a little thing, but it was enough to make Yeong Hwa abandon ship.

Ducking under Myung Soo's arms, Yeong Hwa hurried backwards until she was pressed up against the counter. "I'm not going to fall for you!" She snapped, pointing an accusing finger at Myung Soo as he turned to see where she had run off to. Raising his eyebrows, Myung Soo continued to casually peel away the apple's skin and waited for a further explanation. "Coming up so close to me and... stuff! I watch dramas, I know where you were headed!"

"You watch dramas?" Myung Soo asked, trying not to laugh as he did so. Blushing, Yeong Hwa grabbed the nearest dish towel and tossed it at him. The scrap of cloth wasn't quite heavy enough, though, and only managed to flutter uselessly to the ground a couple inches from Myung Soo's feet. Even more embarrassed now, Yeong Hwa turned sharply away from Myung Soo and stalked over to the refrigerator.

"Just keep peeling apples, jerk" Yeong Hwa muttered, yanking open the refrigerator door and angrily looking around for some eggs. Myung Soo wasn't done playing with her, though.

"Jerk is hardly what you should call your new master" he egged on, resting against the counter with a small, smug smirk on his face. Stiffening, Yeong Hwa rounded furiously on him and stalked forward until her nose was inches from his. Granted, this meant she had to stand on her very tippiest toes, since he was at least six inches taller than her, but Yeong Hwa could hardly be bothered by any trifling details when she was hungry...

"Er... angry. I'm angry" Yeong Hwa corrected, trying not to keep her embarrassing slip up from reaching her face. She had never been good at hiding her feelings, though, and it was obvious that Myung Soo could see right through her. Still, she wasn't about to let this arrogant son of a demon get away with calling himself her "master". "Never refer to yourself as my master. Got it?" Yeong Hwa hissed, jabbing her finger into Myung Soo's chest. Unfazed by her aggressive behavior, Myung Soo only nodded and then sidled off to the side in order to avoid having her pressing up against him.

That was the best she could expect at the moment, so Yeong Hwa gave up on any further confrontation and deflated near instantaneously. Besides, the twins would be waking up soon and the last thing she wanted was for them to think poorly of her. Myung Soo was their older brother and, no matter how misguided the affection was, they loved him. Seeing their babysitter, whom they had only known for roughly three days, bullying this adored sibling would definitely make them hate the babysitter in question.

"Just keep peeling apples" Yeong Hwa sighed, but her exasperation was greatly demeaned by her stomach rumbling loudly just then. Yesterday had been the first time she had ever indulged in eating all three meals of the day, since normally she had to scrimp and save every bit of food, and money, that she could. Her stomach had greatly enjoyed the treat, and now that she had spoiled it once was expecting to get another meal this morning.

"So that's why you're so cranky" Myung Soo chuckled, gesturing to her stomach. Flustered, Yeong Hwa turned back to the refrigerator and busied herself with searching for eggs. She was positive she had seen some the day before, so unless Myung Soo had eaten them all during the night they should still be in existence.

Eventually Yeong Hwa rediscovered the eggs, crammed into the back of the refrigerator behind a large package of beef. Carefully, Yeong Hwa reached around the beef to try and grab the eggs, without either touching the meat or breaking the fragile eggs. Behind her, Myung Soo watched this obviously futile attempt for a minute or so before deciding to step in. After putting down the half peeled apple he had been working on the Kingka walked over the fridge and gently pushed Yeong Hwa aside. Frowning, Yeong Hwa tried to nudge him back out of the way but was once more forced to admit that trying to make Myung Soo move was like trying to move a five hundred ton boulder.

"Just move the meat over. You don't have to make it so difficult" Myung Soo explained, making a show of pushing aside the beef package and then sliding out the eggs. Rolling her eyes, Yeong Hwa snatched away the eggs from Myung Soo and stalked over to the stove, where a frying pan had already been set out. "What, are you scared of meat or something?" he chuckled, ever curious about the workings of Yeong Hwa's mind.

"Not scared... just grossed out" she admitted, watching Myung Soo out of the corner of her eye to see if he was going to laugh at her. When he didn't, she continued with her explanation. "I mean, you do know that stuff leaks, right? Then you've got meat juice all over everything, including your hands" she grimaced, remembering one too many bad experiences with that sort of thing.

"Meat juice? You mean blood?" Myung Soo asked, returning to the cutting board and removing skins from apples.

