CHOI RAE SUNG

I’ve been living in the studio for days now, working on songs for Bobby hyung’s solo album.

He was releasing it in the coming month and my songs had to be good enough to make the cut.

Will these be okay? I thought after playing my last track.

I reached down under my table to a bag on the floor.

I pulled out a carton of milk, took its straw out of the plastic, and pierced it through the box.

I took a sip.

Hmmm this is really good. Shame I couldn’t give these to Jennie noona. I guess I have to finish it all by myself.

I spun around in my chair while enjoying the milk.

My thoughts wandered back to that night at One hyung’s debut dinner celebration.

Jennie looked uncomfortable the whole time.

It worried me, but I didn’t know what was happening, or how I could help.

Right after Hanbin hyung left with her, I couldn’t describe One’s expression.

He seemed furious but restrained. Like he was about to throw a fit but tried not to. He looked like he wanted to follow them but couldn’t.

It turned out that he had something scheduled at midnight and left us shortly after them.

I haven’t talked to him since.

What’s going on with those three?

Someone abruptly stopped my chair from spinning and yelled,

“SURPRISE!!”

I jumped out of my chair and posed defensively towards the intruder.

When I saw who it was, I put my hand over my chest. “Aghhhhkamchagiya!” 

It was Jennie.

She was laughing.

“Been drinking too much coffee these days? Sit down. I brought you pizza.”

She was carrying about 5 boxes of it.
