Naeun was not feeling well, it served as a reason for her not go to the office. Since when she heard that Taemin is planning to get engaged with Sulli, Naeun was broken, 'Did he again play with my feelings? Or Did I mistake his help?' These were the thoughts that were running inside her head. Mrs.Son took care of her and tries to cheer her up but nothing was successful.   Saeeun was also not happy; her sister's sudden sadness makes her get scared. All her hard work didn't get fail, Naeun has cleared her exam, and she got in with a scholarship to the London School of Arts. It served as a proper reason for Naeun to run away from her place.   "Is this scholarship was the only reason for you to quit the job, Naeun-ah?" Jaehyo asked Naeun when he saw her after she comes out of the CEO's office, submitting her resignation letter.   "Hmmm," Naeun said with her head hung low.   Jaehyo don't have words to say to her, he felt bad for her, and he can see her sufferings. He was sure that Taemin's decision has highly affected her. When Jaehyo heard about Taemin's plan he got angry so, he asked him but he didn't reply properly that made him get angrier at Taemin. Seeing Naeun's suffering, gave Jaehyo more pain and angry on himself for easily give up on Naeun before knowing Taemin's true intention on her and Jaehyo decided not to forgive Taemin. "Hope you do well in your studies, Need any help don't hesitate to ask me. I'm there for you always" Naeun looked at him, nodded at him before leaving the place.   When she came down, Naeun saw Kai pleading to Krystal for which Krystal saying no. A smile formed on Naeun's face as she remembers them fighting in school but now crazily fallen in love with each other.   "Krystal, why do you do this to me?" Kai asked in his aegyo voice.   "Andwae, eomonim will get angry, if she knows," Krystal said and tried to move away but Kai stopped.   "It is just a movie. How will she know, let's go?" Kai again pleaded. Krystal shook her head, "I finished all my work, just to go for a movie with you, let's go" he pleaded.   "Andwae, abeonim also told not go out a lot, so let's go not go out" she again tried to move but Kai blocked her way.   "So you are not going to come out with me?" Kai asked with his hands on his hip, Krystal nodded. "What else you are going to do leaving your boyfriend alone?" He demanded.   Krystal saw Naeun looking at them, she ran to Naeun, "Today is Naeunnie's last day in the office so I'm going out with her, so I won't come with you" she replied to Kai. He showed a pout face to Naeun which made her chuckled. Kwonho came there seeing Kai talking with the girls.   "Kwonho-ah, are you coming with us to the movie?" Naeun asked him, Krystal frowned, "Me and Krystal going, you can also join us." Naeun said and looked at Krystal who is now looked at her with hands crossed on the chest, "You can ask your friends also to get join with us" Naeun continued and looked at Kai who is smiling.   "Dae, Kwonho-ah always go out without leaving me behind," Kai said as he puts his hand around Kwonho and smirked at Krystal.   "Then let's go for a movie," Naeun said in a bright tone which earns her a hard hit on her shoulder from Krystal.   "Stop it...let's go" Kai grabbed Krystal's hand and came out. Naeun, who was completely down thought she can feel better if she spends time with her friends but she realized that it is completely a wrong idea when she saw Taemin and Sulli in the theatre.   Everybody noticed Naeun's smile vanished completely when she saw Taemin and Sulli. They both also saw Naeun and others, Taemin waved at the boys but no one responded to him. Kai and Krystal turned away without showing any response. Kai was completely in shock when his eomma told about Taemin and Sulli when Kim's gathered for dinner. Kai even argued that Taemin doesn't love Sulli. But they asked him for the reason for Taemin's decision which Kai himself don't know. So he went and asked Taemin for his sudden decision.   "I was dating Sulli, so now I want to get engaged with her" Taemin said in low voice.   "Yah Lee Taemin, if you want to get engaged with who all you dated then there are so many girls you have to get engaged with...it all mattered who you like...you like Son Naeun," Kai said after he catches Taemin's collar in angry.   