Thirteen
Unforeseen CircumstancesJeongyeon sat in disbelief. Mina sitting across from her in the hotel room. Everything didn’t seem right. Not in the slightest.
“This… Isn’t good… Hell it doesn’t even break bad… this is actually really, really bad.” Jeongyeon muttered.
“I haven’t told anyone…” Mina whispered. “I don’t plan on telling anyone either.” She frowned. Her eyes landed to her lap, not wanting to even look at her. She felt horrible. Horrible for everything. Yes, Jeongyeon was divorced… But still. Sana was obviously still hung up on her. Still loved her. And she didn’t know what would happen if she had told her what was going on.
“You don’t plan on telling anyone?” Jeongyeon asked, shocked that she had said such a thing.
“Why would I? I think the only people I would tell is my boss and the two girls I take care of in the apartment now.” Mina shrugged her shoulders, knowing that she really had no one to tell.
“And Sana doesn’t know?” She whispered.
“No. She’s too busy… I’ve been watching Tzuyu for her… It’s not great.” She explained. “Tzuyu’s been calling me mom… That’s how bad it’s been.” She added. Jeongyeon let out a small groan, not liking what she was hearing at all.
“She hasn’t been drinking… Right?” Jeongyeon asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
“I don’t think so…” Mina frowned.
“Good, good…” Jeongyeon sighed.
The two sat in silence for a few moments, Jeongyeon looking at her phone while Mina looked down at her lap. She didn’t want to be in this situation again.. But at least this time she was being taken care of slightly. Being a nanny to someone so rich and powerful… Really made a difference.
“I.. I know it’s early… But do you plan on keeping it?” Jeongyeon asked quietly.
“I…” Mina stopped in her tracks, unsure on what her next step would be. She had already given up one child… Yes, she was able to see her still, but when she got older? Was she going to want to see her? To know the truth?
“You don’t have to answer now… But… I… I just want to know when you decide..” Jeongyeon stated. “But if you do keep it… At least for now, I’ll help. Everything is going to be expensive.” She muttered.
“You don’t have to.” Mina frowned, recalling the days where Nayeon would pay for everything.
“Mina, this is my kid too.” Jeo
