The time was getting close and Jeongyeon was cutting it. She was getting ready for work and she would have to run over there. She called Taeyang to cover a bit if she wasn't there on time and to tell her father.

She got her bag so she could change when her shift ended and probably call Bobby to go and pick her up. But in the mix of getting ready to leave, she didn't have his number. They hadn't exchange anything. That's usually the first things people do when they are in contact.

She could only guess he didn't bother asking because he was too engrossed on spending time with her and making her believe all the words coming out from his mouth. It made her heart flutter and feel happy for once.

Jeongyeon would catch herself smiling without ever realizing it and distract herself around her apartment. Sometimes, she would look at the pictures of her and Seungyeon and didn't feel as sad looking at her. Strangely enough, Jeongyeon was going into a good place and Bobby had something to do with that.

She didn't know how but she had a guess.

After they stopped talking and were no longer friends, it took her a while to close away any feelings she had for him. But being around him again, there was small box was opening inside making her feel everything once again.

Just when Jeongyeon opened the door she gasped seeing Juho standing with his fist in the air ready to knock on it. He chuckled and put his arm down at his side. "Hey."

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Jeongyeon asked closing the door and turned to lock it already. She turned back and before Juho could speak, he saw someone coming towards them. Jeongyeon turned her head and got jumps from her heart. "Bobby."

He smiled as he got closer and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Hey, you ready?"

She nodded averting her eyes to Juho. "He...is taking me to work."

What the hell?

"I'm sorry, what?" Juho blinked his eyes to her and then averted them to Bobby. "I've been gone for almost two weeks Jeongyeon, and you're letting him back into your life?"

"I'm sorry I didn't realize she needed your permission?" Bobby glared at him in his place.

Jeongyeon felt the air around them getting intense and had to stop it. "Ok, stop it."

Juho scoffed rolling his eyes. "Don't you remember what he did to you!"

"Yes and I don't need a reminder Juho." Jeongyeon looked over to him. "I'll explain everything later after work ok?"

Juho didn't want to take his eyes off the person who caused Jeongyeon pain by making her cry often. He clenched his jaw still glaring at him and nodded. "Fine. I'll see you later."

He walked past Bobby not letting their shoulders touch. If that happened, one of them would go at it and that was the last thing Jeongyeon needed. She sighed closing her eyes and leaned against the door. "Why are boys so complicated?"

Bobby chuckled as he took one step to her and grabbed her hand. He ran his thumb over her knuckles and waited for her open her eyes. "I'm sorry."

She shook her head and looked at the time on her phone and widen her eyes. "Oh crap I'm late!"

She pushed herself off the door and turned to see Bobby smiling at her. She acted fast by leaning in and kissing his cheek. "I'll see you later."

Jeongyeon raced down taking the steps and realized something every important. She widen her eyes and felt her cheeks burning as the heat lingered around her whole face. "Oh... my god.."

She shut her eyes and started running.

Bobby stayed in his place for a while realizing what just happened. It was unexpected but it felt nice knowing she did that. He smiled biting his bottom lip and felt happy inside. Spending his time around her must be rubbing off and he felt glad.

He enjoyed being with her and even though he a lot. He missed her. He was serious on every word he told her and wouldn't change it for anything else. He was getting closer to tell her the truth. He just needed at least one more day. He didn't want to go back to work just yet.

He wanted to back with a good mind and hopefully Jeongyeon is a part of a new distraction for him. He couldn't wait for that day now. He widen his eyes and realized he was supposed to take her to work instead he was daydreaming.

Bobby turned and ran down the steps chasing after Jeongyeon.

She can't be too far.

"Note to self, don't mention the kiss yet." He chuckled to himself picking up his speed pushing on his feet. "This would be easier if I could call her... oh wait.. you don't have that idiot!"

He groaned at himself and saw a familiar hair color in a distance. He kept going and saw the light almost going to change. His heart reacted fast from being happy to panic in a split second.

Don't walk Jeongyeon..

He was getting closer as he panted heavy. He saw Jeongyeon almost make the light but he saw a car coming. "!"

