"You're moving in with SinB-ah!?" Sowon was basically yelling, I covered my ears to avoid ruptured eardrums.

"Yes, yes."

"I thought I told you not to move too fast. Moving in with her is the definition of too fast!" She rubbed her temples, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Actually, it was SinB-ah who asked me." The expression previously on Sowon's face disappeared, being replaced by a look of surprise or confusion–I wasn't entirely sure.

"SinB-ah...asked you?" Now it was my turn to be confused, was it so weird for her to invite me to move in? I get moving too fast, but I still didn't understand.

"Uh...hold on." At that point, Sowon pulled out her phone and started dialing a number. The confusion only festered in me, surfacing above that now was concern.

"Is everything okay?" She nodded.

"Hey, Eunha-yah? This is about 'that' thing." While on the phone, she looked at me with a smile and walked away, motioning that she would be a few minutes. Left was I, sitting with a lukewarm coffee. I stared out the window and sighed while my thoughts began to wander. What is 'that' thing? Is there something else that I don't know? And why won't Sowon eonnie tell me? SinB-ah is my girlfriend, don't I have a right to know? Maybe I'm just overthinking.  Sowon eventually made her way back, no longer on the phone.

"So, what'd you talk about with Eunha-yah?" I asked.

"Oh..Uh.." She scratched her head like she was searching for the words. That didn't help my concern at all.

"The last time SinB-ah asked someone to move in with her...it didn't end well. She ended up never speaking to him after that."

"She didn't tell me anything about that."

"Probably because..." Sowon began rubbing at the back of her neck, causing another fear down my spine. "he confessed his love for her." My body went tense from Sowon's last phrase, and that's when the seed of envy was planted into my core.

"Thank you, eonnie." drip. Looking down to see the cause of the sound, I realized I'd squeezed out the contents of my beverage that was now leaking onto the floor. Without a word, Sowon got up, and quickly came back with a plethora of napkins, handing them to me.

"Don't start worrying, you both care deeply for one another; there's nothing to be concerned with." Sowon answered as if she could tell I was worrying. No matter how much I understood that fact and agreed with Sowon that there was nothing to worry about–as soon as it manifests, the envy is hard to shake.

"Yeah, I won't let it get to me." I quickly and quietly cleaned up the floor and table, bowing to Sowon afterward.

"It was fun, eonnie, but if I don't leave now, I'll be late for dinner!" All I could hear was Sowon's laugh as I left the cafe. I really wished the envy wouldn't fester–like Sowon said, there was nothing to worry about. SinB didn't even continue talking to him–so why did it bother me so much? My drive home was quick, I'd already talked to my landlord about the move. I'd have to keep a low profile for a little while in my new home, but I didn't mind.

In front of the apartment was someone I had a feeling I wouldn't like very much. But I put on a brave face as I exited the vehicle, smiling as I usually did. Before I could get a chance to introduce myself, SinB was coming out of the apartment, scolding him, but then hugging him. I had half a mind of leaving them be, but I decided to brace myself and head over to them anyway, bowing to the guest.

"Hello." All that happened during my introduction was getting a weird look from SinB. Should I not be here? Oh god. Calm down, it's fine. She rolled her eyes and looked at the man with a wide smile.

"I'll just take my leave then, so sorry for bothering you." But before I could exit, SinB grabbed my arm to prevent me.

"Make up your mind SinB-ah, do you want me here or not?" She didn't say anything; however, I could feel her eyes on me. I turned to look at her and laughed at how soft she looked. The softness left immediately as I started laughing–replaced by a scowl.

"This is my older brother." Immediately, I turned to him and bowed again, internally punishing myself for getting jealous.

"I-I'm Yerin, SinB-ah's-" SinB kicked my leg, making me yelp. I looked at her, but she only continued to smile at her older brother.

"I'm Yerin, it's w

Chapter 31: My oh my. What an ending this is. 30 days of bliss and an eternity of other emotions? That’s an interesting way to look at it to be honest. It’s how Yerin wants SinB to live her life fulfillingly and I think that’s beautiful regardless. I don’t know how to feel about Yerin lmao. Still. Seeing how SinB is, it’s nice. Love prevails!
