“Congratulations Ms. Lee!”

Sungmin stares at the doctor blankly. The doctor was smiling brightly at her and Sungmin was confused about it.

“Why on earth is she congratulating me? I came here for her to check if there’s something wrong with me because I’m not yet having my period and then she’s congratulating me? She’s such a weird doctor”

Sungmin thought while giving the doctor a weird glare.

“I never knew that doctors here in Seoul are really weird”

Sungmin sighs.

“Congratulations? Why are you congratulating me? I’m already delayed and I just want to know if there’s something wrong with me. I feel so sick every day and I always throw up and I really feel weak and then you’re going to congratulate me? What the hell is that?”

Sungmin asks the doctor while frowning. The doctor shook her head.

“There’s nothing wrong with you Ms. Lee. The things that you are experiencing are all normal”

“NORMAL?”

Sungmin shouts.

“How can that be normal? I always use the bathroom to pee and I’m always hungry and you’re telling me that it’s normal? I think I have some sort of illness and something is really serious going on with me. Was it because of too much stress? You see. I’m really busy because I am planning some weddings and it’s giving me a lot of pressure and emotional stress, especially that wedding of that ing doctor to his fiancée. It’s really stressful. Physically, emotionally and mentally stressful”

Sungmin told the doctor, feeling irritated just by thinking about Kyuhyun and his wedding to his mysterious fiancée.

“Come to think of it…how come he’s not yet introducing his fiancée to me? We’ve been planning for their wedding for almost four weeks or something, but his fiancée is not yet showing up. That was really weird and I’m going to see him again after this. I really hate it. Why did I ever accept it? I should have decline being his wedding planner, so I’m not going to be hurt like this. you Cho Kyuhyun. I really hate you”

Sungmin thought while biting her lower lip because of anger.

“Ms. Lee”

The doctor catches Sungmin’s attention. Sungmin stares at her and frowns.

“What? Are you still going to tell me that I’m fine and I’m normal even though I’m already abnormal?”

Sungmin asks the doctor who smiles at her.

“Ms. Lee, those things that you’re experiencing are all normal”

“How can that be normal?”

Sungmin asks. She is starting to get irritated and she doesn’t know why she’s being so sensitive lately. Her mood always changes and she thinks that it’s because Jongwoon is not even talking to her since the day he arrives in Seoul.

“That’s because you’re pregnant. Three weeks to be exact”

The doctor announces happily. Sungmin stares at the doctor with wide eyes open.

“Again? Who is pregnant?”

Sungmin asks.

“Ms. Lee, you’re already three weeks pregnant”

“For real?”

Sungmin asks with wide eyes open.  The doctor nods happily at Sungmin who suddenly feels nervous. Her heart starts beating fast.

“Oh my God! What should I do? Jongwoonie will surely grill me and skin me alive. Mom and dad will surely kill me when the find out about it. How am I going to explain it to them? They will surely have heart attack if I told them that I just have to a ing that I just met. They will freak out for sure. I’m dead meat now. What to do?”

Sungmin thought while holding her tummy. She suddenly feels confused. She doesn’t know if she will be happy or sad. She doesn’t know what to do and how she will absorb the fact that she has a baby in her tummy.

“Should I tell Kyu about it?”

Sungmin asks herself sadly. She shook her head, feeling lost and weak.

“If I tell him, he will leave his fiancée. I don’t want that to happen. Kyu doesn’t love me and I don’t want to use the baby for him to love me. I’m going to ruin his relationship with his fiancée and it’s wrong. But what will I do now? If I kill the baby…of course I can’t do that. I can’t kill my own child and that thing will never happen. I will never kill my baby”

Sungmin’s tears start forming in her eyes.

“I need to hide this from Kyu. He must not know that I’m pregnant. He will never find out about our baby. I’ll be the one who will raise this baby and I’m going to do it without his help. Everything that happens between us is wrong and telling him about the baby will only make the situation get worst. I’m also not going to tell this to Jongwoonie because he will surely skin me alive and about mom and dad…I’ll think about it first”

Sungmin told herself sadly.

“Ms. Lee”

The doctor snaps her fingers in front of Sungmin’s beautiful face to catch her attention. Sungmin stares at her.

“Yes?”

The doctor gives Sungmin a paper; it was some prescription of vitamins that she needs to take.

“You need to take a lot of folic acid because you’re anemic and it will be bad for your pregnancy, that’s why you need to take folic acid three times a day after each meal and please drink milk every morning and evening before you go to bed. I want you to take a lot of care and please avoid stress because it can affect your pregnancy and it can cause miscarriage and I’m sure that you don’t want that to happen, right?”

The doctor told Sungmin who nods at her.

“When can I have my first ultrasound?”

Sungmin asks.

“We can have it when you’re already ten weeks pregnant. I’ll just set an appointment for that. I’ll let you know ok?”

