“Have you ever dated anyone before?”

The answer came so fast, “No, I haven’t”

Naturally, the second question followed.

“Have you ever liked anyone before?”.

“No. Never”.

He laughed and felt giddy. So am I going to be your first boyfriend? First date? First time holding hands? First kiss? OhmygodwhyamIeventhinkingaboutthis? Stupid Yong Hwa. You have only met her for an hour!

“What is the difference between like and love?”

That was the exact moment he felt his heart jumped so fast he was afraid there would be a bruise on his ribcage. How innocent could she be? Is she trying to seduce me or something? But she was looking at him straight in the eyes like she really wanted the answer.

“You’re asking me the difference between like and love?”

“Yes”

Okay, seriously, can eyes sparkle? Is it even humanly possible?

He could feel the difference, but it’s hard to explain with words.

“I’m not sure myself” he answered.

I’ll teach you about like and love, Seo Hyun. It was on the tip on his tongue, but he refrained himself from saying that.
