I didn’t ignore Hanbin hyung’s calls on purpose.

I really was going to answer them.

But shortly after he left for Jeju and Jennie noona left for Japan, I got slumped with work that I barely got to check my phone.

I was half-awake entering the company when the guards started running towards the entrance, something they do when VIPs arrive.

Pointing to the parking lot, I asked one of the staff passing by, “Who is it?”

“Blackpink,” she answered.

“Thanks.” I walked to the elevators.

I was excited and confused and about to panic.

I couldn’t wait to see her but I looked horrible.

I came here straight out of bed and didn’t even wash my face.

I settled at a corner around the corridor, contemplating whether or not to show myself, when a familiar figure passed by and headed towards the entrance.

Jaewon hyung.

Unlike me, he was neatly dressed and looked prim, sporting what seemed like a new haircut, 

A complete 360 from how he looked the last time I saw him - with long hair covering up his raging eyes at the absence of Hanbin.

He smilingly greeted Jennie as she stepped inside the building.

I could sense her expression tense up, clearly alarmed but not wanting to cause any commotion.

He whispered something to her ear.

After which, they left the crowd of managers and walked down the hall together, towards the cafeteria.

I quietly followed them.

They stepped inside one of the private rooms.

What’s going on?

Just right then, my phone vibrated inside my pocket.

When I took a look at who it was, it was Hanbin.