“Ok. Is there anything else?”

Sungmin asks. The doctor holds Sungmin’s hand and smiles at her.

“Don’t be afraid. If I’m not mistaken, this is your first pregnancy, right?”

The doctor asks. Sungmin nods.

“It will be difficult at first since you still don’t have experience on being pregnant. But being a mother is really a very wonderful experience and it is the greatest thing that a woman can experience. Being a mother is priceless. Just take a lot of rest and take care of yourself even more. Don’t forget to avoid stress and eat healthy food and don’t forget to drink those vitamins that I prescribed to you”

The doctor told Sungmin who nods at her.

“Ok”

“I hope you can bring your husband with you the next time that you will visit me. It will be great if both of you can see your baby and hear his heartbeat. This will be a very wonderful journey for you and of course for your husband and I’m sure that he will be very happy to find out that you’re already pregnant. Children will always be a blessing for a husband and wife. Congratulation Ms. Lee and see you on your first ultrasound and one last reminder before you go”

The doctor told Sungmin before staring at her feet.

“No wearing heels after this day”

The doctor told Sungmin who nods at her. Sungmin slowly stands up.

“Thank you doctor”

Sungmin bows at the doctor before leaving her clinic. She was walking blankly at the hallway, feeling so confused and scared at the same time. Sungmin is scared on the things that might happen and she really doesn’t know if she can raise her baby without Kyuhyun. She feels so sad for her baby because he will grow up without his father since Sungmin made up her mind that she will never tell Kyuhyun about it. She doesn’t want to use the baby to get Kyuhyun and force him to love her and she’s already feeling so guilty on what she did.

“I’m sorry baby. Mommy is just confused right now. Please be healthy inside my tummy, ok? I love you and of course your daddy also loves you. But I’m really sorry because I need to hide you from him because he loves someone and it’s not mommy. I hope someday you will understand why I need to do this, but always keep in mind that I’m just doing this because I love you so much. I don’t want to hide you from your daddy, but that’s the right thing to do”

Sungmin told her baby while rubbing her tummy.

“You need to give me strength baby. Mommy really needs it. We’re going to talk to daddy and tell him that I can no longer be his wedding planner. We need to go back in New York as soon as possible before he finds out about you”

Sungmin whispers. She wipes the tears that fall from her eyes. She walks towards the taxi bay. Sungmin sits on the bench and waits for a taxi while thinking a lot of things on how she’s going to raise the baby without Kyuhyun by her side.

Jongwoon was sitting quietly inside his office. He was holding a small box. Jongwoon was staring at the beautiful necklace with diamond airplane pendant that was inside the box that he’s holding. The name of the girl he loves most was engraved on the pendant. He starts acting cold towards Ryeowook after their dinner at La Terrasse. Jongwoon decided to forget about her and move on though he’s really having a hard time forgetting the girl who stole his heart from the very first day that he saw her. Jongwoon was trying to forget Ryeowook, but he just doesn’t know how. He bought her a gift and that is the necklace that was inside the box that he was holding. He doesn’t know how he will give it to her.

“One sided love is always painful”

Jongwoon whispers.

“I’ll just give this to her when she’s back here after her graduation”

Jongwoon told his self sadly. He was about to open his drawer and puts the box inside when someone knocks on the door. Yoona came in with Ryeowook. Jongwoon was shock to see Ryeowook inside his office. He didn’t expect seeing her because Ryeowook’s OJT is already finished after their emergency flight in Switzerland. Yoona bows at Jongwoon before leaving him with Ryeowook. Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook.

“What are you doing here?”

Jongwoon asks coldly. Ryeowook sits on the couch and looks at Jongwoon.

“Captain Kim…”

Ryeowook opens her handbag and gets a small envelope inside. She raises her head and stares at Jongwoon while smiling brightly.

“I’m sorry to disturb you. I just came here to give you this”

Ryeowook places the small envelope on Jongwoon’s desk.

“Tomorrow is my graduation. Maybe if you’re not busy tomorrow, you can drop by even just a minute”

Ryeowook told Jongwoon who stares at her seriously. Jongwoon places the box that he’s holding on top of the small envelope.

“It’s for you. That’s my gift for your birthday. I really hope that you’ll like it”

Jongwoon told Ryeowook before he stands up.

“I’m busy tomorrow”

Jongwoon lied. The truth is, he doesn’t have any schedules tomorrow. He just said that to Ryeowook because he’s trying to avoid her.

“Are you trying to avoid me Captain Kim? I’ve notice you acting so cold after our dinner at La Terrasse. Did I do something wrong? I’m confused”

Ryeowook told Jongwoon sadly.

“I have a lot of things to do. I still need to go at Kim Aviation because I need to meet the new Engineers and I still need to fix my Airplane 101. I don’t have much time to talk to you. Happy Graduation. Ms. Hwang will give you an orientation as an employee here when you return after your graduation”

Jongwoon told Ryeowook before leaving his office.

