“So you really got her pregnant?” The voice whispered through the phone.

“It wasn’t intentional… It was probably when Sana and I were still trying to mend our broken marriage with a third.” Jeongyeon sighed. “I don’t have feelings for her, I really don’t. I just want her to be healthy, and be able to take care of the baby no worries. No matter what she decides.” She explained.

The other end of the call was silent, worrying Jeongyeon. She knew she had messed up, but everything was just a big pile of mess anyway. Her marriage falling apart in the matter of just a year after they had been married… Everything was just a giant show.

“Jeong… I really think we should call this off… With everything… Your divorce, your ex-wife… People are going to find out about us and I can’t… I can’t do that to Nayeon… I really can’t.” The voice sounded broken by the end of the sentence, everything just crashing down on her.

“I know… I know..” Jeongyeon sighed.

“I still love her a lot… And honestly, I don’t want to lose her.” She whispered.

“I know you love her Hyo…” Jeongyeon muttered.

“It’ll be better this way. That way we can just live our lives.” Jihyo explained. “I have to go… Nayeon is going to be home soon, and Momo will be too.”

“Take care… I’ll see you at work on Monday.” Jeongyeon said before hanging up.

Everything seemed to be blurry. Her entire life, she had just wanted someone to spend her days with. Someone who could love and cherish her… And she had that. She had someone who could love her enough to the point of it being sickening. And she ruined it.

She ruined it so quickly…

Chaeyoung and Dahyun had never been so excited in their lives. Everything just slowly working out for them finally. Everything just fitting so naturally together. Chaeyoung sat in her room, Dahyun sitting on the bed across from her. A little envelope sitting on the younger’s lap.

“Aren’t you going to open it?” Dahyun whispered.

“I’m scared.” Chaeyoung muttered.

“Being scared shouldn’t stop you.” Dahyun gave her a small, encouraging smile. Watching her slowly lift the envelope up, opening it to reveal a letter. “Well?” She asked after a few moments of silence.
