SinB opens her eyes when the rays of sunlight come through the curtains in her room. It takes her a few minutes before she is able to pull herself to a sit, still rubbing her eyes and yawns once or twice, that’s when she realizes that she’s in her bedroom and not on the living room sofa where she last remembered she was at last night. Which means one thing – Sojung comes back home.

SinB quickly goes outside of her bedroom to confirm her assumption. When she walks passes by the living room, that’s when she sees Sojung sleeping, on the sofa she was on last night, in her white linen pyjama. Seeing the latter has always made her happy, this morning makes her the happiest person on earth. SinB walks towards Sojung and positions herself on the wooden floor, leaning her chin on top of the sofa, fixing her gaze on the latter, while her hand, gently playing with Sojung’s strands of hairs that are covering her beautiful face.

She seems to be in her deep sleep, looking calm and mesmerizing as always. It makes SinB wonders, what made she fall in love with Sojung at the first place, how Sojung was able to open SinB’s heart letting her in, what made SinB looking forward to the day with Sojung afterwards but at the same time not wanting the day with the latter to end. When did she become so soft to someone she never thought of loving months ago? Was love always has been this mysterious?

“Eunbi, do you have any plan for the spring break?” Sojung was accompanying SinB who’s trying to complete her painting for the upcoming exhibition when Sojung thought of asking SinB to spend the spring break with her. Their very first spring break being together.

“What if I say yes, I do?” SinB stopped painting and took a peek at Sojung before answering. What Sojung didn’t see was SinB’s little smirk that form on her lips. 

“That’s a bummer” Sojung put down the paint brush she’s holding and turned herself around to face SinB who seemingly unbothered by Sojung’s changed of expression as she continued her painting. Only when silence filled the space between the two, SinB asked, “Why?”

“I- I was thinking of spending the whole spring break with you-” Sojung put her head down, as shyness approached her even closer “Besides, it’s our – you know – our- our first spring being together” Sojung didn’t even know why she stuttered. That wasn’t like her at all. Now where did that confident Sojung went? She can’t even put her face up and look at SinB while saying those words. Touche.

“Where are you going though?” Sojung continues to ask and she became more fidgety waiting for SinB to answer because Sojung knew, there’s no her included.

Looking at the floor, Sojung can see a shadow was coming closer and the inside of her became messier, from the irregular heartbeats, to the overflowing of blood to all directions, to the sensations Sojung felt in herself, when SinB lowered her face, looking for Sojung’s eyes, with that sweet smile, plastered on her lips as she gave Sojung an unexpected answer -

“My spring break is wherever you are”

With that, Sojung was finally able to return the smile she’s gotten. But her sweetness didn’t last long when Sojung suddenly felt something wet and thick on the tips of her nose as SinB laughed and ran away from Sojung who’s still perplexed by SinB’s randomness. Only when Sojung finally regained her sense back, she realized that SinB was just making fun of her and the latter was certainly enjoying it when she succeeded in painting the taller girl – for real though.

“Yahhh, Hwang Eunbi! You get back here, you-” SinB stick her tongue out before Sojung could finish her sentence and it only took a matter of second before the both of them suddenly play run and chase in SinB’s art studio.

From avoiding all the canvas on the floor, to making sure none of her projects got torn apart, to accidentally dropped a paint bucket that was a quarter full with red, SinB was finally secured, safely, in Sojung’s embraced. Both of them were still laughing at each other.

“You really got me there. I’m this close of hoping that spring break will ended faster and now I wanted it to last forever”

“Sorry. You looked cute though and I can’t let that opportunity past. Besides, it’s not always I get to see your not so confident self that I like” SinB chuckled while lightly pinched the tips of Sojung’s nose

Needing her warmth even more, Sojung pulled SinB closer, tightening her hug, as she laid her chin on SinB’s shoulder

“I love you” The three words Sojung was planning on telling SinB