“Why is he like that? Why is he avoiding me? I can’t understand him. He’s such a moody person”

Ryeowook sighs sadly. She stares at the box that was on Jongwoon’s desk

“It was for me, right?”

Ryeowook asks herself. She gets the box and stares on it.

“Gift for my birthday? I thought the dinner at La Terrasse is already a gift from him?”

Ryeowook slowly opens the box. She was so happy to see the beautiful necklace that has a diamond airplane pendant.

“Wow!”

Ryeowook gets the necklace and holds it on her hands.

“This is so beautiful. I bet this is really expensive. Why will he give me such expensive gift? I’m just an employee here. He’s really weird”

Ryeowook told herself. She suddenly smiles sweetly upon seeing her name engraved on the pendant.

“This is really beautiful. Why is he so elegant?”

Ryeowook giggles happily and wears the necklace around her neck. Ryeowook holds the pendant happily. But she suddenly feels sad upon seeing the small envelope on Jongwoon’s desk. Ryeowook gets it and opens it.

“I still hope to see him in my graduation. But I guess that thing will never happen because he’s mad at me and I really don’t know why. He’s really a cold person”

Ryeowook whispers while staring at the invitation for her graduation. Ryeowook puts it back inside the small envelope and places it on Jongwoon’s desk. Ryeowook removes the necklace that Jongwoon gives her.

“I’m sorry my dear Captain Kim. I really can’t understand why you’re acting so cold towards me”

Ryeowook’s tears start forming in her eyes as she stares at the pendant. Ryeowook slowly runs her fingers on her name that was engraved on the pendant.

“I just hope that whatever I did wrong, you can forgive me. I’m still hoping that someday you will see me as a girl and not as an employee here in South Korea Airlines. This is really beautiful, but I just can’t accept it”

Ryeowook puts the necklace back inside the box. She puts the box on top of the small envelope.

“I can only accept it if you’re no longer mad at me”

Ryeowook whispers.

“Still hoping that you will change your mind”

Ryeowook stands up. She stares at the small envelope and the box for the meantime before leaving Jongwoon’s office with teary eyes.

“LET ME GO!”

Sungmin shouts at Kyuhyun, but he just ignores her as he continues to drag Sungmin with him inside the parking lot of Bien-etre.

“I TOLD YOU TO LET ME GO! STOP DRAGGING ME!”

Sungmin shouts. Kyuhyun was walking fast while dragging Sungmin. He feels so angry towards Sungmin. First, for acting so cold towards him whenever they will see each other at Donghae and Hyuk Jae’s wedding rehearsal and whenever they are going to talk about the plan for his wedding. Second, for telling him that she’s already backing out as a wedding planner for his wedding and that he needs to look for another wedding planner to replace her. Kyuhyun walks towards his car and pushes Sungmin so hard on the car door.

“Ouch! you!”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun angrily. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin seriously.

“What the ing hell did you just tell me awhile ago?”

Kyuhyun asks, controlling his remaining temper. Sungmin smirks.

“You didn’t understand it? I told you that I don’t want to be your wedding planner. Just look for a wedding planner because I’m not going to plan your wedding anymore!”

“What? Why?”

Kyuhyun was shock when Sungmin slaps him so hard, releasing all her anger and frustration.

“Don’t ask me why! You’re such an ! I hate you! I ing hate you Cho Kyuhyun! I don’t want to see your face!”

“You’re going to sabotage my wedding?”

Kyuhyun asks angrily.

“I don’t care! Continue planning it if you want. I’m not going to continue it anymore!”

“That’s very unprofessional!”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin angrily. Sungmin ignores him. She was about to walk away, but Kyuhyun pushes her back on the car door.

“We’re not yet done talking! You can’t do this to me!”

“Of course I can! I have the right to do it!”

“Was it because I’m not yet paying you? How much do you need huh?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin slaps Kyuhyun again. Tears start forming in her eyes.

“Do you think it’s about money? I’m not that kind of girl that you’re thinking! Can you really not understand why I’m doing this? Are you really that insensitive for you not to feel what I am feeling every time that we’re going to see each other and talk about your wedding?”

Sungmin asks, feeling hurt. Kyuhyun fell silent. He doesn’t know what to say and how to explain everything since he wants to stick to his plan about giving Sungmin a surprise wedding.

“Do you really think that it’s easy for me to pretend that I’m not hurt and it’s fine with me to plan the wedding of the man that I love? Damn it! It’s really painful. Don’t you know that?”

Sungmin holds her chest.

“It’s really painful here. But I need to endure everything, even though it’s hurting me too much. I need to endure it alone because I’m nothing to you. I’m just a wedding planner who will plan everything and make sure that your wedding will turn perfect and the way you want it to be for your soon to be bride”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun who shook his head.

