Lies and PromisesIt's been a few days since Jeongyeon has let Bobby back into her life. At first she was annoyed but now he doesn't annoy her as much. He is more like wanting attention when they were in school and is always teasing her.
She thought he was coming onto a little strong but she couldn't help but let him do what he wanted. She just didn't like when he stood close to her. That's when she would nudge him in the stomach to get away from her in needing her space. He would only chuckle and she would push him out of the way.
Nayeon had called her the other day wondering how it was going and Jeongyeon told her it was fine. She just needs to adjust to him.
But if she were to be honest, he was acting like the same. It didn't matter how many years had passed he was the same. She was a different but, it was only to keep her strong and having him around, she noticed she wasn't thinking of her sister as much.
She felt bad but at the same time having him around was a good distraction for her. She wasn't sad or wanting to cry. She was too busy trying to get Bobby to listen to her and he was too busy teasing her.
The other day, she told him to help with dinner and he started dancing doing some Michael Jackson moves he learned from a friend and instead of helping her she accidently burned her hand with the pan. He felt bad and she pointed the knife at him to stay away.
He got some ice and put it on her hand and apologized. He wouldn't dance again when she is cooking. She rolled her eyes and told him to finish up.
Jeongyeon was sighing as she was looking at photo album of her, Seungyeon, and Seoyeon. It was them on a family trip to Jeju and they were at the beach enjoying the warmth of the sun on the wonderful day. It felt nice to look at some pictures of happy memories.
A knock was heard on her door and she put the album to the side as she sat on the sofa and went to the door. She opened it and saw Bobby holding Obang. She smiled at the cute dog and cupped his face as he stuck out his tongue remembering her.
"I would lie and I say 'Hanbin asked me to take care of him' but..." Bobby looked at her and she was already giving him a serious look. He only chuckled and continued. "I asked him if I could borrow him since he saw you with him the other night. Truth."
Jeongyeon's face eased up and looked back at the adorable pug. "Hi cutie!"
Obang looked at her with a happy face and was wagging his tail to her.
"Awwwh thanks, I didn't know you felt that way about me." Bobby joked looking at her. She looked at him rolling her eyes.
"As if." Jeongyeon let them in and closed the door. "What were we going to do with him?"
"Take him to the dog park of course." He didn't put the pug down because he didn't want him to mark his territory and cause a mess in a place he didn't know. "You don't mind?"
Jeongyeon shook her head as she went to go get her shoes and her navy blue cardigan putting it on first and then shoes. "You know, winning me over with Obang is a smart move."
Bobby smirked as he opened the door. "It was an idea that popped in my head, plus we could use some fresh air."
Jeongyeon couldn't help but too agree and walked out of her apartment and watched him lock the door.
"What were you doing before I came?" He asked once they were outside and walking down the street. Obang was walking ahead on the leash sniffing everything his nose picked up.
Jeongyeon was quiet and thought about lying but it wouldn't be fair if she is trying to be on a clean slate with him as well. She crossed her arms and looked down. "I was looking at an album with me and my sisters. I had realized with you around, I'm not thinking about Seungyeon as much."
"Is that good or bad?" Bobby watched as she picked her head up and kept looking head. But she looked at him from the corner of her eyes.
She smiled and shrugged. "I don't know."
Bobby looked ahead watching Obang and his small legs as he walked.
"I mean... I do miss her and all. But I also want to stop crying. Having you as a distraction is helping. " She couldn't help but laugh and turn to look at him. "So maybe it's a good thing in some ways. If I say it's bad.. what would be bad about not thinking of her? She is my sister but I'm sure she wouldn't want me to keep crying over her. It's been a month and two weeks now."
Bobby smiled hearing her words and let out a sigh. "Everyone is different on how they see things. Life goes on but she isn't gone forever. She is with you whether you realize it or not. She would understand if you need to forget about her sometimes and live your life."
