Most of the guys and I were all sitting in the living room watching TV. The news wouldn’t shut up about ”BTS sudden disappearance” so it was hard to find something fun to watch. I looked over at the clock and stood up.

– Where are you going? Jungkook asked.

– Imma prepare dinner, I said smiling.

– Ooooh what are you gonna cook?

– Is it gonna be some national dish from here?

– Can you cook something korean?

I smiled and walked away to the kitchen, only answering their questions with ”you’ll see”. I actually had no idea what to cook so I started to browse around for recipes.

– Do you need any help? I turned around and saw Jin standing in the kitchen with a smile.

– Sure, I could always use an extra hand, I said happily and went back to looking for recipes on my tablet.

– So, what are you making? he walked up to me to see what I was looking at.

– Not sure yet, got any suggestions? I looked up to see that he was standing very close to me. He made a thinking gesture.

God, why did he have to be so handsome?

– Hmmm how much do you know about korean food?

– Ehm, not much to be honest with ya.. I answered a little bit embarrassed and scratched the back of my head.

– Great, then we can cook one of the guys’ favourite meals. I’ll teach you. He smiled brightly towards me, which made butterflies fly in my stomach.

– Eeh, sure why not? If we have all the ingredients then it should be fine. He nodded and found a recipe for a dish I’ve never heard of. After scanning my fridge and the pantry we gathered all the ingredients that was needed. It seemed that we had everything we needed so we started preparing on making the food.

I stood on my toes struggling to reach for a tall cabinet to get the frying pan. Suddenly, Jin got up in front of me and reached for the frying pan.

– Here, lemme get that. Since he was taller than me he could reach it, and I couldn’t help but slightly blush over how close he was. His tall body almost hovering over me, our faces inches apart. As he looked down into my eyes I could see his cheek turned slightly pink. We stood like that for a couple of seconds, just being lost in each other’s eyes. I realised how awkward it became so I cleared my throat and pulled back a bit. He did the same, scratched the back his head and went to the stove.

When we had everything ready I opened a drawer and took out two aprons, throwing the pink one towards Jin.

– Heads up! He looked up and caught the apron with a surprised look on his face.

– What? We can’t cook without wearing aprons, now can we? I smiled playfully, which made Jin smile as well. He put on the apron as I turned to read the recipe a couple of times so I knew what to do. I nodded to myself when I thought I understood and put up my long hair in a high ponytail.

When I started chopping vegetables I noticed Jin was glancing at me. I looked up finding his eyes fixed on me.

– What?

– Oh, s-sorry I didn’t mean to stare. It’s just- I’ve never seen you with your hair up like that. You always have it down.

– Well, I don’t want to risk my hair falling into the food so…

– Yeah, that’s understandable. It looks good on you. I-I mean, you look good with your hair like that. Not- not that you don’t look good normally b-but you know… What I’m trying to say is, it suits you. He gave a weak smile with tinted cheeks, obviously feeling awkward while stumbling with his words. I looked at him in shock, trying to process what he said. Then, I lowered my head trying to hide my smile and how much I blushed.

– Uhm… Th-thank you Jin…

– Ewwww, Hyung is flirting with Lily!

– J-Jungkook!

– Hey, that’s my job!

– Oh shut up Jimin.

– Hey, watch your language!

I couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at the guys’ silliness. I turned to see Jin a bit flustered but smiling. He looked at me for a second, our eyes locked and then he smiled while shaking his head and went back to cooking. I smiled as well and continued with what I was doing, until we were ready to serve the dinner. I could get used to having Jin helping around…
