Chapter One: Hyun's POV

--Thursday: 4:30 PM--

“Jiah can’t you just come and pick me up?” I beg into the phone, she was only five minutes away by car. This wasn’t the first time I had called her begging her to pick me up like this. In the past it was from random guy’s houses. When I used to sleep around, she’d come pick me up pissed off I called her after messing around. I used to call her and pretend I was in some sort of trouble just to get her to come get me. Because I knew if there wasn't an emergency she wouldn't come.

She hated me. I understand why. She was my older sister, not my mother. It wasn’t her responsibility to take care of me. I was 18 years old and she was 25. She had a job and other responsibilities to deal with. She shouldn’t have to deal with my antics.

I could tell throughout the years she got more and more annoyed with me. Out of the three of us siblings, she was the most successful. A Nurse in a well known hospital. Hyuk, my twin brother was gone. In an all boys boarding school because of his behavior, I’m surprised I wasn’t placed in a female boarding school myself.

But the past is the past. Now was when I really needed her.

I was just pushed past the point of no return. The one and only person who cared was away overseas on a vacation. He couldn’t help me. In fact I wouldn’t ask him because I was embarrassed of the situation I was in.

“Hyun listen, I have a big meeting in an hour. I can’t pick you up.” Jiah murmurs. “I can’t constantly babysit you, take a taxi home after you mess around now. You’re old enough.”

My heart sinks, the dull ache I’ve
