The woman who wasn’t even supposed to be here, but instead had cut off Eunbi’s interviewer and took their spot right amidst the middle of her job interview...

The woman who Eunbi also happened to accidentally bump into this morning and spill coffee on...

Kim Sojung... the most beautiful woman Jung Eunbi had ever laid eyes on... but in turn... will be the most terrifying woman she’ll ever have to speak to.

Flipping through Eunbi’s resume, each tap of the finger Sojung did on the table sent an unexplainable shiver down the shorter girl’s back.

Any confidence she had before this was thrown out the window and this extended silence that just so happened to be taking place right now really doesn’t help either.

She wonders, so desperately at this moment, if she should break the silence and apologise for the coffee this morning-

“Jung Eunbi” Sojung cuts through Eunbi’s thoughts, her calm yet authoritarian voice made the hairs on the back of the shorter girl’s neck stand.

“Y-yes?” Her voice had come out more meek than she wanted it to be.

“I can see you have quite the fruitful resume, having been an intern at many companies, smaller companies. Yet none of these positions come close to the position you are applying for today. It does make me curious to why you think you are suitable for this role”

This role?

Right... that was why Eunbi was here after all.

It was for another internship on top of all her others.

Having not found her passion in an occupation just yet, Jung Eunbi has taken each internship quite seriously in hopes of one day to find a full time job in an industry she will love.

With that said though, each internship seems to always be the same... the intern label has set her in the back lane.

Fetching coffee for her seniors, merely editing finished reports and following and observing other employees on their daily tasks.

Honestly, even if Eunbi had seemingly found interest in an industry, those “job task” she was made to do, definitely did not do much to develop it. She had a lot more to offer and she knows this.

Which brings us to why she’s here today..

A company that can finally offer something new to Eunbi as an intern...

But with that said, an intern position is still an intern position... so why is it for such a small role... the CEO of the company had to be the one to interview her?

Looking at The said CEO’s face though, she realises she had taken too long to answer the question.

CEO or not, this is still a professional interview and the show must go on.

“It’s true, although the company’s I’ve worked at aren’t exactly like yours, however, you can also see that not one company written on there is exactly alike. I’ve always been someone who believed in learning and working on new things. I think that's how we can develop our passion and ourselves fully. With that said, I’ve always had an interest in fashion, I even went to college to study design-

“But according to the dates written here, it doesn’t seem like you finished that degree, or college for that matter”

“Well no... but-“

“You also seem to jump around between industries too, from IT to marketing and customer support to journalism. How do I know this role isn’t just another one for you to bypass?”

Bypass? Eunbi doesn’t even understand why she would even say that? Isn’t this an internship position after all?

“We take all our employment seriously” Sojung continued “every individual working under us must make a satisfactory contribution, even the interns, otherwise this company wouldn’t be where it is today. If we were to shortlist you, I need to know you’re completely committed to not only this industry but to this company, that you’ll give it your all every single day, because unlike the others, this internship will be very hands on.”