“That’s not true baby, please don’t say that. Please stop thinking like that”

Kyuhyun was about to wipe Sungmin’s tears, but she pushes his hand away before he can touch her.

“Don’t touch me and don’t ever call me baby! I’m not your baby!”

“Min, please listen to me…”

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between his hands.

“I love you and that’s the truth. Don’t do this to me, please”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin while staring at her eyes full of love. Sungmin shook her head as tears keep on falling from her eyes.

“You don’t love me Kyu because you love her. I’m nothing to you. You don’t even care about me and how I feel. You don’t care about me because you don’t love me and that’s the truth”

“I love you”

Sungmin shook her head, still crying.

“If you love me then you will never marry other woman. If you love me then you will understand my feelings and you will never offer me money. I shouldn’t fall for you. I should have control myself and stay away from you. I should have known that you’re just playing on me”

“I NEVER PLAY ON YOU!”

Kyuhyun shouts, losing his temper.

“What do you want me to do for you to believe that I love you? TELL ME!”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin who shook her head.

“Nothing. You don’t need to love me because that thing will never happen. All we need to do is forget everything that happen between us and forget each other as well. Everything is so damn wrong and we need to correct it”

“Correct it like this? Is this the way we should correct it?”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin didn’t answer. She pushes Kyuhyun away from her and walks away. But Kyuhyun follows her and manages to catch her. Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s arm tight.

“We need to talk about it. I won’t let this happen. You’re not going to break up with me”

“I DON’T WANT TO BE A MISTRESS FOREVER!”

Sungmin shouts angrily.

“YOU’RE NOT GOING TO BE A MISTRESS BECAUSE YOU’RE…”

Kyuhyun stops shouting when he notices Sungmin holding her tummy.

“Baby, what’s wrong?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Sungmin shook her head.

“Let me go!”

Sungmin manages to escape from Kyuhyun. She was about to walk away when she feels a sudden pain again in her tummy.

“Ouch! Why is it painful?”

Sungmin slowly sits on the ground while holding her tummy tightly.

“Baby”

Kyuhyun sits on his heels to have the same level to Sungmin. He cups Sungmin’s beautiful face and stares at her. Sungmin is sweating, but it’s cold and she looks sick and in pain.

“What’s happening to you?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Sungmin shook her head as an answer.

“Baby…”

Kyuhyun holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between his hands. Sungmin was breathing fast.

“Tell me the truth. Are you pregnant?”

Kyuhyun asks. He notices a sudden change on Sungmin’s expression. She suddenly looks afraid and nervous.

“Baby…”

Kyuhyun carefully places his hand on Sungmin’s tummy.

“Is our little angel inside your tummy? Please tell me the truth”

Kyuhyun asks. Sungmin shook her head. She removes Kyuhyun’s hand away from her tummy.

“Don’t touch me you ing ! Of course I’m not pregnant, so don’t be too delusional!”

Sungmin lied. She’s feeling so nervous at that time because she’s afraid that Kyuhyun might find out about her pregnancy and she doesn’t want that to happen. Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow while staring at Sungmin.

“Are you sure?”

“Of course I am!”

“Then why are you like that?”

“THAT’S BECAUSE I’M SICK OF SEEING YOUR ING FACE!”

Sungmin shouts. She carefully stands up, still holding her tummy.

“Don’t ever bother me again! I already told you what I need to tell you. Let’s stop this stupidity and I don’t want to continue planning your wedding. Just look for a new wedding planner who can continue it for you!”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun who is still sitting on his heels.

“Fine”

Kyuhyun slowly stands up.

“If that’s what you want then do it. I know that I can’t stop you from your decision. No matter what I do, you will never listen to me and you will never stay because you think that I’m just playing on you and I don’t love you. Think whatever you want to think, but I know for myself the truth. I love you and I’m serious about it”

Kyuhyun told Sungmin sadly, controlling his tears from falling. He holds Sungmin’s hand.

“I’ll drop you at Jongwoon’s house”

“No need to do that”

Sungmin pulls her hand away from Kyuhyun’s grip.

“I can take the cab”

“But you’re sick. I’m worried about you”

“I can take care of myself. Just take care of your fiancée and not other woman!”

Sungmin told Kyuhyun. She turns her back away from Kyuhyun and starts walking away, leaving Kyuhyun alone. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin as he watches her walking away from him. He wants to stop her, but he doesn’t know how.

“What will I do now?”

Kyuhyun asks his self sadly, feeling confused and hurt because Sungmin already leaves him completely.

Jongwoon came out from the bathroom after taking a bath. He was only wearing a towel around his waist. He suddenly frowns upon seeing Sungmin lying on his bed.

“What the ing hell are you doing here?”