"No" Yeong Hwa groaned, rolling her eyes again as she the stove. "I mean meat juice. I'm not sure what it is, besides gross" she explained, although it was hardly the clarifying speech that was usually associated with explanations. In fact, it had only managed to do the opposite for Myung Soo, who was still convinced that she was talking about blood and just didn't want to admit she had used a childish name.

Cracking open one of the eggs, Yeong Hwa let it slide out of the shell and onto the frying pan, which instantly began sizzling as it gobbled up the offering. "How do the twins like their eggs?" Yeong Hwa asked, searching the drawers for a spatula.

"I dunno" Myung Soo replied, shrugging his shoulders as he started slicing up the apples.

"They're your family! How do you not know something simple like this?" Yeong Hwa pointed out, pulling out a spatula from its hiding place in the farthest reaches of the bottom drawer. Apparently the thing wasn't used often, and so as a precaution Yeong Hwa ran it under hot water to get rid of any invisible specks of dust or bacteria.

"So then how does your mom have her eggs?" Myung Soo countered, defensive about his lack of knowledge of the twins. It was true that he was their big brother, and that normal big brothers would at least know something about their siblings. As he thought about his lacking skills in the family department, Myung Soo noticed that Yeong Hwa wasn't answering him. "See, it isn't easy to remember stuff like that!" he triumphantly said, turning to face Yeong Hwa.

Her face had gone dead serious as she frowned sullenly at the egg that was cooking, not looking up at him in order to give some snappy comeback. "Yeah. I guess you're right" she relented, throwing her hands up in the air. "So how do you like your-"

"Morning" a sleepy child's voice mumbled from the doorway as its owner, Seo Hyeon, staggered into the kitchen. Smiling, Myung Soo was about to greet her when Yeong Hwa butted in.

"Don't come in the kitchen, Seo Hyeon. Its dangerous" she quickly said, stretching out her leg in the little girl's path. Too tired to get offended, Seo Hyeon nodded sleepily and changed course, now heading towards the dining table. Separated from his little sister, Myung Soo glanced over in disapproval at Yeong Hwa. "What, it is dangerous in the kitchen. What would you do if that knife dropped, or the pan tipped over, or-"

"Okay, I get it" Myung Soo sighed, waving off Yeong Hwa's argument before going back to slicing up the apples. "I just think that was a little harsh" he added, determined to get the last word in.

Rolling her eyes, Yeong Hwa began ripping the now cooked egg apart in order to scramble it, as well as to take out some of her frustrations with Myung Soo. "That's what you get when the Warrior Princess comes to babysit" she pointed out, also working to get the last word in on their little debate.

"So that would make you the Warrior Babysitter, if I'm not mistaken" Myung Soo chuckled, gesturing with the knife to her current flower apron outfit. Yeong Hwa's response of a dark glare would have been more intimidating if she hadn't flinched away from the knife when Myung Soo pointed it in her direction. Smirking, Myung Soo held the knife over head and made a few stabbing motions while singing the cliche horror-slasher film theme.

Rolling her eyes, Yeong Hwa tried to ignore Myung Soo's sudden display of childish humor and went back to scrambling the eggs. She couldn't resist commenting on Myung Soo's behavior, though, and turned back to assure him of his childishness. "I never took you for the type to- AH!" Yeong Hwa screamed, jerking back from the knife that was hovering inches from her face. On the other side was Myung Soo, a satisfied grin on his face as he leaned the knife closer to Yeong Hwa.

"Kim Myung Soo I swear I will kill you!" Yeong Hwa threatened, holding her spatula like the sword of a samurai preparing for battle. This didn't concern Myung Soo, though, and he continued his advance on her with childish glee. "Myung Soo" Yeong Hwa warned, but now she was finding herself being carried away by the ridiculousness of the moment and beginning to laugh. Taking her stifled laughs as encouragement, Myung Soo continued following Yeong Hwa with the knife. Squealing, Yeong Hwa swatted Myung Soo's arm with the spatula, splattering egg onto his pajamas and even catching a piece in his uncombed bed head.

"You actually squealed!" Myung Soo exclaimed disbelieving as Yeong Hwa slapped a hand over in embarrassment. Eyes narrowing mischievously, Myung Soo abandoned his knife on the counter and wrapped his arm around Yeong Hwa's waist, drawing her in closer to him. "Can you do it again?" he teased, his breath tickling the hair by Yeong Hwa's ear. Squirming, Yeong Hwa pressed her lips tightly together to avoid the escape of any involuntary sounds of delight. Smirking playfully, Myung Soo started to tickle her side in order to try and force her to squeal again.

