Irene excitedly tells Seulgi about her first night sleeping with Bubble. Seulgi keep laughing as he hear Irene babbling about her and Bubble activities the entire night

“Bae you know, she drinks milk a lot and wakes up very often last night. Thankfully she was not throwing a tantrum. She just cannot calm down when she want to drink milk” say Irene from the other side

Seulgi chuckles, “Are you having trouble waking up?”

“No, because I already prepared for it. I immediately open my eyes when I hear her whimper”

“What about making her milk and changing diapers?”

“At first I took time because I panicked when she was crying. I learned from my mistake, I put milk powder into the bottle after I put her to sleep again. When she wakes up, I only need to add hot water so that she doesn't need to wait too long. As for her diapers, I don’t have problem changing it now”

“That’s good then. Are you having fun doing mom’s duty?”

“So much fun even tiring” Irene chirped happily

“How many times did both of you wake up last night?”

“I don’t know but pretty often”

“Shall I sleep at your house so that I can help you attend to her at night? You must be very tired especially when you start working” Seulgi stated

Irene silent for a few seconds “I think there is no need for now. I still stay at home. I can rest during the day and mom will look after her. Let see how it will goes when I go back to work”

“Okay bae, if you and bubble need anything, just inform me. I will try to get it for both of you”

“Thank you, love. Can’t wait to see you to be a super daddy” Irene cackle

“I hope I can bring the best out of myself”

“I know you can do it. If I can, why not you, right? We learn slowly”

Seulgi smiles widely even Irene can’t see it “Okay bae, I got to go now. I will text you again after finish my work”

“Alright bae, love you”

“Love you too, bae. I miss you and bubble” said Seulgi

“We miss you too. I will send her photo so that it can be your mood booster”

“I’m waiting. Bye, bae”

“Bye love”

They end the call together. Few minutes later, Seulgi receives a picture from Irene. He smile warmly when he saw Bubble’s picture that was send by his girlfriend

Hi daddy! I just finish drinking my milk. Can’t wait to talk to you tonight. Miss you, daddy. Have fun working. Fighting!

“Ahh, I miss my Bubble already” Seulgi sigh then he reply the text

After exchanging cute and sweet texts, Seulgi goes back to his work because lunchtime is over. He decide to go a bit far from his friends since Suho and Moonbyul are there. They don’t want the others to know it yet so he keep distance from them when he want to talk to Irene

Today Irene and Seulgi go to Mr. Yoo's office because the lawyer said he already got the result of his investigation. Both of them are nervous, especially Irene. She holding tightly on Seulgi hand ever since they step inside the building

“Joohyun-ssi and Seulgi-ssi”

“Yes”

Mr. Yoo gave an envelope to them then Seulgi unsealed it. He take out the papers from the envelope to read what written inside

“This is the result of my investigation. I asked the doctor that signed the documents and she verified it is originally from their hospital. The baby was really born in that hospital and her mother also passed away after a few minutes delivering her. Her mother is 33 years old while her dad is 35. She was taken home after two days at the hospital. Based on the info from the doctor, she is a healthy baby. However, I recommend it’s better for both of you to bring her to hospital for further checkup because we don’t know if her family bring her to hospital again for monthly medical checkup or not”

The couple nodded their heads as they listened to Mr. Yoo's explanation. Irene spoke after that “I also plan to bring her for a medical checkup but I hold it for a while until my investigator finishes his investigation. After everything is settle properly, I will bring her to hospital”

“That’s good, it’s better to not bring her out until you find out her true identity. I hope the other process goes well and you two find the answer quickly. I know how it felt if you still unable to solve the puzzle in your mind”

“You’re right, sir. Hearing the result from you already make us happy and we hope to hear the good news for another one too” Seulgi said

“Everything will be fine. Don’t stop praying so that nothing bad will happen”

“Okay sir”

Irene tapped her fingers then she asked “Mr. Yoo, if the result turns out positive, can you help me with the adoption process?”

“Sure thing, I will help as much as I can. It’s not a big problem. Just call me if you need anything. I will do my best” Mr. Yoo say without hesitation

“Thank you very much, Mr. Yoo. You’re the best”

“You’re welcome. It’s an honor to serve my client” Mr. Yoo say confidently

Irene and Seulgi arrived at home during lunch time. Mrs. Bae busy helping the maid serving the food on the table

“She is sleeping in your room. That’s why I have a chance to work in the kitchen. I guess she look for your touch earlier that’s why she throw tantrum a bit”

“Mom, is dad coming back for lunch?” ask Seulgi after he come back from the fridge with a glass of cold water