Jongwoon asks Sungmin coldly. Sungmin looks at Jongwoon who is drying his hair with a towel.

“Can I sleep here?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“Go out…now”

“Jongwoonie…please”

Sungmin flashes her puppy eyes, working on her cuteness to convince her best friend. Jongwoon sits on his bed.

“Out!”

Jongwoon commanded Sungmin. But instead of obeying him, Sungmin shook her head and crawls towards Jongwoon and rests her head on his lap.

“I don’t want. Let’s sleep together. I just can’t sleep alone”

Sungmin told Jongwoon. She gets up and sits on Jongwoon’s lap.

“Don’t get mad at me anymore, please”

Sungmin told Jongwoon before wrapping her arms around Jongwoon’s neck.

“What do you want me to do naughty bunny? You didn’t even follow …”

Sungmin holds Jongwoon’s lips to stop him from talking.

“I behave when you’re away. Doctor Cho fetches me here to have dinner with me outside and talk about some plans for his wedding. I check-in at JW Marriot Hotel because the wedding rehearsal for Hae and Hyukkie’s wedding is really early and your house is really far from there. Nothing happen between me and Doctor Cho”

Sungmin lied. Jongwoon raised an eyebrow while staring at Sungmin suspiciously.

“Do you think I will believe you?”

Jongwoon asks, making Sungmin frown.

“I’m your best friend. Why don’t you believe me huh?”

“Why? You’re asking me why. Fine. I’ll tell you why. Stand up you naughty bunny”

Sungmin stares at Jongwoon blankly.

“I told you to stand up”

Jongwoon told his best friend. Sungmin pouts and carefully gets off of the bed. She stands in front of Jongwoon who observe her carefully. Sungmin starts to get nervous when Jongwoon places his hand on her tummy.

“Jongwoonie, what are you doing? Why are you touching my tummy?”

Sungmin asks, trying to sound normal. Her heart starts beating fast because of nervousness when Jongwoon stares at her seriously.

“Tell me the truth Lee Sungmin. You’re pregnant, right?”

Jongwoon asks suspiciously. Sungmin quickly shook her head and laughs sarcastically.

“Pregnant? What the hell are you talking about? How can I be pregnant if I don’t even have a boyfriend?”

Sungmin told Jongwoon in a very sarcastic manner. Jongwoon smirks, still holding Sungmin’s tummy. He gently rubs his hand on it.

“Simple baby. You just slept with Doctor Cho on the night that he fetches you here and that’s the reason why you didn’t go home. Stop lying baby. You know that I hate liars”

Jongwoon told Sungmin, shooting her a deadly glare.

“Why don’t you believe me huh? Do you think I’m lying? I already explain my side to you. I’m not pregnant ok”

Sungmin lied.

“What do you want me to do for you to believe me?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“Nothing. I’m just telling you the truth that you’re lying. I know you so well baby”

Jongwoon told his best friend. Sungmin frowns at him.

“Tell me. If you’re not pregnant, how come you’re acting so strange lately?”

“Strange?”

Sungmin asks nervously. Jongwoon nods and flashes a smirk.

“Do you really think that I’m insensitive and I can never feel that there’s something wrong with you? Do you think I’m not observing you? Have you look at the mirror and observe yourself? You gain some weight because you’re always eating. You always feel dizzy and sick, especially in the morning. You feel super sick that you can’t even go down and join me in breakfast and you need to ask ahjumma to bring your breakfast in your room. You’re always sleepy. There was a time wherein you didn’t meet up with Doctor Cho and your other clients because you feel so weak and very tired. You just slept the whole day and don’t forget that I once caught you throwing up. Care to explain? If you’re not pregnant then why are you acting like that and one last thing, you’re craving for raspberry cheesecake and almond jelly with lychee”

Jongwoon told Sungmin who suddenly fell silent.

“What? You’re not going to defend yourself? I’m correct, right? You’re really pregnant”

Jongwoon asks, interrogating Sungmin who shook her head. Tears start forming in her eyes because of nervousness. She was thinking of a good reason to tell Jongwoon or else her best friend will surely find out about the baby inside her tummy and if that happens, Jongwoon will surely grill her alive.

“Jongwoonie, watashi ni okoranaide kudasai” (Jongwoonie, please don’t get mad at me)

Sungmin starts speaking Japanese unconsciously because of her fear.

“Damn it! Stop talking like that. Don’t speak Japanese”

Jongwoon smirks.

“You’re just making me get more suspicious on you baby”

Jongwoon told Sungmin who shook her head.

“I’m not pregnant, please believe me”

Sungmin sits on Jongwoon’s lap and wraps her arms around his neck. She rests her head on Jongwoon’s bare chest.

