Irene entered the bedroom to wake up her husband. Seulgi was still sleeping soundly because he worked overtime and arrived late last night. Following Irene is their little girl, Kang Hyunji also known as Kang Bubble. She cutely walking behind her mom approaching her sleeping daddy

“Bae, wake up” Irene taps Seulgi cheek softly but he still is not giving a response. Then Irene tried again “Bae, wake up. It’s 8:30 already”

“Bae~” Hyunji copying her mom

She often copies her parents' endearments to each other. Sometimes she calls her dad ‘Gi’ or ‘oppa’ and her mom ‘Hyun’, ‘Rene’ or ‘nie’ since she is unable to say unnie and Seulgi properly. At first her parents shock when she call them like that but then it became fun and cute

“Say daddy, wake up” Irene teaching her daughter

“Dyyy~”

Seulgi who was already awake only holding his smile hearing his favorite cute voice. After few minutes letting Hyunji tapping his cheek, he open his eyes

“Good morning baby”

“Good morning” say Irene

“Kiss” Seulgi pointed at his cheek, waiting for Hyunji to kiss him

Hyunji crawl to her dad then kiss him on cheek. After that, Seulgi hugging his daughter tightly and tickling her. Both of them laughing heartily. Irene smile warmly seeing her loved ones. It almost 2 years since they adopt Hyunji and 7 months after she and Seulgi settle down. They live happily as a small family

After getting married, Seulgi and his family moved to the house that he secretly purchased as Hyunji’s 1st birthday gift. He proposed to Irene to be his wife the first time they visited that house. Kang's family also moved to Seoul after Yerim graduated from high school. Seulgi bought a house for his parents in the same neighborhood so that they could stay close to each other. They house just 1 block apart

Irene’s parents agree with Seulgi's decision to have their own house. As much as they want Irene and her family to stay with them, they can’t against Seulgi's decision. After all, he is Irene’s husband. He has the right to decide everything for his family and Irene must follow her husband's decision. Besides, the new house is not that far from Bae residence so they can visit each other anytime

Both of them are still working as usual but less travel except for urgent reasons. When Irene and Seulgi work, Mrs. Kang will take care of Hyunji. She decides to stop working with Mrs. Bae so that she can take care of her granddaughter. Irene is very happy to hear that so that she doesn't need to send Hyunji to daycare if everyone is busy. Her mom is also back to work since her condition is better than before.

As for Sooyoung and Yerim, both girls are busy with their studies. Yerim enrolled in the same university as Sooyoung but took a different course. She pursues her dream as fashion designer and makes Mrs. Bae as her mentor. Even though her achievement is not as great as Sooyoung's, she still makes her family proud. She shines in her own way. As Irene promised, she also bought a car for Yerim as motivation for her like she did for Sooyoung. Even Yerim and Sooyoung are college students now but Irene is still pampering them. She always buys something for them to cheer them up and motivate them to study. Sometimes they bring the girls out for girl’s time on weekend

Seulgi comes to the dining table after washing up. Irene and Hyunji are already at the dining table. Hyunji sits on a baby chair while her mommy feeds her. For a kid her age, she eats really well. In her meal, Irene never leaves veggies to expose her to greens so that she is not picky when she grows up. She doesn't want Hyunji to become a meat eater like Seulgi. Every day she makes sure Hyunji is eating a healthy and balanced meal. Mrs. Kang also does the same to Hyunji. Now vegetables become Hyunji favorite food
