I barely slept last night. I can’t believe I spent almost the whole night thinking about what Sojung said. I only fell asleep at five in the morning.

“UGH. Five minutes.” More like five hours.  I WANNA SLEEEEEP!

“It’s been seven minutes and a half.” WHA-? She literally timed me?

I dragged myself out of bed with my eyes half closed, walking like a zombie.

Sojung snapped a finger at my face. “Hey, are you that tired?”

“OF COURSE! DID YOU KNOW I SPENT THE WHOLE NIGHT THINKING ABOU-”

“Thinking about?”

“Uhm… haha I’ll tell you later. I’ll go wash up first.” That was a close one.

7:51 am:

I’m standing at the door, falling asleep while waiting for Sojung to lock the door.

“Let’s go.”

“So… What were you thinking about last night.”

“Uhm…I think you accidentally said something in your somniloquy

“Somni Wha-?”

“somniloquy. Sleep talk.”

“OH CRAP. WHAT DID I SAY?” I could see that she’s freaking out both internally and externally.

“You… you sure you want to know? Because I’m sure you’re just talking in your sleep. We can let it pass.”

“I WANT T- I mean, I would like to know.”

“Uhm… you said that…” I bit my lip at the thought.

“Said that? I what?”

“Well, you said that you wouldn’t let the driver off if anything happened to me… and you asked me to be careful, and you…you couldn’t bear anything happening to me. Because…”

“Because what?”

“Because you…you love me.”

“I SAID THAT?” Her eyes are about to pop out.

“And uhm… you touched me too. You uhm… your hand explored inside my shirt and touched several places.”

“OH . WAIT DID I TOUCH THAT PART?”

“Kinda, you even squeezed it once or twice.”

“I WHA-?” She started jumping. Well I’m jumping too, just that I’m jumping internally

“I’m pretty sure you’re dreaming but…”

“Were you perhaps dreaming that you were playing with stress balls? Because you were squeezing…”

“I WAS- I mean I was uhm…I was dreaming about… playing with dough?”

“MY EUN EUN.” Oh, a new nickname from Yerin. Let me count the number of nicknames she actually made.

“Tsk. You must be craving for smacks.”

“HEY. YOU’RE REALLY LOOKING FOR A BEATING, AREN’T YOU?”

Mr Kim’s class :

“Take your textbooks out.”

I started rummaging for my textbook but it’s not appearing. TEXTBOOK, PLEASE APPEAR!

Seems like I forgot to bring my textbook.

“People who didn’t bring their textbook, stand up.”