“Jongwoonie, I went to a doctor awhile ago to have a check-up because I’m feeling so sick lately. The doctor told me that it’s because of my anemia. That’s the reason why I’m acting strange lately and I’m always hungry because of stress. I have a lot of things to do and think and that’s why I always get hungry easily and I’m on my ovulation period ok. That’s why I’m craving for something. So please, stop accusing me of being pregnant because that’s not true”

Sungmin lied, hoping that Jongwoon will believe her.

“Are you ok?”

Jongwoon asks Sungmin. He cups her beautiful face and stares at her.

“You look a bit pale. I’m worried”

“I’m fine. The doctor just gives me a lot of vitamins for my anemia and she told me to eat healthy food”

Sungmin yawns

“I think you need to sleep now. You need to sleep a lot, so you will feel better. You supposed to tell me early so I won’t get suspicious on you”

Jongwoon told Sungmin while caressing her cheek gently. Sungmin sighs in relief.

“I just don’t want you to worry about me”

“You always make me worry about you every time that you’re not telling me your problem”

Jongwoon carries Sungmin like a bride and gently laid her on his bed.

“I’ll just put on my clothes. Sleep now”

“Please hurry. I want you to hug me”

Sungmin demanded. Jongwoon gently pinches Sungmin’s nose, making her smile.

“You’re such a brat ”

“Because you love me ”

“Of course because we’re best of friends”

Jongwoon stuck his tongue out before going inside his walk-in closet to get dress.

“Oh my goodness!”

Sungmin holds her forehead.

“That was so close”

Sungmin whispers and sighs. She holds her tummy and gently rubs it.

“I’m sorry baby. Mommy doesn’t want to lie about you. But I need to do that. I need to hide you because the situation is still chaotic. Just wait patiently ok? I’ll introduce you to the world when we’re already in New York, but as long as we’re here in Seoul, you need to behave and hide or else your daddy will find out about you and your uncle Jongwoonie will grill us both. I’m really sorry baby, but please understand mommy for the meantime. Let’s sleep now. You need to take a rest. Sleep tight honey. I love you so much”

Sungmin told her baby while rubbing her tummy. Jongwoon went out of his walk-in closet wearing his pajamas. He lay down beside Sungmin. Jongwoon gently pulls his best friend against him and hugs her tight.

“Jongwoonie…”

“Hmmm?”

“We’re going to be best of friends no matter what happen, right?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon nods his head as he starts Sungmin’s hair gently.

“Of course baby”

“Don’t get married too soon, ok?”

“Married?”

Jongwoon laughs softly. He looks at Sungmin who is smiling at him.

“Are you teasing me or what?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin just laughs at him. Jongwoon pouts and flicks Sungmin’s forehead.

“What are you talking about huh? How can I get married if I don’t even have a girlfriend? I told you that I’m a heartbroken man because the girl that I love will get married soon. She even returns the necklace that I gave her as a gift on her birthday”

“Are you courting her?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“I can no longer do that baby because she loves someone and she’s getting married. I just give her a gift for her birthday. That’s all. Don’t worry Minnie. I told you before that I’m not going to get married unless you already found your Mr. Right. That’s a promise and I won’t break it. I want to see you happy and fine with the man you love and the man who will love you, protect you and take care of you before I find my Princess”

Jongwoon told his best friend. Sungmin smiles brightly and kissed Jongwoon’s cheek.

“Yuck! That was so disgusting. Aish!”

Jongwoon told Sungmin while frowning.

“Shut up !”

Sungmin laughs softly and gently pinches Jongwoon’s cheek.

“Thanks Jongwoon. Best friends forever. I love you”

Sungmin told her best friend. Jongwoon smiles and gently brushes his nose on hers.

“Best friends forever lost bunny. I love you. Let’s sleep now”

“Ok. Good night my dear Captain Jongwoonie”

“Good night. Sweet dreams”

Jongwoon kisses Sungmin’s forehead. Sungmin smiles and hugs Jongwoon. She slowly closes her eyes as she went in dreamland with Jongwoon.

When Sungmin is already 8 weeks pregnant…

 

Sungmin was staring at the full body size mirror inside her walk-in closet. She was holding her tummy nervously.

“Oh my goodness honey!”

Sungmin stares at her baby bump through the mirror.

“I can’t understand why my tummy is growing so fast. I’m just on my eight weeks, but I already have a baby bump and it’s big”

Sungmin rubs her tummy gently.

“Honey, are you really that eager to show yourself to the world? Please don’t give mommy a hard time. I’m having a hard time wearing girdle just to hide you. Please don’t grow too fast. Just wait for two more weeks before you grow fast because we’re already going back in New York soon. I told you honey. Daddy must not find out that you’re inside my tummy or else the whole situation will be more chaotic”

Sungmin told her baby. She gets her girdle on the couch and starts wearing it around her waist to hide her big tummy.