Biting down on the inside of her cheek, Yeong Hwa's struggle to escape started up again with renewed vigor as the looming threat of squealing came rapidly up on her. It wasn't until she felt she would burst if she didn't make some sort of noise, though, that somebody came to her rescue.

"You guys!!!" Seo Hyeon screamed, cupping her hands around her tiny mouth to increase the volume. Instantly Myung Soo and Yeong Hwa froze mid-struggle, all four eyes instantly swiveling to Seo Hyeon to see what was bothering the little girl. Puffing out her cheeks, Seo Hyeon held her hands on her hips and fixed the two older "children" with a critical eye. "There's someone at the door" she finally explained, pointing in the general direction of the front door.

Surprised, Yeong Hwa looked up at Myung Soo questioningly. "I didn't expect anyone" he insisted, shrugging his shoulders as he helped Yeong Hwa back onto her feet, since she had practically fallen over from trying to squirm her way out of his grip. As they did so the doorbell rang, soon followed by an impatient pounding on the door.

"Come in!" Yoogeun called out as he wandered into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes.

"Yah, Yoogeun! Come unlock the door!" a male voice answered from the other side, followed by even more pounding on the door. Yeong Hwa didn't recognize the speaker, but as she glanced back at Myung Soo she could tell by his expression that he did. "Yoogeun? Open the door please!" the voice persisted, the pounding on the door acting like punctuation for this stranger's words. It was very annoying, so Yeong Hwa wasn't surprised that Myung Soo would know this guy.

"I swear I didn't invite him" Myung Soo defended, holding his hands up as Yeong Hwa looked to him for an explanation. Now curious about this visitor's identity, Yeong Hwa went over to the dining room's window and pushed aside the curtain's so that she could see who was at the door. As soon as she located their visitor, Yeong Hwa could see why Myung Soo had said what he did.

"So if you didn't invite him, then why the hell-"

"Please watch your language" Myung Soo interrupted, gesturing to the twins as they watched the scene with sleepy interest. Frowning, Yeong Hwa nodded curtly and jerked her thumb in the direction of the window.

"Why the freaking heck is Dong Woo on our doorstep?" she finished, adding an adjective to her watered down curse to try and give it a bit more oomph, because baby language really couldn't express how annoyed she was with Myung Soo for making her life so difficult. Shrugging his shoulders, Myung Soo joining her at the window and glanced outside before quickly closing the curtains.

"He just shows up sometimes" Myung Soo sighed, running a hand through his hair to try and tame the uncared for mess. Rolling her eyes, Yeong Hwa sat down at the dining table and pressed her forehead against the refreshingly cool wooden surface, planning on waiting out Dong Woo and his stupidity. He was nice... for a stupid Kingka, but he could be really dense sometimes. Such as not coming over when she was here, in a flower apron, cooking breakfast and playing lovey-dovey with Myung Soo.

"Oh God... we really were acting like a lovey-dovey couple. It's like We Got Married or something!" Yeong Hwa thought, an all new horror taking hold of her. Cautiously, Yeong Hwa tilted her head to the side so that she could see Myung Soo. It didn't seem like he thought anything of their goofing off earlier, but... she couldn't really read him under normal circumstances, either. If he had something to hide, she was positive he would be able to easily do it. "Shiiiiiiit" she groaned, closing her eyes tightly and willing Dong Woo's incessant pounding to go away.

After a minute of Dong Woo's never ending knocking and yelling, Yeong Hwa could tell that hoping for him to go away would be useless. "Time for Plan B" she thought, standing up abruptly and causing Myung Soo to jump slightly. Sighing, she removed the apron and abandoned it on the seat she had previously been occupying before taking the twins's hands and leading them in the direction of the hall.

"You aren't going to let him in, are you?!" Myung Soo asked, surprised that she would take such a bold move.

"No, stupid. I'm going upstairs to get these two changed" Yeong Hwa retorted, rolling her eyes as she looked back at Myung Soo. Frowning, he glanced back out the window to see if Dong Woo had miraculously left, which, of course, he hadn't.

"Where are we going?" Yoogeun yawned, still half-asleep.

"On an adventure!" Yeong Hwa cheered, grinning brightly at him as they started up the stairs.

