“Jesus I hate this job”

Jennie grunts as she lifts crates of broccoli onto a wheeler. “I did not sign up for this” she mutters under her breathe. Working in a Wholesale is definitely something that Jennie never dream of. Or… ever crosses her mind. Jennie feels like she’s in the 70s judging by the music selection that obviously her boss’s. ’

Running just as fast as we can, holding on to one another hands,

Trying to get away into the night and then you put your arms around me,

And we tumble to the ground and you then you say

She stakes the crates perfectly and wheels them off towards the vege isle. On her way, she saw Taeyeon rearranging boxes of capri suns– well, tries to - with and older co-worker, Aldo. They were jamming to the song not caring about the world. Taeyeon was dancing on a plastic stool with capri sun in her hand as her microphone. That woman is going to break her neck from falling off at this rate Meanwhile, old man Aldo was swaying and laughing at Taeyeon foolish antic.   

I think we’re alone now,

There’s doesn’t seems to be anyone around

But…there was just something nice about seeing them dancing and laughing together. The care free look on Taeyeon’s face and that genuine smile that Aldo gives was just so comforting. Even though their boss, Michael is basically glaring at them from the office and they receives mix reactions from the costumers, Taeyeon just keep on being herself.

Jennie smiles, shaking her head and starts humming to that awfully catchy 70s tune.

“Thank you so much for today ladies, I haven’t had so much fun in so many years” the small silver haired old man chuckles. Taeyeon is practically beaming and taps her chest in pride

“Oh Aldo, this is just the beginning. You’ll see how much fun we will have in the future. So watch out old man”

Aldo laugh heartily. The old man bids both women goodbye with a smile on his face.

Taeyeon turn to look at Jennie “You need your coffee now?”

“Jesus yes” Jennie pulls her jacket s she breathe the cold winter air. It was only a little 2 in the afternoon but the weather seems like it wasn’t going to be nice to her anytime soon. She rummages her navy blue messenger, courtesy of Taeyeon  who insist on her not using her branded bag. Their boss Michael would assume she’s some rich and try to fork out more money from them. The manly messenger bag is not something Jennie would normally use but it comes in handy for the past days. 

“Shh,,,t. Tayeon, I think I left my purse at home” Jennie groans

“No worries mate, I got ya” Taeyeon slungs her arm around Jennie

“Going to ignore that terrible accent of yours since you’re doing something nice to me”

“Hey! I always do something nice to you, You ungrateful brat” Taeyeon pushes Jennie whilst the other girl sniggers

Friendship with Taeyeon is definitely refreshing. Not that Jennie don’t appreciate her best friends, it’s just the more she’s out in from her usual bubble, she feels like her best friend babying her all the time. Not that it’s their fault to begin with anyway.

Jisoo sighs. She runs her finger through her hair. Today was supposed to be her and Chaeyoung’s day out. She clears off her schedule to spend time with her best friend.

Chaeyoung has been in and out of classes for the past few days and the smaller girl is soo into her sports nowadays that it cuts off their times together. Not to mention all the cuts and bruises that the latter have that leaves growing worries.

Jisoo also couldn’t even spend time with her daughter since Elle is staying over at her parent’s house. Her mom and dad have been breathing on her neck on wanting to get to know their grandchild better.

“You know what, this might be a perfect day to pamper myself” Jisoo mutters under her breathe.