“I’m sorry honey. But I really need to hide you or else uncle Jongwoonie will grill us alive if he finds out that you’re inside my tummy. I’m sorry because I know it’s painful, but bear with it for two weeks until we finally arrive in New York”

Sungmin wears a black sheath dress because she can no longer wear some of her jeans and skirt since she’s growing so big like her tummy. Sungmin holds her tummy because she suddenly feels a slight pain.

“Oh my God! Honey, please behave. Mommy needs to work. We need to go at the last wedding rehearsals of my clients. We will see daddy there, so you need to behave or else he will find out about you and that thing must never happen”

Sungmin told her baby. She wears black Lolita flat shoes and ties her hair into a bun and went out of her walk-in closet. Sungmin walks towards her bed.

“Ouch!”

Sungmin holds her tummy because the pain starts to trigger again. Sungmin slowly sits on her bed and starts rubbing her tummy gently.

“Honey, please behave. Don’t give mommy a hard time. Are you mad at me because I’m hiding you? I’m really sorry, but please understand me honey. I’m just doing this because this is the right thing to do for the meantime. I’m really sorry honey. Please behave and give me strength. Mommy needs to work for your future”

Sungmin gets her handbag and slowly stands up. She takes a deep breath as she continues to rub her tummy gently.

“I love you honey. I can’t wait to see you and hold you on my arms. Let’s go now. Don’t worry because we will eat and sleep after mommy’s work”

Sungmin flashes a smile. She leaves her room and takes the elevator because she’s already tired. Sungmin gets tired easily ever since her baby arrives in her tummy. But she gets more tired lately because she’s getting heavier and bigger and she can’t understand why. She also can’t understand why her tummy grows so fast and if she will not wear girdle, people will find out that she’s pregnant since the baby bump is already evident. Sungmin goes out from the elevator and slowly walks towards the kitchen. She smiles brightly upon seeing Jongwoon who is sitting on a chair, busy reading newspaper while enjoying a cup of coffee.

“Good morning my dear Captain Jongwoonie”

Sungmin greets Jongwoon happily. Jongwoon puts down the newspaper that he was reading and looks at Sungmin who is already drinking a glass of milk.

“Minnie”

Sungmin looks at Jongwoon.

“Do you have any plan on dieting?”

Jongwoon asks while staring at Sungmin. He really thinks that his best friend is already bigger than a hippopotamus and it makes him freak out because Sungmin is growing big each week and he just can’t understand why.

“Do you want me to accompany you in a gym? Let’s have an exercise together. I can introduce you to my Personal trainer and my Nutritionist. You can go with me every Mondays and Fridays or if you’re really busy then just choose whether you will come with me on Mondays or Fridays”

Jongwoon told Sungmin who stares at him blankly.

“Why?”

Sungmin asks before wiping her lips with the table napkin.

“I think you’re gaining a lot of weight lately. You’re growing like a hippo. Actually, bigger than a hippo. Stop eating, will you?”

Jongwoon told his best friend. Sungmin smiles at Jongwoon.

“I’m not going to promise because I love eating. I’m going now”

“You’re not going to join me in breakfast?”

Jongwoon asks before taking a sip on his coffee. Sungmin shook her head and stares at her pink wrist watch.

“I need to go or else I’ll be late at the wedding rehearsal. I’ll be home at four in the afternoon. You have work today?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“I’m just going at Kim Aviation and will discuss some of the new airplane designs with Engineer Shin. By the way baby…”

“Yes?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon takes a sip on his coffee before continuing.

“I have flight tomorrow in New York. I’ll stay there for three days. You need to stay here and behave. Do you understand me?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin nods happily.

“Tell mom and dad that I’ll be back in New York after two weeks. I’m no longer attending Hae and Hyukkie’s wedding because I need to go back in New York soon to meet my other clients. I’ll just call them about my flight”

“Ok”

Jongwoon puts down his cup of coffee on the table and grabs his car key. Jongwoon stands up.

“Let’s go”

“Go?”

Sungmin asks curiously. Jongwoon nods.

“I’m going to drop you first before I go at Kim Aviation”

“But you’re not yet done eating your breakfast. It’s ok Jongwoonie. I can take the…”

Sungmin stops talking when she feels pain in her tummy.

“Oh my God! No”

Sungmin holds her tummy.

“Hey, are you ok? Minnie, what is happening to you?”

Jongwoon asks Sungmin worriedly. Sungmin shook her head. She can’t even speak because the pain that she’s feeling is too painful compare to the pain that she felt before.

“Jongwoonie…”

Sungmin’s tears start forming in her eyes because the pain keeps on growing. She slowly sits on the floor because her knees are shaking. Jongwoon sits on his heels to have the same level to Sungmin.

“Minnie”

Jongwoon holds Sungmin’s beautiful face between his hands. Jongwoon can see pain on Sungmin’s expression and she’s breathing fast and sweating really hard.