But Taemin said the same thing to Kai again and again, "I like Sulli, so I'm getting engaged with her" His same reply made Kai get angrier and from then, he didn't talk with Taemin. Through Kai, Krystal came to know about Taemin's decision. She got shocked and disappointed because after Naeun said her about how Taemin was with her while she was working alone with Joon Young that evening; Krystal got high hopes that this time they will be fine. But it was not like how she thought, so she wonders why Taemin took this decision and worried for Naeun.   Kwonho always wanted Taemin to be good and sincere to Sulli, but his idea got changed when he realized Taemin's real feelings for Naeun. He hoped that Taemin will soon express his feelings to Naeun but Taemin did the other way. Even he explained to Taemin after Jung Shin fought with him, but Taemin was so adamant in his decision which made Kwonho get disappointment in him.   Taemin looked at Naeun who is pretending like she didn't see him. Taemin noticed Naeun looked weak and dull, she looks different now from the last time he saw her in the office. Before Taemin could come near them, everyone moved away.   Naeun didn't concentrate on the movie, picture of Taemin and Sulli runs inside her head. After the movie, Kai pulled Krystal to go for dinner alone even after she said no. While Sulli was on the call, Taemin's eyes found Naeun who is standing with Kwonho laughing as they were watching Kai pulling Krystal out. Taemin got jolt up when he saw a guy dashing Naeun and the coffee which she was holding, spill on her tight jeans. Kwonho quickly moved to get tissues for her.   Taemin immediately got angry and quickly responded when he saw the same guy who dashed Naeun before, d her as he walks behind her again when she was cleaning the coffee from her dress.   "Yahhh...you..." Taemin shouted and ran to him and punched that guy's face, "How dare you do that?" he shouted and again punched that guy. Naeun, who was in shock after what that guy did to her, was now got even more shocked when Taemin gave a sudden appearance there and indulge in a fight with that guy.   "Taemin...Taemin...stop...stop fighting..." Naeun tried to stop Taemin who is still fighting with the guy. He grabbed the guy's shirt and landed his fits a few times on his face. That guy hit him back, even though Taemin defended him one or two times he got hit on his face. Few people stepped in to stop the fight while Naeun pulling Taemin out from there but still Taemin's angry didn't get down, moves forward to fight. Using all her strength Naeun pulled Taemin out from there and pushed him inside the cab.   "What were you doing? Why do you have to fight with him?" Naeun asked him in angry but he didn't reply and still, his face is red and his lips shiver in angry. She moved to take a look at his hand and face but he turned away. "Wae?" she shouted but then also he didn't reply to her. His cheeks have red burns and his lips got cuts at the corner.   Naeun quickly rushed to get the first aid box from the kitchen after they arrived at Taemin's room. She quickly sat next to him in the bed to do first aid but this time also he turned away.   "You got hurt...Let me apply medicine to you..." she said but he turned away again.   "Wae? Why are you doing this? Why do you get this much angry?" she shouted in angry, "Talk to me...why this much angry? Fighting like a rogue" she shouted more in angry when he didn't respond to her.   "How can I not get angry when he does like that to you, Naeun-ah?" Taemin shouted back. Naeun's shoulder dropped down, "I can't be standing still when a bad happens to you," he said in a low voice after he cups her face.   "Wae?" she asked in watery eyes.   "Because you are my Naeun-ah, you are mine...mine..." he replied. Their eyes met each other, his eyes filled with sincere, tears rolled down from her eyes. He moved forward and crashed his lips on hers. Naeun didn't expect it and tried to protest but his hold on her neck was tight and he brought his right hand around her waist to pull her closer. Taemin poured down all his feelings and longings into the kiss. As his lips move on hers, Naeun's lips betrayed her and started responding to him. There were many days after their metro incident, Naeun tried stopping herself to remember their first kiss and sometimes she stops the thoughts of happening it again. Today it happened, the kiss she dreamt of but Naeun wanted to protest as she gets it at the wrong time, she couldn't because as he pulls her closer and closer they kissed like there is no tomorrow. Taemin can feel her love for him in that kiss, but he has to pull away when Naeun started crying.   "Naeun-ah..." She leans forward to his shoulders and started crying even more. Taemin hugged and rubs her back to calm her.   "Naeun-ah, I'm sorry...don't cry...Let me solve everything..."   Taemin can feel her shaking her head on his shoulders, "No...Don't do anything..." she said as she cries.   "Listen to me..." he tried to explain but she interrupted him again.   "I don't want...I don't want to come between you both..." she said between her sobs and hit his chest with her fist.   "Naeun-ah...It is not..." he pulled her away and forced to look at him, "It is not like you think...it is always you Naeun-ah...I love you..." He said.   "No...Don't say that..." She started crying.   "But that is true..."   "You are making me a bad person"   "Naeun-ah please, listen..."   "No..." She interrupted him; she was not ready to listen to him. Naeun feels guilty that she comes between him and Sulli so, she refuses to hear when Taemin tries to explain her. She stood up, "Forget what happened now..." she ran away before Taemin could get her.   She stopped her way when she saw Kwonho standing downstairs who was waiting for her to come out after talking with Taemin. Before Kwonho could talk, she walked away.   Taemin was crying when Kwonho came inside. He sat next to Taemin on the bed.   "Before you said to me that you will be good to Sulli" Kwonho broke the silence in the room. Taemin looked at him, "But now you want to leave her after giving high hopes to her" Kwonho said. Taemin didn't reply, "Taemin-ah, it is too late you felt your feelings for Naeun-ah, it is too late you said that to her. That too late, has cost you too much. Just move on. Both of you will be fine," he said. Taemin doesn't have words to reply.   Naeun managed to reach home before her tears burst out. She ran to her bed and buried her face in her pillow before Saeeun could react to her red face when she entered the house.   "Unnie, what happened?" Saeeun asked in a panic, "Tell me why you are crying? Why? Please..." Their parents were not at home, so Saeeun got scared of her sister's behaviour. Naeun didn't reply, still crying even though Saeeun was asking for a reason.   "Naeun-ah..." Saeeun stood up when she heard Krystal's voice, "Krystal unnie..." she ran out of the room to meet her in the living room, "Naeunnie unnie is crying... She is not saying the reason..."   "I know..." Krystal said to her as they enter the room, "Naeun-ah, what happened?" Krystal asked her.   "How do you know unnie is crying?" Saeeun asked Krystal.   "Kwonho-ah called me to meet Naeun-ah, that's why I came..." she replied.   "Unnie...eomma appa are not home...why do you cry like this? I'm scared...tell us the reason..." Saeeun asked Naeun in panic.   "Naeun-ah..." Krystal forcefully made Naeun sit, "Tell us what happened?" She pleaded Naeun.   "This Taemin...why he is doing like this...why...why is he makes me a bad person..." she replied between her sobs. Both Krystal and Saeeun made a big gulp in nervous, "Why he says he loves me when he is about to get engaged with Sulli...Why he is so confused...Why he is always playing with my feelings...Why he is always breaking my heart..." she finished saying all her thoughts to them and then again started crying after she covers her face with her palm.   "Unnie..." Naeun looked up at Saeeun who was calling her nervously, "I'm sorry unnie...I'm sorry..." Naeun looked confused. "Oppa came to meet you but I told him what appa told to his eomma and sent him away," Saeeun said in low voice.   "What Appa told to his eomma?" Naeun asked her in a confused.   "Appa said no to his eomma's marriage proposal. So when he said he loves you, I told him that it will cause problems for our family." Naeun looked angry, "Because of his old behaviour...I...I told him that he is...bad for you..." Saeeun said with watery eyes.   "You too..." Naeun now tuned to Krystal in shock. "Naeun-ah..." Krystal looked as nervous as Saeeun.   "What did you say to him?" Naeun asked her in a cold tone.   "I also said he is bad for you...that's why he stopped talking to you...after that, he got more friendly with Sulli to avoid you..." Krystal said in nervous. Naeun was silent that scared both Krystal and Saeeun.   "Naeun-ah...I'm sorry...after looking at all these...he is sincere to you..." Krystal moved forward to Naeun, "It's like we did wrong" she said and tried to hold her hand but Naeun pulled away, "Then why did you do this to me?" Naeun asked her in a cold tone. Krystal looked at her.   "Then why did you do this to me?" She shouted, "Why are you making me suffer more? Now Taemin is gone from my life...Are you happy?" she shouted at both.   "Not like that unnie..."   "No Naeun-ah, listen..."   "Are you both still not happy? Go away from here...go away..." she screamed and threw the book at them which was near to her. Krystal and Saeeun were in shock at Naeun's reaction and didn't have any other options other than leaving Naeun alone. They were not upset with her and understood that Naeun will understand the reason why they did that after she calms down. They can hear Naeun crying even after the door is closed.   Krystal stayed there with Saeeun till Mrs.&Mr.Son comes home. Both Krystal and Saeeun told Mrs.Son that Naeun was upset because she has submitted her resignation letter in the office. Krystal waited for a chance to talk with Naeun but she didn't open the door.   In the following days, Mrs.Son noticed Naeun's cold behaviour towards Saeeun, always wanted to be alone in her room and she barely eats her food. That made Mrs.Son to get worried about her. After knowing Naeun still didn't eat her lunch, her eomma came to the room. She saw her sitting on the bed with her knees close to her chest. Mrs.Son let a sigh and went near her with a smile.   "Naeun-ah" she called her and sat at the edge of the bed. She patted her lap when Naeun looked at her. Soon Naeun lies down her head on her eomma lap.   "What happened to my aegi?" Mrs.Son asked Naeun softly as she caresses her hair. Naeun didn't reply to her.   "Do you want to say to eomma?" She asked after a moment of silence. This time also Naeun didn't reply to her. Naeun has never hidden anything from her eomma. "Aigo...aegi...you are going after your dreams...you should be happy for it...eomma appa will be even happier when you achieve all your dreams...be happy..." she replied in a cheerful voice to encourage her. Naeun again nodded with tears that are still threatening to fall.   "What did Saeeun-ah did this time?" Mrs.Son asked her softly after a moment of silence. Naeun didn't reply to her but moved a little closer to her. Mrs.Son knows very well that from childhood, Naeun easily forgives and give up on her sister Saeeun's mistakes but this time Naeun was not easy to Saeeun, so she can understand that her younger daughter has done something that makes Naeun really get upset. Naeun also can understand why Saeeun and Krystal have spoken to Taemin like that, to protect her but still, she couldn't accept it because of the aftermath that happened, she still needs some time to calm herself down. Saeeun and Krystal also worried for Naeun and felt bad that they fail to consider Naeun's feeling and Taemin's true intention before talking to Taemin.   Mrs.Lee no longer wants Taemin to be alone so, she called him back home and this time Mrs.Lee didn't consider her husband's opinion. She thought she can know Taemin's true intention of this engagement if he is near to her. Taemin supposes to be happy about returning home but he was not. The first thing that caught his eyes as soon as he enters his room was snowball which was gifted by Naeun for his birthday. He sat on his bed and took that snowball in his hand and shook it, a smile formed on his face. That dog inside the ball reminds him of Snowball, their pet. He realised that it's been a long time he saw Snowball. It didn't remind him only Snowball but also Naeun. The last time he saw Naeun was going out of his room as she cries. So he took his mobile and tried to contact her. As usual, it was switched off. Every day he tried to call which doesn't get connected and sent a lot of text messages which doesn't get delivered. He called Krystal to know about Naeun but her reply made him more disappointment.   "Taemin-ah, she is upset over me. I told her what I said to you. Even Saeeun-ah confessed what she said to you. So she stopped talking to us. Even I tried to contact her but she didn't talk with me." Krystal told him. Taemin understood that Naeun must be broken because everyone around had done something that hurts her thinking they are doing good to her just like him.   Before Taemin couldn't find a way to meet Naeun and Mrs.Lee could talk to Taemin, Sulli informed that her brother Choi Minho is coming to Seoul.
