We didn’t talk the rest of the way back.

After manager oppa started driving, Hanbin subtly reached out for my hand and held it. He didn't let go.

I stole glances at him every now and then.

But he just looked straight ahead and smiled by himself.

Manager oppa had no idea what just happened and thought we just got into another argument.

When we arrived at the dorm’s basement parking, Hanbin helped me out of the car.

But manager oppa had to take care of something, so he just dropped us off at our floor and went back down.

As we got out of the elevator, we found someone standing right outside one of the doors.

He had a bouquet on one hand, and a phone to his ear.

My heart raced in panic as I realized who it was.

It was the person I had forgotten about the past few days.

My phone inside my jacket pocket started ringing.

He turned to our direction after hearing the sound.

He smiled as he saw me.

Then his expression turned grave when he saw who I was with.

Noticing the change in his demeanor, I turned to Hanbin.

“Hanbin-ah, why don’t you go on ahead?” I told him.

He looked confused but didn’t say anything.

“I’ll follow in a bit. I promise.” I said reassuringly, this time pushing him towards their door.

“Ok,” he looked at Jaewon and then at me before he walked away.

I blocked Hanbin’s view and faced Jaewon.

“What are you doing here?” I was almost whispering.

“I came to apologize. But what the hell are you doing with him??” His voice was stern. I could already sense his displeasure.
