[Jungsoo's Pov] 

Heechul has been discharged after he finally managed to recover. It's been a week since he woke up and I haven't seen him nor talked to him.

“He's doing good and I suggest you don't push him to remember everything. It might trigger him and that can cause his stress and it will only be more difficult for him to remember his memories. I can't guarantee that he'd still be able to get back his memories. Let's just observe him and his progress.” I remember what the doctor said when Heechul failed to name one of us—he didn't even know himself.

That day, it was such a rollercoaster feeling. Everyone in his room was crying while him, confused and no emotions. I sometimes secretly visit him at the hospital to see him but I never get close to him or even inside his room. I'd rather stay outside than go near him. I might end up saying the things I shouldn't.

“Sir, are you finished checking the files? We are just waiting for your approval so we can proceed.” My secretary said, I looked at her and frowned.

“What?” 

“Are you really okay? Ever since you came back here, you haven't always been yourself.” 

“I'm fine.” 

“As I said, we're just waiting for your approval.” She repeatedly said.

She's right. When I continued to work, I wasn't really myself—when Heechul couldn't remember me, my life has been through but still trying my best to make it each day.

“Jungsoo..” Donghae finally arrived and Eunhyuk was with him. I'm so jealous of them, they look so happy and in love. Imagine if I and Heechul ended up like that, we would be a lovely couple .

“How is he?” I asked him as soon as they both sat down and greeted me. 

“He's doing better. We're slowly helping him and he still can't remember us. His mom is always by his side and guiding him.” Donghae informed me about Heechul.

“Although he can't remember a thing, he's already comfortable around us. He smiles a lot lately and Jungsoo, you don't have to worry about him.” Eunhyuk added and smiled at me.

“I really want to see him. I miss him so much and it's driving me crazy.” I said and lowered down my head.

“Do you want to hear his voice?” Donghae suddenly asked me so looked up to him and he took his phone out. He didn't wait for my answer and dialed someone's number.

“Heechul.” Donghae said, putting it on loud speaker so I could hear it.

“Why? I thought you'd visit me?” 

His voice. I missed that voice a lot.

“I will. We just went somewhere and we will be there later. You want something?”

“Donuts. I suddenly craved for it.”

“Okay, we will buy you.” 

“Yes! You're the best!!!”

Hearing his voice, I can sense that he is really happy and there's only one changes, he's acting like a clingy kid. I'm glad I've heard his voice...

“Heechul....” I couldn't hold myself back and started to talk. I tried my best not to cry but I failed. My tears are streaming down my face and my heart is tearing apart. 

“Oh. A new voice? Who's this?”

“You don't have to know me. I am happy that you are happy. I'm always cheering for you and praying for your happiness.”

“What? Donghae, are you still there?”

“I'm still here.” Donghae worriedly look at me and gently squeeze my hand, comforting me.

“Who's that guy?”

“A friend of mine. He heard about your accident and he wished you would able to recover soon. He's a good guy.”

“Oh... That's so nice of him, knowing that he doesn't personally know me but still hoping me the best. If you're still listening, I just want to say thank you.”

“You're welcome.” My voice cracked up and tears kept falling.

“It's so nice to have a conversation with you. Hae, I need to hang up and I'll see you later.”

“Okay bye.” 

Donghae ended the phone conversation and they both comforted me. It breaks my heart... If only he knew... How I wish he knew me. They stayed a bit more and left since they were going to visit Heechul.

Since I and his parents made a promise, I have to keep my words and do what they told me. I want him to be happy and if his happiness means I should stay away from him, I'd do it.

I will wait for him, I'll wait until he remembers me. True love always comes back and I always believe in him. Whatever it takes, I will wait for him.

[Heechul's Pov] 

“You have a visitor.” Mom said as she peeked through my door. I forgot to close it.

“Who? I never invited anyone tho.” I sat up and stared at her.

“Kyunghoon. He's downstairs and having a conversation with your father.” Mom replied. 

After I woke up from a long sleep, yes I'd addressed it that way—my parents explained what happened and said I was driving alone at night. I didn't notice that there was an oncoming car that caused me to have an accident.