Jeongyeon was about to step onto the road thinking she could make the light to cross over but she heard a car honking as the light changed and speeding. She widen her eyes and shut them tightly as she stayed in her place.

But instead of waiting for pain, there was something pulling her back and hit something hard with a scent she knew.

Bobby?

He was breathing hard as he held her in his arms. He closed his eyes holding her. He felt relief and happy she wasn't hit or worse. He had one arm around her waist holding her close and his other was around her neck holding her head as he her short copper hair. "Thank god... you're safe."

Jeongyeon relaxed her eyes from being shut so tight and hugged him back. She hadn't done it before but she did. She felt glad to have him in front of her and be her savior. She moved to look at him after his breathing was going back to normal. "Sorry.."

He shook his head and cupped her face. "Don't run off like that next time."

"I don't think there will be a next time." She mumbled with sorry eyes.

He brought her head to his lips and pressed them on her forehead. He closed his eyes holding her for another minute and waited for the light to change to cross over. "Let's go."

Jeongyeon saw the light and grabbed his hand walking together. He rubbed her knuckles like before and gave her a squeeze. It was silence for a while before either of them said something. Jeongyeon felt bad for almost causing an accident and didn't know what to say.

Bobby felt his heart pounding with anxiousness but he was glad she was fine and only worried what was she thinking. He didn't want to make it more uncomfortable so instead he brought up something related to them. "So are you going to tell him our secret?"

Jeongyeon looked down at her shoes and shrugged. "I didn't know it was a secret."

"Well it's not, but do you have to tell him everything?" He asked as he swung their hands slowly was they kept walking. He saw her smiling at them before looking over to him.

"Juho has been in my life for a long time especially since... you know." Jeongyeon cleared and felt uncomfortable all over again. "He cares about me."

"Seems like more from where I was standing." Bobby snorted looking down at his shoes.

She sighed and stopped walking since she saw her work ahead. "I'm fine from here."

"Did you both ever...date?" He had to ask. He wanted to know as he grabbed her other hand with his.

She shook her head. "I heard a few of our friends tell me that he likes me but I never did. I couldn't."

"Why not?" He took a step to her and looked into her brown eyes as they looked back into his. They were looking back and forth trying to find which eye to focus on.

She felt dry and felt her heart moving up her pipe as she tried to say something but she shook her head and stepped back. "I'm late, I need to go."

Jeongyeon released his hands and headed towards the building but she didn't touch the handle because Bobby pulled her back and smiled. "Number?"

She laughed realizing that he was thinking the same thing she was earlier. "That would much easier for communicating."

"That." He took her phone after she got it out and put in his number saving it and he called himself to save her number which he did. "And the unexpected kiss on the cheek. Thanks by the way."

Jeongyeon widen her eyes dropping her jaw. She snatched the phone away from him and quickly turned going inside not saying bye. She greeted a few co-workers and went to the locker room and knew her face was flushed again. But she couldn't help but be happy at his remark.

She took out her phone smiling, biting her bottom lip.

Jeongyeon:

She waited and ding was heard.

Bobby:

I'll be waiting ;)

She squealed for the first time ever in a while.

It felt nice.

Bobby was waiting outside his work with an energy drink for Matthew. He was smiled to himself a lot these past days being with Jeongyeon and couldn't believe he would be returning to work the day after tomorrow. It went by too fast but that's how life is.

It goes through ups and downs but she was opening her heart to him and it felt like a lot of progress has happened. He wanted to do something nice for today or tomorrow but couldn't figure out what. He didn't want to do a dinner since it was too common.

He wanted to do something different.

He could cook for her but that would be bad in case he burned something.

He let his mind wonder for ideas for a moment before he felt a slap on his shoulder making him lean forward. He chuckled seeing Matthew with bad dark circles under his own eyes. "You look like hell."

"Yeah, tell that to Jaehyung." Matthew took the drink from Bobby the moment he offered and took a sip. "He has me working with some trainees that came in since no one else wanted them. These kids are bad."

Bobby sighed shaking his head. "I don't miss work right now."

Matthew took another sip and chuckled. "You're going to have it easy. Kyungho has a simple list of things for you and I wish I was his assistant."
