TWENTY-FIVE
The Impossible | CLOSED.“Think you can stay here and I can go to the restroom real quick?” Minho just nods, and Sulli makes her way towards where the restrooms is at. Along the way, Sulli had stopped at the sound of a little boy, who’s uncontrollably crying and wailing at the top of his lungs reaching her ears. The little boy had seemed lost and no one seems to be helping him or caring at all.
That thought pained Sulli, the boy was clearly in distraught after being separated by his companion - whether it be his mom or whoever he was with prior - and seeing the little boy cry had brought her back to when she was similarly around the same age and she had gotten lost too. So at that moment, Sulli decided she doesn’t really need to go to the restroom anymore – helping the little lost boy is more important.
Thankfully, the crying subsided just a bit as the little boy had seemed to have grown tired and was now rubbing his eyes with his little fists. Sulli had by now reached where he was at and slowly approached him though she was a little wary of how his reaction will be.
“Hey buddy. Do you know where you are?” Sulli asks calmly, having a safe distance between the little boy yet still close enough as she bends down to his height. The little boy had then stopped rubbing his eyes and perked up when he heard Sulli’s voice. There were still very few remnants of tears in his eyes and Sulli’s heart just continues to break.
“Yeah...I’m at the fair but...I lost my mommy.” The boy hiccups, his lips in a pout and all Sulli wants to do is to coo at him and hug him, tell him it’s alright.
“Do you remember where you last saw her? How did you get lost?” Sulli continues to ask. The boys hiccups were less frequent but he still had a small pout and Sulli couldn’t help but put melt at how cute he looks with his cheeks puffed out and lips jutted out. It was adorable.
“I remember holding her hand but then...I saw something from a different game booth and then when I turned back, she wasn’t there anymore.” The little boy says as Sulli picks up on his distress once more and she could tell the waterworks were coming again.
“Oh..okay...I see. If you allow me, I can help you find your mommy. Do you want that?” As those words slip out of Sulli, the little boy eye’s started to twinkle. Though a quick moment after, it seemed as if he was caving back in his shell again.
“But mommy said not to go with strangers.” His small eyebrows furrowed a little and Sulli couldn’t contain her small laugh. She was absolutely endeared.
“You’re a good boy, aren’t you? You listen to your mommy very well. Your mommy is right, you should never go strangers but I’m a good stranger because I’m going to help you find your mommy. That’s good right? Though, not all strangers are like me and that also doesn’t mean you should always go with them. I’m just going to help you out, okay?” Sulli smiles, the pout was still on his face and his brows still in a furrow but he seemed to understand .
“Okay.” The little boy nods, smiling just a bit and that’s all Sulli needs.
“Can you tell me your name? I’m Sulli.” She smiles.
“My name is Yoogeun and I’m five years old.” The little boy, Yoogeun, says quite proudly. Sulli beams as she stands up.
“Okay Yoogeunnie, let's go find your mommy.” Sulli says, smiling widely as she stretched out her hand and Yoogeun gladly takes.

“Minho, baby!”
Turning at the sound of the familiar voice, he was surprised to his girlfriend holding hands with a little boy. Minho didn’t expect to see this just yet but he was quite pleasantly surprised to have a thought of how their future would look like.
“Uh...baby, who’s this?” Minho points out as Sulli and Yoogeun reached where they were at. The little boy’s eyes grew big at the sight of someone else . Seeing the little boy up close, Minho seems to as that they were quite close. It was like seeing the younger version of himself but all at the same time, not quite.
“This little boy lost his mommy and I happened to find him crying as I walked towards the restroom. Go ahead introduce yourself – he’s still a little wary but he’s a sweet kid.” Sulli explains, a smile playing on her lips.
“Hi there bud, I’m Minho. I heard you lost your mommy?” Minho bends down to Yoogeun’s height to which the little boy began to hide behind Sulli’s legs. Sulli let out a small laugh, this was so cute.
“”Don’t be scared. I’m just like Sulli. We’ll help you find your mommy. What’s your name, bud?” Minho says, offering him a smile. Yoogeun peaks behind Sulli’s legs, wide eyes but he was also slowing coming out of his cave, slowly gaining some trust towards Minho.
“Yoogeun.” He peeps out, gently and almost a whisper.
“Well what do you say, Yoogeunnie? Let’s go find your mommy, yeah?” The little boy nodded excitedly and Minho couldn’t help but smile wider. Throughout this whole interaction, Sulli was absolutely endeared. It was so adorable
From then on, the trio had walked around the fair, asking Yoogeun if any of them looked familiar or if they were his mom and just asked him general questions. The couple would make jokes here and there, teasing him, to ease the tension and the little boy would laugh.
Soon enough, as they soon walked around the entire fair, a woman started to run towards them, yelling out Yoogeun’s name, whilst holding what seemed to be his prizes. It didn’t take long before Yoogeun had done the same, letting go of both of their hands and running towards the same woman. Thankfully, there wasn’t that much people around where they were at, so Yoogeun ran to her in no trouble.
Once reaching each other, the mother and son duo hugged before Yoogeun told her who helped him out and walked towards Minho and Sulli. As the duo have reached the couple, the mother continuously bowed and said her thanks.
“Thank you so much for finding my little boy. I got so worried and scared when I felt that he wasn’t holding my hand anymore. It was my fault for not paying more attention. I’m sorry if I have troubled you.” The mom says.
“Oh no, it was no trouble at all. I saw him crying profusely and I had to help him. Bringing him back is the least that I can do. So really, it was no trouble. My boyfriend and I enjoyed his company. He’s a lovely kid.” Sulli says, smiling. The mother looks relieved, looks a little less stress free.
“Thank you again. Really.” Yoogeun’s mom bows yet again, smiling this time. Moments later, the mother and son had left but not before Yoogeun could give them both a hug. As they walked away, Yoogeun kept on turning around and waving at the couple to which they have waved back. Both of their hearts melted and they were both so endeared.
“Cute kid.” Minho says, a chuckle leaving his lips as the figure of Yoogeun disappearing with the crowd that was starting to fill.
“He is.” Sulli sighs quite dreamily, a smile leaving her lips.
