The ride on the uber with Sojung was awkwardly quiet.

The older, after some convincing, had accepted Eunbi's help, with both agreeing that they'll be within their most productive state back at the office.

That was all good information at the time, and apart from a few questions that followed within their short conversation, the continuing silence that had familiarised itself so much for the two made the younger of the both to find solitude and amusement watching the moving buildings pass by through her window, whilst all the more, doing her best not to feel too self-conscious around the presence of the CEO. 

Twenty minutes in, however, the familiar city buildings she had grown so used to, starts slowly changing into residential ones... and before she knew it, the car had already passed the area in which Aphrodite's Fashion was meant to be located... Causing quite a few new questions to arise within the shorter's brain. 

"Aren't we going to the company's building?" Eunbi finally breaks their long-winded silence, turning over to look at Sojung who, unsurprisingly, was also staring out the window on her side.

"No, we'll be going to my personal office. "

"Personal Office?" Now that was news to Eunbi...

"I don't do all my deeds within the company you know" The blonde's heart jolts a beat as the other turned her head towards Eunbi's direction to answer, allowing the city lights to illuminate all her stunning, yet prominent facial features.

Snapping away from their millisecond of eye contact. Eunbi forced herself to stare straight ahead as she counted down the remaining seconds of their uber ride.

Because the secretary isn't oblivious to how the world tends to work, she had a feeling that properties owned by any successful CEO would definitely be on the higher-end of things as houses would go.

To put it bluntly, 

Eunbi expected a mansion, so she really wasn't that surprised to see one once they pulled up into a very long driveway... However, the process that followed after getting out of the car, leaned towards a direction away from any of her personal expectations. 

For one, the building itself is extremely high tech, instead of a normal front door lock, the main entrance is installed with a hand-print recognition lock system, that did wonders to amaze Eunbi as she watched Sowon placed her hand on the pad to open up the door.

The shorter couldn't quite tell you how she imagined the interior to be, but one word that definitely fits Sojung's home was...

empty...

Well sort of.

The essentials were still there and they were definitely not shy in showing off that a couple of grand had been spent on them... but despite the quality and expense, the atmosphere of the place just felt like it was copy and pasted straight from Pinterest.... that is, if someone was to type in "Generic room with big space" within the search bar of that site. 

The colour white was completely marred throughout the rooms, from the walls to the ceiling. There is a chandelier that hung above the living room which was decorated with a long black leather couch located directing in front of a 100-inch television. There were intricate statues as well, placed orderly around the rooms as if it was all in an attempt to fill up empty space...

Maybe it was all a misinterpreted thought, but the house just reflected loneliness to Eunbi and she can't help but honestly wonder if that's a reflection of how Sojung's been feeling lately...

Nonetheless, she didn't say anything and just blindly followed the CEO to what she would assume is her office... only to be surprised at the sight of...

"A bar?"

"Just my secret indulgence" Sojung humored, setting her bag down on the countertop before picking up the half-empty wine bottle already placed on the surface. "Study rooms get boring if you're anything like me and sit in one for 10 hours a day. At home, I usually prefer a different environment" The older continued to explain, all the while pouring herself a glass of wine, as she does so.

"Or maybe it's because you just want to be closer to your sauvignon blanc"

"Heh" Sojung snickers "Maybe. But it's good wine." She takes out another glass and holds it up to Eunbi "Want some?"

"I don't drink"

"That's probably for the better" Setting the glass down before taking a sip from her own, the taller sits in front of the counter and pulls out her work tablet. "I've sent you the files already, I believe you still have your laptop on you isn't that right? Do you mind printing out the papers for me? My office is just straight ahead" She points directly in front of her with Eunbi's head following her lead. "There's no passwords or anything and the machine should already be on."

"Alright.. I'll get right to it.."

Without a second thought, the secretary followed her boss' instructions immediately, entering the study room just as the other had asked, and oh boy... was it a site, compared to what she had seen earlier.

As expected of the CEO from the fashion district, the room was filled with design ideas, pinned up onto a corkboard just above her desk. Papers and books all neatly placed in a pile... as well as noble awards... too many awards tucked away behind a glass display.

Yeah, alright Sojung was definitely an elite in her sector indeed. 

Everything was neat and tidy with an oak wood bookshelf, matching colour desk, white carpet, and a very nice Apple computer. The room just screamed professionalism... yet there was also a dash of playfulness scattered throughout the room, decorated with interpretative paintings, personal pictures, and a variety of colourful potted flowers and succulents placed on the wall shelf unit above the desk. 

Eunbi wasn't entirely sure how well the room reflected Sojung's personality per se... or what had been shown to her anyway... however, she will say this. There is no doubt in her mind, that this office was decorated by Sojung... at least it was more obvious than what she had seen outside...