"I'm hungry" Seo Hyeon complained, trying to tug Yeong Hwa back down the stairs and into the kitchen. Sighing, Yeong Hwa briefly let go of Seo Hyeon's hand, just long enough to wrap one arm around the little girl's waist and hoist her up in the air. Protesting loudly, Seo Hyeon tried to squirm free, but Yeong Hwa kept a firm grip on her.

"We'll go get some special food outside" Yeong Hwa explained, setting down Seo Hyeon once they had gotten upstairs. Still annoyed, but satisfied that she wouldn't starve, Seo Hyeon reluctantly followed Yeong Hwa into her room to get dressed for the day's adventure. Yoogeun split off from the girls and went into his room to dress himself, which he had assured Yeong Hwa he could do. She wasn't sure she entirely believed him, but... it couldn't hurt to let him try. It might give him some confidence, after all.

"So what do you want to wear?" Yeong Hwa asked, opening Seo Hyeon's closet. What she saw was more shocking than coming face to face with a knife, and Yeong Hwa couldn't help but let out a low whistle of appreciation. The closet was jampacked with all sorts of clothing articles, creating a wardrobe that had to be at least twice as large as Yeong Hwa's, if not thrice. Why one little girl needed so many clothes, Yeong Hwa would never know.

Squeezing past Yeong Hwa, Seo Hyeon went straight to a specific portion of the closet and started pulling down a bright green t-shirt and light brown mini-shorts. A simple outfit, but a cute one. Nodding her approval, Yeong Hwa followed Seo Hyeon to her bed, where she pulled out a large plastic storage tub that was filled with shoes.

"Going through this girl's clothes is like touring a mall... twice" Yeong Hwa thought, watching as Seo Hyeon shifted through the avalanche of shoes she kept locked up in the tub. Yeong Hwa had exactly two pairs of shoes, with one being a pair of tattered sandals and the other her well-used sneakers. Never has she imagined having this many shoes, even when she did have money. It just seemed so... ridiculous! Especially for a four year old girl.

"Which ones do you like, Unni?" Seo Hyeon asked, holding up one pink sandal with a flower decal and one dark blue sandal. Not exactly an expert on style, Yeong Hwa decided to go for practicality and hope that Seo Hyeon wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

"The blue one is nice" Yeong Hwa decided, pointing to the shoe in question. Nodding, Seo Hyeon carelessly tossed the pink sandal back into the tub, exchanging it for the blue's partner. Whether the blue was actually prettier or not hadn't been a factor in Yeong Hwa's decision, which was instead based on which would show the least amount of dirt if they were to get messy. Which was a given since Seo Hyeon, for all her glamor and glitz, was a four year old kid who would obviously play around in the dirt.

Maybe not as much as Yeong Hwa, who had to be forcibly dragged out of mud piles when she was younger. Smiling at the memory of her father trying to keep his daughter a precious princess, Yeong Hwa had Seo Hyeon sit on the edge of her bed so that she could help her slip on the sandals.

"They're so little" Yeong Hwa mused as she firmly attached the Velcro. When compared to her own shoes, Yeong Hwa's looked like they belonged to a giant duck. Not that it was practical to compare herself to someone who was three times younger than herself.

"Let's go!" Yoogeun suddenly urged, drawing Yeong Hwa's attention to where he stood in the doorway. The instant she saw him she had to quickly press her fist to her lips to keep from laughing, and thus offend the poor little guy. Seo Hyeon, on the other hand, was not nearly as sensitive to her little brother's plight and fell off her bed from laughing so hard. Sighing, Yeong Hwa put on her most sympathetic smile and strode over to Yoogeun, whose expression was one of pure confusion.

Bright red Power Rangers shirt backwards, loose sock dangling out from beneath his baseball cap, and his shoes on the wrong feet, to name a few of the malfunctions of the kid's wardrobe. Chuckling, Yeong Hwa patted him affectionately on the head before helping him to right all the many, humorous wrongs he had gotten himself stuck in. Once this was done, she took a step back to evaluate the outfit for practicality. Everything seemed good, although Yeong Hwa had the suspicion that she would end up carrying around his hat for him after a little while of wearing it. That was the least of her worries, though...

"Yah! Kim Myung Soo! Open the door!"