Jeongyeon understood where he was coming from. She heard the same words from her friends and sometimes she got tired of hearing the same thing but it was true. Life did move on and sadly she couldn't stay stuck in the same place trying to relive a nightmare that took a toll on her life.
"How far is the dog park?" She asked looking over to him and did a skip.
He saw her skip and couldn't help but laugh. "Skipping? Are you six?"
She glared and smacked his arm making him laugh even harder. "I can just go back home."
"No! No. No!" He grabbed her wrist the moment she turned around but he pulled her back. "Obang would be sad that his beautiful date took off on him."
"Obang huh?" Jeongyeon raised her eyebrows as she saw him giving her a nod and innocent smile.
"Yeah, he wanted to show you off and get some good points with you." Bobby moved his hand from her wrist and grabbed her hand.
Jeongyeon felt the warmth of his touch and couldn't help but let her heart do flips in the process. She saw him still looking at her.
Cute Bunny.
She fixed herself to start walking as they stayed hand in hand. She thought he would let go but instead he fixed their hands to be interlaced and slowly swung them. "Do you like holding my hand?"
Bobby nodded. "Yes and I should've kept holding onto it."
She turned her head to look at him but he never looked at her. He kept looking ahead. She felt her cheeks burn and her heart doing flips again and again.
When he said everything...
Did he mean feelings too?

"Hey do you want to go to the movies just the two of us?"
Jiwon bit his bottom lip as he was already out with some people and he felt bad for what left his mouth. "Sorry my mom has me ground for the weekend because I didn't pick up my room."
He didn't like lying to her but he did it anyways.
"Oh.." Jeongyeon sighed into the call and frowned. It was quiet and didn't know what to do this weekend. Two weekends ago she saw him at the market with some girl and he lied to her face at school. This time, she had a feeling he was doing it again but pushed it away. "Well I guess you should listen to your mom and clean up."
Jiwon chuckled and agreed. He hung up the phone and leaned back on the wall. He was out with some people at the karaoke room. He was with Hanbin and Yunhyeong until another one of their friends came to join them and brought some girls along. It was loud and it was a good time but he couldn't ignore the pain that was building.
Jeongyeon was laying on her bed and rolled over on her back and looked up at the ceiling. She let out a groan and pushed herself up deciding to go out anyways. She started going into some stores just to look around and found a cutest Winnie the Pooh doll that she knew Jiwon would love.
She decided to pay for it and give it to him. She walked out of the store and was about to buy something sweet when she saw Jiwon around a group of friends joking and screaming. She saw a girl on his back as he was carrying her.
Jeongyeon turned as they were coming closer and pretended to be on a call. She heard them walk past her and a person bumped into her. They apologized and it sounded like Yunhyeong. He placed a hand on her shoulder but she ran off going into another store without looking back.
She closed her eyes and waited a few minutes before going out. She decided to do a quick text to Jiwon.
Jeongyeon:
So what are you doing inside the house?
Jiwon:
Just catching up on homework.
Jeongyeon let out a sigh knowing he lied to her again. She didn't understand why was he doing this. It didn't make sense.
Did something happen during our friendship?
Jiwon:
What are you up to?
Jeongyeon didn't answer him. She felt the store she was in and went to return the Winnie the Pooh.
Why is he lying to me?

Bobby threw the ball far for Obang to go get it. There were a few other dogs around the place and their owners were either on their phone or playing with their dogs. Jeongyeon smiled seeing the dogs and the love for their owners. Well for the ones paying attention to them.
She saw the cute small pug come back with the bright yellow tennis ball in his mouth with his slobber all over it.
"Do you want to throw it?" Bobby bent down getting the ball and handed it to her.
Jeongyeon smiled taking it from him and threw it far. Obang raced after it and Jeongyeon groaned in pain. Bobby turned to her and saw her holding her arm.
"Don't throw it too hard, you'll hurt yourself." He we
