“You...love..me?”
The way her eyes wavered as she looked at Minho, lips quivering and heart beating. He looked at her with so much adoration, so much love that it almost pained Sulli. Because after what happened, she doesn’t feel deserving of it. To be loved by someone like Minho..it felt all too good to be true.
“I do. I love you.”
The words slip out of Minho’s mouth quite easily and it made his heart skip a beat because of how much sooner he could have said it and to have been dwelled in such feeling for so long.
“But...how can you love me when I did what I did?”
Sulli was now swimming in confusion in her head. She tilted her head and looked at him as such. Minho despite everything at the moment found it quite cute.
“Because I’ve been taught all my life that love is forgiving. You forgive the ones you love – of course that can go certain lengths. But Sulli, don’t you see? I love you. How many more times do I have to say it for you to see and understand it?”
went agape, her heart pounding more and more. It had gone quiet for a moment – there were things rushing through both of their minds but for Sulli, the loudest thought was of how Minho loves her, how he forgave her.
“Say it again.”
Minho cracks into a small smile as he pulled her in closer again. Their eyes locked onto each other’s before Minho leaned his face closer to hers. Sulli could feel his breath onto her lips and that sent chills down her spine. As she waited for what Minho was gonna say next, her heart pounded louder – harder against her chest and she started to wonder if he can feel it.
“Choi Sulli, I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you.”
Sulli’s breath started to hitch up as those words came out of Minho’s mouth. Before she realized it, Minho had completely taken her breath away as he kissed her on the lips – passionately, affectionately, and fervently. Responding just the same, the kiss grew hotter but Sulli’s heart felt right at home.
Minho pulled her as close as he can get, continuing the kiss as if there’s nothing else. Sulli then pulled her arms up and s it around his neck, pushing him closer. Then her fingers started to find its way to his hair and began to tangle it up.
Sulli didn’t even realize but tears began to drop onto her face. Only when Minho stopped and pulled away, starting to wipe it off her face did she realize that she had been crying.
“Why are you crying?”
“Because….I’m the luckiest girl to be loved by you. To be forgiven for my actions. I don’t feel deserving of it but...you make it as so.”
“I told you, love is forgiving and you forgive those you love.”
“I know.”
“Then, you should also know that you deserve to loved even when you did something as wrong as you did.”
“No...I don’t.”
“Yes...yes you do. Because I’m the one loving you and I vowed to myself that I will give you everything your heart desires.”
“You...really love me?”
“Yes. More than anything.”
Sulli’s eyes held uncertainty. She fears that it won’t last long as they’ve only been officially together for just several months. She fears that it’s still the honeymoon stage of their relationship and if they were to go down the road, it might change.
“What if it changed? What if one day you won’t love me anymore?”
Minho’s shakes his head, “That day won’t ever come. I won’t allow it.”
Silence.
It had gone silent again. Sulli’s mind was running miles again but she has come to one conclusion.
“Can you please say it again? That you love me?”
Minho smiles, he thinks to himself that he won’t ever get tired of saying it.
“I love you. Choi Sulli, I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Then, in that moment, Minho’s world felt complete.
He loves her.
She loves him.
A/n: this a very short chapter today. I wanted to write more but….you know how it goes. lol but anyways, I still hoped that you enjoyed it! The sweet three words of I love you has finally been said. Hehe
Honestly, everything else from here on and out is mostly likely only going up from here! So there’s that to look forward to!!
