it was a monday, which is not a good start for many people since it was called 'monday blues', 

but not for wendy. 

she went to the twenty-four hours convenience store just to buy seven packs of good old original flavored pepero. she sacrifices her money that she was collecting just for that day! 

which is.... pepero day! 

pepero day is is held annually on november 11, and is an observance in south korea similar to valentine's day. It involves the gifting or exchange of pepero, with the intention of displaying affection for friends and loved ones.

so, wendy's plan for that day were...... 

to give her ultimate crush, irene unnie the pepero. 

irene was wendy's old by one year senior, and was the popular student in their all girls school because she was.... is.... ethereal. 

flawless, white porcelain skin that makes everyone envy her. 

her perfect s-line body. 

everyone envies her and everyone wants to be her girlfriend. 

wendy was (obviously) one of them.

break time. 

"woah! is that for me?" seulgi, her bestest friend in the whole universe was in shock after seeing wendy puts the pepero on her table. 

"sorry but there's only two for you, because you have got so many pepero in your table now."

seulgi gave her eye smile, laughed sheepishly. "well...you got a lot, too! don't pretend like you're pitiful," 

seulgi were right. 

wendy, being the high school sweetheart and an athlete, of course got herself some fans that gives at least two peperos each. 

seulgi, being the famous school baseball player and a part time model, of course gained a lot of fans in their school.

"give it to her today. or you'll lose the chance, wan-ah," seulgi told. "i'll be here, eating peperos okay?"

"w-what if she's not..... lean that way, you know? she's totally out of my league!"

seulgi flicked wendy's forehead, making the latter scrunched her face in pain. 

"just go, you coward. you'll never know until you do it. let's bet!"

wendy lifted her eyebrow. "what's the deal?"

"if you confessed today, i'll buy you that one piece x sketchers shoe."

"are you serious?! i'm saving up for that!" wendy chortled, excited. 

"i am a woman with words, didn't you know that?" seulgi shrugged, not minding to spend her money for her best friend. 

"you sappy. alright."

wendy came to irene's class, which was at the upper floor from wendy's. the class was a first class of the batch, as the students were the smartest in their batch. 

the class, however, a bit noisy, compared to wendy's class. 

irene's table were at the center of the classroom, and has many girls hanging around her table. it seems that the class was brain with beauty. it almost gave wendy a gay panic. 

"calm your fricking gay self, wendy. you don't wanna mess this up." wendy says to herself, before knocking the front door. 

all girls hanging around irene and irene herself turned their heads to the front door. 

wendy hearts beat faster because of that. 

"yes, wendy-ah?" hyeri, one of the school's cheerleader greets her warmingly. 

"i'm..... i'm looking for irene sunbaenim."

suddenly, everyone ooh aah-ed, making wendy blushed.

irene was too, blushing at the word. 

there's no denying that irene has a crush on the younger since last year. irene was fell in love after watching her on the field, running swiftly passed her competitors despite her small body, and became an ace on running. 

irene will accompany her friends on their cheerleader practices, and eyed the attractive wendy. and the two always initiated a light conversation, so they knew each other's existence. 

they were messaging each other few weeks before this, and having that 

irene was too shy to give wendy pepero, but things were going to change. 

yongsun, irene's best friend claps for attention. "okay everyone! let's us give them a space!" with that, everyone (actually only the flock sitting around irene) went out of the class.

wendy walked to irene's table. 

"uh.. h-hi, irene unnie. happy pepero day." wendy slowly handed out the five pack of pepero to the older sitting in front of her. 

"hi, wendy. did you get any peperos today? i bet you did." irene smiled, her smiling face makes wendy's heart beats faster. 

be calm, you gay.

"y-yes, i got plenty. it seems like you too," wendy points at the peperos stacked beside irene's table. it must be from her fans. 

"but all of them are not worthy if one of it isn't from you." irene shrugged.

wendy can't believe what her ear just heard. 

"i'm flattered, irene sunbaenim." wendy chuckled, tried her best to hold herself from hugging the older and kiss her. 

it's now or never, wendy. 

"do you have a boyfriend?" 

that question caught her off. 

"no," irene shook her head. 

"do you like girls?"

"of course! i appreciate the beauty of women," 

"do you wanna go out with me?"

"yeah, sure."

wendy was a bit surprised. 

"wait, that's it?"

"yeah, that's it. i have a crush on you too, wendy."

wendy could jump till the moon at that time. 

"i can't believe it..... just wow." 

"it's that simple, wendy-ah."