"SSSSSHHH!" Seo Hyeon hissed, running over to the top of the stairs and leaning down. Giggling, Yeong Hwa took Yoogeun's hand and led him behind her as she followed Seo Hyeon to the stairs. Down at the bottom, Myung Soo was trying to comb out his hair while simultaneously brushing his teeth. Normally Yeong Hwa would have called him out on the ridiculousness of his situation, but right now she was more concerned with getting away from Dong Woo's loud mouth.

Looking up at the three as they descended the stairs, Myung Soo gestured impatiently for them to hurry. Rolling her eyes, Yeong Hwa dramatically slowed down her pace to that of a crawl, much to the enjoyment of the twins.

"Look, if you want to get caught then go ahead and goof off" Myung Soo grumbled, pointing to the front door with his toothbrush and splattering foamy toothpaste on the floor. Frowning in disapproval at his mess making, Yeong Hwa scooped up the twins and took the last couple stairs two at a time. Nodding in approval, Myung Soo jammed his toothbrush back into his mouth and pointed to an open closet door. Raising her eyebrows, Yeong Hwa waited to see if he was joking.

Groaning, Myung Soo pulled the toothbrush back out and pointed to the closet with it, once more splattering foamy toothpaste everywhere. "Hide in there until I can get Dong Woo into the kitchen. Then you guys can sneak out the front door" he explained, nudging Yeong Hwa in the direction of the closet. Nodding, she brushed him off and hurried the twins inside, following closely behind and closing the door behind them after a sharp glare in Myung Soo's direction.

"Don't worry, I'm not telling him you're here. Knowing Dong Woo, he'll get all sorts of weird ideas if he finds you hiding out here" Myung Soo assured her, though he wasn't sure if she could even hear him with the door closed. Sighing, Myung Soo hurriedly finished with the last touches on his hair and then jammed his toothbrush into his mouth before opening the door.

"Finally!" Dong Woo whined, not bothering to wait for Myung Soo to let him in before he shouldered his way through the door. Groaning inwardly, Myung Soo shut the door behind Dong Woo and gestured for him to head into the kitchen. Nodding, Dong Woo sniffed at the air, catching a whiff of the cooking breakfast. "So she's here, then?" he asked, eagerly following Myung Soo into the kitchen.

"Nope" Myung Soo replied, pulling his toothbrush out of his mouth and heading to the sink to spit. With as much talking as he was doing, it was pretty pointless to try and brush his teeth.

"What?! Why not?!" Dong Woo demanded, flopping into one of the chairs at the dining table. Shrugging his shoulders, Myung Soo tried not to look at Dong Woo as he prepared for his next lie. He never had been good at lying to people, especially his friends. He always felt too guilty about it. "Come on, L! Out with it!" Dong Woo pressed, resting his arms on the table.

"She called in sick, or something" Myung Soo mumbled, hoping that his tone was casual enough to make him believable.

"Sick? Then we should go and see how she's doing!" Dong Woo suggested brightly, already preparing to leave. Out in the hall, Myung Soo could barely hear the closet door creaking open as Yeong Hwa prepared to leave. Panicking, he flew across the kitchen and grabbed Dong Woo's arm, preventing him from going out into the hall.

"I don't know where she lives" he quickly explained, his eyes flickering to the open kitchen door. Out in the hall, Yeong Hwa was trying to hurry the twins out the door. Yoogeun, the ever persistent troublemaker, had apparently picked up too well on the need to be sneaky and was now pretending to be a ninja and hiding behind every available space. At that rate, Myung Soo would be trying to keep Dong Woo occupied for the next millennium in order to give them enough time to sneak out.

"Dude, you have some serious problems" Dong Woo sighed, brushing off Myung Soo's grip and heading further into the kitchen. Sighing, Myung Soo frantically waved Yoogeun on, but only got a quick salute in response. Groaning quietly to himself, Myung Soo followed Dong Woo. "I mean, come on! You have a y babysitter hanging out with you all day and you don't even bother learning where she lives?" he sighed, sympathetically looking over at Myung Soo while he poked at the scrambled eggs with a spatula.

"She's my babysitter, not my girlfriend" Myung Soo defended, trying not to throw up at the thought of going out with a violent, ill-tempered girl like Yeong Hwa. Yeah she might be nice to the twins, but he had seen her at school long enough to know that she wasn't like that with everyone. Especially him, and any other Kingka or remotely popular person at that school.

"Seriously, it's like she's trying to make everyone avoid her" Myung Soo thought, glancing out into the hall just in time to see Yeong Hwa closing the door behind her and the twins. With that worry off his mind, Myung Soo could now focus entirely on Dong Woo.

