Chapter 12/?

The sound of the doorbell woke Jennie up from her slumber. She groggily pulls her duvet as she tries to block the noise from getting on her nerves.

 She groans in displeased as the noise doesn’t seem to die down even after a couple of minutes. Jennie then took a peek at her wooden alarm clock on the side table. The blaring red numbers shows it was 6am in the morning. She clambered laboriously of off her comfy bed, blindly grabbing her round spectacles on the side table before stomping her way down the staircase.

Jennie taps the monitor, wanting to see the creature that she’s about to pummelled to death for disrupting her sleep. 

“Jennniiiieeeeee, open uppppp”

“What do you want Taeyeon?? It’s 6am for pete sake.”

“I’m excited!” Taeyeon squeals “I have few plans on how to get to know my Goddess better”. She then shows crumpled papers with some awful doodling on it.

“What the hell is that?” Jennie squints, trying to make sense of the doodles from her monitor. “Open up Jennieeeee, then you can see my master plan better. Come onnnn, it’s cold out in the hallway”

The younger girl rubs her temple, already regretting her decision. “You know it’s going to be damn cold yet you still do this ”

Taeyeon grins, making her way towards the small kitchenette “Well, if you just open the door sooner, you could’ve had this awesome pancake while it still hot”

Jennie scoffs, whilst hiding her small smile. It has been two weeks after they met and the older woman has been a constant pain in the , trying to coax her into introducing her to the ‘goddess Seolhyun’ which Jennie adamantly refused due to certain circumstances.

 Jennie thanked God that the latter doesn’t pry too much and accepted the excuse wholeheartedly. Or, probably Taeyeon isn’t dumb enough not to realise that she hasn’t been going to school ever since they met.

Nevertheless, Taeyeon being very respectful towards her privacy is the reason why she puts up with her weirdness and oh! The fact that the latter would bring foods – mostly patisseries – is a plus point as well. 

“So, I was thinking…” Taeyeon trails as she pulls out plates and utensils from the drawers. Placing the pancake in front of the younger girl ‘We carry on with our plan today”

Jennie swallows the heavenly banana pancake before pointing her fork at the woman in front of her “There’s no ‘we’ in that plan of yours. I never agreed to any of that”

“Oh come on!!”

It’s 10 in the morning and both women huddling in their jacket sitting on a bench at the park, looking around for ‘Goddess Seolhyun’. They have been waiting for the ‘hot’ librarian for two hours.

“Taeyeon, you told me that she always shows up at 8, where on earth is she??” Jennie grits. At this point, she’d froze herself to death for not wearing a proper winter wear and her teeth starts chattering Jesus, the weather today is no joke

”Well, she should be…” Taeyeon turns around to look at the younger girl “Do you think she’s sick?”

Jennie shrugs “I’m going to get hot coffee and head back. I can’t wait any longer. We’ll see her tomorrow.
