“Thanks Pup-whee”~Byul said walking away with Solar, grabbing her cruiser’s keys

“Ugh why does everyone call me that”~Wheein mumbled to herself as Byul left

"Ok lets head out"~Moonbyul commanded as the brunette in black followed closely behind

"So what do I call you, operator?"~Solar inquired while her systems began adjusting.

"Well you can start with Detective, operator sounds weird"~Moonbyul said as they reached her police car.

"Well, Detective, being a police officer sure beats being turned off. S.L.R.'s were decommissioned four years ago, as you know."~Solar said, sitting in the passenger seat.

"So what? You're the last S.L.R.?"~Moonbyul questioned as she the ignition and began driving off.

"Not quite, I am one of 3 in left in Seoul. Why am I in this car with you?"~Solar

"I'm required to ride with a synthetic. New station regulations"~Moonbyul

"See I'm not a huge fan of that term. Well judging from my analysis you are twenty four years of age, seventy percent of women like you have settled down already"~Solar retorted making Byul sigh

"Synthetics and their damn numbers."~Moonbyul grumbled

"There's that term again."~Solar said not liking how she was being talked to

"You just said, something like seventy percent."~Moonbyul 

"The actual statistic is seventy two point six, but I'm running my basic language routine, so I express most data through conversation, detective."~Solar said as her pupils and retinas began to glow a slightly blue hue

"Terrific."~Moonbyul reluctantly sighed

"So, I have been searching through the police database for information you but it ends about six months ago. Also who is this Seulgi that keeps popping up in reports?"~Solar questioned as her eyes went back to normal

"Okay stop, that's enough, all right? Um... synth off."~Moonbyul commanded at a very confused Solar

"Synth off? Does that mean you want me to be quiet?"~Solar pondered 

"Yeah, whatever the mode is for you to be quiet, just do that."~Moonbyul instructed

"Detective, I can be quiet. You can just ask."~Solar said as the car made a full stop. They reached their destination. A big delivery truck can be seen toppled over on it's side. Two other people can be seen inspecting the crime scene as well. Moonbyul gets out of the car as Solar follows behind closely.

"Scan complete: Truck belongs to a private lab run by RBW industries, company specializing in DNA research. According to the manager, they were transporting vials of single-strand synthetic. Programmable DNA."~Solar said while Moonbyul started combing around the area. One of the two people walked over revealing herself to be Officer JooE.

"Detective, Officer JooE reporting for duty. Pleasure to meet you."~The perky blonde said bowing to Moonbyul

"Thank You, you and your synth are dismissed, I'll take over here."~Moonbyul said as JooE nodded

“I’m going back on patrol then”~JooE exclaimed as she went to fetch her synth partner.

"Okay Solar, so tell me what you got on programmable DNA."~Moonbyul said as she took out a pair of sunglasses. 

"Programmable DNA can be used to trigger the process of tissue creation. For example, to grow sets of organs in humans, possibly for harvest."~Solar said as her eyes glowed blue

"Hm, What else was taken?"~Moonbyul said putting on glasses, her vision became enhanced as a heads up display appeared and began notifying her of the surroundings

"50 gallons of nitro chloric acid, 20 cases of ethanol, 15 units of diethyl ether, and some methyamine."~Solar said as her eyes returned to normal.

"Seems very weird, to steal all these specific items, is there a correlation with mixing them"~Moonbyul asked as she checked the truck.

"A certain combination of these chemicals make Methamphetamine, but that excludes the acid. No reasonable combination can be reached currently"~Solar said, while Moonbyul cursed under her breath. 

For the next hour they began trying to find any leads in the surrounding area. As the two began deducing and investigating, an alarm in Moonbyul's car sounded. The girls ran over to the vehicle and clicked the dashboard radio. A feminine voice spoke to them. "OFFICER JooE is under fire in the red light district." 

"Detective, thats 5 blocks away"~Solar said as Moonbyul nodded. They hopped into the police cruiser and hurried to the district. Eveything became a blur at the speed Byul drove. They reached JooE's location and what a sight it was. JooE's police car was completely overturned, and her synth was completely destroyed. As Byul began looking around the wreckage, Solar inspected the destroyed synth's arm.

"So these are the models that replaced me? Seems ineffective not to have a platinum plated skeleton."~Solar said searching around the destroyed police car.

"Probably cut down on costs......."~Moonbyul said looking around for JooE, a gunshot echoes making her jump and run towards the sound.

An man in a red jacket could be seen crawling away. Moonbyul hurried over to him before looking at his jacket, seeing the words “JYP” labeled on his shoulder, he was a gang member. She pulled out her gun and placed it against his head.

"Where's officer JooE?! Where's the rest of you?!"~Moonbyul screamed as Solar walked over.

"They left me......"~The man said before he passed out.

"Detective he has multiple contusions, a bullet wound under his ear and injuries to his rib cage, we must bring him to the precinct for questioning, interrogating him here is ill advised"~Solar said as Moonbyul agreed. They cuffed him and threw him in the police cruiser. After an hour of semantics, they finally got him in an interrogation room in the police station. Moonbyul and Solar stood on the other side of the one way glass staring at the man handcuffed to the table.

"Suspect's Name is Jackson Wang, nothing much on him besides he has affiliations with the JYP gang"~Solar said as Moonbyul walked into the interrogation room.

"So your gang kills four security guards to rob a RBW truck. Now you've taken a cop. Where is she?!?!"~Moonbyul questions as Jackson said nothing, he just stared at the table

"Now, what are you doing with programmable DNA? What's the ethanol for?!?!”~Byul exclaimed to a silent Jackson.

“Oh, look, suspect has a scratch above his eye."~Moonbyul said walking behind Jackson.

"Wait what....."~Jackson said right before Moonbyul slammed his head into the table, scratching him above his eye.

"I have no idea how he got that. Better add it, and get ready to write down missing teeth."~Moonbyul said winding up a punch before Solar caught her arm

"There are other ways, Detective. No need for unecessary violence"~Solar said letting go of Byul's arm

"I'm questioning this man, okay, not you. Now back to....."~Moonbyul said as Solar pushed her out of the way. Solar's eyes glowed again and began scanning Jackson up and down looking for something, right before she sat down in the chair opposite him. Looking closely she noticed his injured ear and the way he was sitting.

"You tried to shoot yourself after you were left behind. Perhaps it was a bit crazy earlier, maybe Dr. Wheein even missed it, but the trajectory of the bullet that hit you, the burn marks on your flesh--basically there's no chance that you were hit by a bullet from any gun but your own. You had to be holding the gun yourself"~Solar said as Jackson sat speechless trying to avoid Moonbyul's gaze

"Is that true? You tried shooting yourself after they left you?"~Moonbyul said pulling up a chair next to Solar 

"You don't know the people I work for."~Jackson said in a tembling voice

"Trust me, I do."~Moonbyul

"After I was left behind I needed away out from them any way I could because there's no getting away from them. But I messed up"~Jackson uttered rubbing his fingers together

"Look, we can help you, we can keep you safe, but you need to give us information."~Moonbyul

"No, I'm not safe anywhere, not even here."~Jackson

"We'll put you in a secure location under guard. No one will find you, but you need to talk."~Solar said in an almost melodic tone

"I need to be somewhere safe."~Jackson

"Then, where's officer JooE? Where did they take her?"~Moonbyul asked putting both her hands on the table. The room fell silent as Jackson began looking down, talking to himself, weighing his options until he finally looked back at the two

"192 Seowon, Apartment 6."~Jackson hesitantly confessed.
