JENNIE

“Oh my God!!!” I screamed as I stepped out of our dorm.

It was 3 am.

And a startled Hanbin carrying a big teddy bear greeted me. 

He was screaming too.

He had his hood over his head and was head to toe covered up in all black.

He was, apparently, about to ring the doorbell when I bolted out the door.

“What are you doing here?!” I hit his shoulder with my fist. “And why do you look like a burglar?? You scared the heck out of me!” I had my hand over my chest.

“Ouch!” He rubbed his shoulder. 

“You leave for Japan today right?” he asked. “I’m here to deliver this friend to take with you so you don’t feel so homesick.” he handed me the bear.

“Uhhh…. thanks.” I smiled as I struggled with the bear’s weight. “But I think it might be too big to fit in my luggage?”

“I thought so.” He took off his mask. “That’s why I brought this.” 

He took out a smaller version of the bear from his jacket pocket. 

My eyes widened as I saw it. My mouth curved up to an even bigger smile.

“Yaaaa this is so cute!!” I grabbed it from his hand.

“Her name’s Nini. She’ll watch over you on my behalf.” He proudly announced.

Just then, our manager arrived to pick us up.

He slapped Hanbin’s back as he passed by, “Ya Hanbin, you’re here again?” 

He winced.

Then our manager turned to look at me,

“What’s with the bear? You need help?” He took the bear from me before I could answer and walked into our dorm.

“Girls, it’s time to go! The car’s waiting downstairs.” he called out.