Who was now eating his breakfast.

"Yah, Hyung! What do you think you're doing?!" Myung Soo snapped, yanking away the spatula before Dong Woo could steal anymore eggs. Frowning, Dong Woo moved on from the eggs and began to pull out apple slices from Myung Soo's carefully created pile. Sighing, Myung Soo ran a hand through his hair and tried not to let things get to him too much. It wasn't like he would be able to eat all this by himself, after all.

"Did you cook this?" Dong Woo asked, pointing to the eggs. Nodding hesitantly, Myung Soo snagged an apple out of the bowl and popped it out of his mouth. "Really? I didn't think you were that good of a cook" Dong Woo asked disbelievingly, now looking at Myung Soo in a new light.

"Neither did I" Myung Soo replied lamely, averting his eyes away from Dong Woo's. Now, knowing Dong Woo's loud mouth, Myung Soo was going to be portrayed as some sort of a fabulous cook, and that would mean the other guys would expect him to make them something. Wouldn't they be surprised when he poisoned them instead?

"But anyway, we need to get you a girlfriend" Dong Woo continued, entirely dropping the subject of cooking. Myung Soo had preferred the culinary discussion, though.

"I'm not going out with my babysit-"

"Not her!" Dong Woo laughed, forming an X with his arms. "She's way out of your league."

"She's way out of my league?" Myung Soo spluttered disbelievingly, gesturing to nobody in particular as he did so. Nodding, Dong Woo took another apple slice.

"If she had made a move on you, you would be complaining about it. Since you aren't complaining, she obviously doesn't have feelings for you" Dong Woo reasoned, shrugging his shoulders. "I mean, come on Myung Soo. Everyone hits on you, so those who don't have gotta be special."

"Yeah... special" Myung Soo scoffed, rolling his eyes. Across from him, Dong Woo finished off his apple slice and wrapped an arm around Myung Soo's shoulders. Frowning, Myung Soo tried to shrug off his assailant, but Dong Woo wasn't about to be so easily dissuaded.

"I'm sorry, L. I didn't mean to hurt our precious little boy's pride" Dong Woo chuckled, mussing up Myung Soo's hair. Groaning, Myung Soo ducked away from Dong Woo's grip and fixed him with a playful glare. Still laughing, Dong Woo pushed himself up onto the counter so that he could sit more comfortably. Following suit, Myung Soo claimed the counter opposite Dong Woo.

After this short discussion, the boys lapsed into silence as they quickly made short work of the half-prepared breakfast. "So... how about a blind date?" Dong Woo asked, breaking the comfortable quiet that had developed between him and Myung Soo. Groaning, Myung Soo slid off the counter and grabbed Dong Woo's arm, pulling him off the counter. "Oh come on! I know a few girls, and Woo Hyun knows plenty that would love to go out with you!" Dong Woo protested, trying to stop Myung Soo from pushing him out of the kitchen, to no avail.

"I hate blind dates" Myung Soo said, finally managing to get Dong Woo out the door.

"Please! I promise we won't put you up with a freak!"

Myung Soo shook his head and shut the door behind Dong Woo, ending the conversation just as abruptly as it had started. Sighing, Dong Woo hopped down the stairs and pulled out his cellphone. After flipping through his contacts, a whopping nine people, Dong Woo put the phone to his ear and listened to the music playing while he waited for Woo Hyun to pick up the phone.

"Yabuseyo?"

"Woo Hyun! I need a girl!"

Author's Note: Originally this chapter was going to be combined with 7, but I've been trying to keep each chapter at (or just a little under) 20 pages, and this chapter has already gone over by a page, haha

Plus, I kind of rushed the end of this so it isn't very good. It's almost 9 pm now, and my writing is never good when I'm tired. Probably should have just waited until tomorrow to finish the chapter up, but... oh well XD

Chapter 27: WOW THIS IS A REALLY GOOD STORY. i read this from the morning till 12:32am then next day cause the chapters are so long with details and cuteness. you write really well and im surprised why this story doesnt have the attention it deserves :S im so confused cause this is better than most of the stories out there it was so cute and just ahhhhh i read it all in one day cause i didnt want to stop LOL the ending was a bit rushed but thats okay i enjoyed this story alot and it seriously needs more praise anyways THANK YOU FOR A GREAT STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
