Update in honor of Love Shot which is addictive af.

“So what’s the plan?” Krystal whispered conspiratorially over coffee the next morning.

Suho and Chanyeol were busy with flipping pancakes and frying eggs.

Baekhyun and Hayan shared a look.

“We lay low for a few days and see whether any more Blue Dragon members come after us,” Baekhyun shrugged.

“What?” Krystal balked. “So we’re just sitting ducks?”

Hayan frowned. “You can’t escape the Blue Dragons,” she admitted grudgingly. “Kris won’t let me go. But I’ll be damned if I have to spend the rest of my life in hiding.”

“Can’t you turn Kris in to the police? Aren’t they trying to capture the Blue Dragons?” Krystal implored.

“Kris already has half the police force on his side. Any progress the police makes against the Blue Dragons is because he lets them do it. If you try to approach the police about the Blue Dragons, Kris will have captured you in seconds.”

Krystal sighed in defeat.

Baekhyun gave her a firm look. “We’re all on the run, be it from the mafia or the police. But that doesn’t mean we put our lives on pause. Let’s just live and enjoy while we can. If we come close to getting caught, we’ll go into hiding for a few days.”

“I know it’s easy for us to say because this is how we’ve lived life all the time,” Hayan reached for Krystal’s hand to give it a reassuring squeeze. “If you choose to leave, we wouldn’t blame you.”

Krystal looked into the murky depths of her coffee. She shook her head. “No. I’ll stay. I have nothing to go back to anyway.”

“Cholocate chip pancakes,” Chanyeol placed the stack of delectable looking pancakes onto the table. “A la Chanyeol.”

“Thanks Chanyeol,” Baekhyun grinned, picking up a fork to serve himself a pancake.

Before he reached the stack though, another fork stabbed into the pancake.

Kai stuffed the pancake into his mouth and grinned widely. “This is delicious!” he cheered through a mouthful.

Baekhyun grimaced.

Almost immediately after breakfast, Hayan demanded that Baekhyun let her use his phone.

The redhead cocked an eyebrow.

“And why would I do that?” he drawled.

“Because I’ll be saving our lives,” Hayan quipped back, clearly unamused.

Baekhyun gave her a curious look.

Hayan groaned, “Just give it to me.”

Baekhyun reluctantly handed the device over to her. Hayan dialed
