Today Seulgi will meet with Mr. Bae. Irene and Seulgi almost arrive at Bae residence. As Seulgi imagined, Irene and her family stayed in an elite neighborhood. He heard a lot about the neighborhood where Irene stayed because a lot of famous and rich people stayed there. Seulgi drove Mercedes Kang into the gate of Bae house. The house is designed with modern design and the area is very wide. Seulgi was not shocked when he saw the house design because Irene's family came from an architect background. They surely design the best for their house.

Irene and Seulgi were greeted by security and gardeners at the entrance. Irene is so nice with her staff. They also are not using honorifics because Irene said his parents acknowledge their staff as family. Even the staff calling them sir and ma’am, Irene's parents calling them in a friendly way. Irene also calls them ahjumma or ahjussi. The staff address Irene with her own name as Irene insist

Seulgi parked Mercedes Kang at the car porch beside the familiar car. Both of them hop out of the car and Seulgi taking a look for a while

“Bae, your house is so big. We should play hide-and-seek next time” say Seulgi

“Nonsense” Irene giggle then she link her arm with Seulgi as they walk inside

Both of them walk to the living room where the elder is waiting for them. Seulgi feels weird about himself. He was supposed to be nervous for this meeting but now he is relaxed as usual. He is going to face Mr. Bae for God sake. He just feel so good today so he will only follow the flow

“Dad, momma” Irene calling her parents attention

The elder looking at his daughter who coming with her boyfriend “Hey kids” say Mrs. Bae “Hi Seulgi, welcome to our house”

“Hi aunty…” before Seulgi continued talking, his eyes met with someone familiar “Uncle Taeng!”

Mr. Bae gasp in excitement “Kangseul?!”

Irene and her mom looked at each other “Did you two know each other already?” Irene asking with curiosity

Seulgi and Mr. Bae grin “We used to meet at the roadside” he said innocently

“Yeobo, he is the young man that I told you before” say Mr. Bae to his wife

“He will accompany you until your assistant arrives and gives you food?” Mr. Bae nods his head excitedly

Irene is still in a daze. “Wait, tell me what actually happened. I still confused”

Seulgi tells Irene about the incident that brings him to meet with Mr. Bae. Now Irene understand what everyone are talking about

“Why don't you tell me that you met daddy before this?”

“I don’t know that Uncle Taeng is your dad. Besides, you still out of town when we met so I forgot to tell you” say Seulgi

Mr. Bae continued “I also don’t know that Kangseul is your boyfriend, Hyun. If he told me his real name, I will bring him back and dinner together”

“Seul, why don't you tell your uncle your real name?” ask Mrs. Bae

“I not usually say my real name to stranger” Seulgi giggle

“Alright, since you two already know each other. We don’t need to do ice breaking anymore” say Mrs. Bae

“True, now both of you go prepare our lunch. Daddy want to talk with Seulgi”

Irene quickly looking at her dad “Dad, you don’t bully him or ask him to do stupid things. I will ban your driving license if you do so” she scarily warn her dad

Seulgi and Mr. Bae jump in shock “Aigoo, this scary daughter of mine. I will not hurt your Seulgi”

“Promise dad?”

“Yeah, the least…he only lost his teeth or I ask him to clean swimming pool”

“Dad!” Irene yell

“Hyun, daddy is just kidding. Don’t mad” Mr. Bae quickly surrender

“You better not doing stupid things, dad or I will sell your car collection”

“Okay boss!” Mr. Bae gave his daughter a salute “Seulgi, let’s talk outside. We shouldn’t let the lioness to hear our conversation” he drag Seulgi out to the garden

“Daddy/yeobo!” Irene and her mother scream

Seulgi and Mr. Bae sit beside the pool while drinking coffee. There is no awkwardness between the men. They are having casual talk like they used to meet each other for years. Opposite to what Seulgi used to hear about Mr. Bae, the middle-age man in front of him is warm, talkative, absurd and humorous and too much information

Both of them never lack a topic. From the important to most unimportant topics and gossip, you name it. Seulgi laughed a lot because of Mr. Bae's humor. Seulgi acknowledges that Irene takes after her father's absurd attitude. Mr. Bae is not talking about politics or sport like a certain man his age but he is gossiping about artists. Luckily Seulgi watches TV a lot and hears Irene gossiping with her friends so he knows about the latest gossip. Seulgi thought Yerim and Mr. Bae would blend well with each other because they are active in the gossip world. Their conversation will be connected. Mr. Bae really unpredictable

“Seulgi, what is your future plan for your relationship with Joohyun?” Mr. Bae ask after take a sip of his coffee

“As for now, we decided to date and get to know each other more. We haven’t planned for the next stage. Besides, I don’t want to rush. I want to save a lot of money before thinking about marriage. I don’t want to depend on Joohyun in finance because I’m a man. It’s me who should give her a lot”

Mr. Bae nods in agreement. He accepts Seulgi's reasoning because it makes sense “I agree with your opinion. You’re a man with vision. I like your personality. This is what I want for my future son-in-law. You are going to be Joohyun's husband in the future. That means you also will assist her to manage my company. I need someone like you to walk beside her and support her in whatever situation. I have my faith in you”