“Minnie, what’s wrong. I’ll bring you to the hospital”

Jongwoon told Sungmin who shook her head. She holds Jongwoon’s hand and pinches it hard.

“Ouch! Yah!”

“Jongwoonie”

Jongwoon’s eyes suddenly grow big when he saw blood on Sungmin’s legs.

“Yah! What the…”

Sungmin starts crying when she notices that she’s bleeding.

“Baby, please don’t leave me. No…just hang on”

“Baby?”

Jongwoon looks at Sungmin with wide eyes open.

“You’re pregnant?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin manages to nods her head before she passes out.

“Minnie!”

Jongwoon quickly stands up, carrying Sungmin on his arms. He quickly runs outside to bring Sungmin at the hospital.

Jongwoon was walking back and forth outside the ER. He was biting his nails, feeling so worried about Sungmin.

“I hope Minnie is fine and the baby. I hope nothing bad will happen to them, especially to the baby. He needs to live”

Jongwoon whispers. He suddenly stops walking.

“Wait a second. Minnie is pregnant?”

Jongwoon asks his self with confusion.

“But how? I mean, she told me before when I ask her, and she told me that she’s not pregnant and nothing happen between her and Doctor Cho. She told me that she’s feeling weak and sick because of her anemia”

Jongwoon ruffles his hair irritatingly.

“Aish! How can that naughty lost bunny lie to me? I knew it. My instinct is correct. I know that she’s hiding something from me. That’s the reason why she’s growing big, eating a lot and sleeping a lot. That’s also the reason why she’s feeling tired, weak and sick everyday”

Jongwoon slams his hand on the wall and bites his lower lip because of anger.

“Yah! That ing doctor will really get it. He’s such a ing ! He needs to do his responsibilities for the baby. I don’t care if he’s going to get married soon. He needs to be responsible because he’s the one who did this to Minnie. I’m not going to allow him to run away from his responsibilities and abandon Minnie and the baby. you Doctor Cho! I really want to kill you. Damn it! How can you do this to my best friend! I’m really going to cut you into pieces. Just you wait you ing doctor!”

Jongwoon takes a deep breath, calming his self. He still can’t believe that Sungmin will hide her pregnancy from him and he can’t accept the fact that his best friend lie to him. Jongwoon gets his mobile phone inside his pocket and calls Kyuhyun’s secretary to set an appointment with Kyuhyun on that day. He told Kyuhyun’s secretary that he will be having his follow-up checkup. The secretary told him to be in Kyuhyun’s clinic at four in the afternoon in which Jongwoon agree. He hangs up and starts walking back and forth again outside the ER, waiting for the doctor to come out.

“Excuse me Sir”

Jongwoon stops walking when he heard a voice. He looks at the doctor and walks towards her.

“Are you the husband of Ms. Lee?”

The doctor asks Jongwoon who suddenly frowns.

“Excuse me? You’re asking me if I’m the husband of that naughty hardheaded bunny?”

Jongwoon asks. The doctor nods at Jongwoon while giving him a weird glare. Jongwoon clears his throat.

“Do I look like a husband already? I’m still single! Aish! That girl is not my wife. She’s my best friend”

Jongwoon told the doctor irritatingly, still feeling frustrated and angry on Sungmin. The doctor thinks that Jongwoon is such a weird, snobbish and very grumpy man.

“Why are you staring at me? You don’t want to believe me? I’m telling you the truth doctor of that naughty hard headed bunny. I’m not her husband and I’m not the father of the baby inside her tummy. If you want to see the ing who impregnates my best friend then I will bring him to you next time. Aish! I’m really going to cut that ing doctor’s throat! I suddenly want to burn him alive”

Jongwoon told the doctor angrily. The doctor coughs to catch Jongwoon’s attention.

“Ah, Mr.?”

“Kim Jongwoon”

The doctor’s eyes widened as she stares at Jongwoon.

“You’re Captain Kim?”

The doctor asks. Jongwoon nods. He raises an eyebrow

“So what?”

Jongwoon asks. The doctor shook her head.

“So, the rumor is true. You’re really a cold person, snobbish, very serious and grumpy”

“What?”

The doctor shook her head again. She smiles at Jongwoon who is staring at her seriously.

“Anyway Mr. Kim…”

The doctor clears before continuing.

“We bring Ms. Lee inside a sonogram room. We need to perform an ultrasound to check the baby’s condition inside her tummy. You see. I just find out that the patient is wearing girdle just to hide her pregnancy and it’s not good for a pregnant woman to put a pressure on her tummy. It can affect the fetus inside her womb”

The doctor explains to Jongwoon who starts feeling nervous. He was worried about the baby inside Sungmin’s tummy and of course to his best friend. Jongwoon’s eyes start to get teary.

“How’s Minnie? The baby will be fine, right?”

Jongwoon asks, feeling so concern about Sungmin and her baby.

“The patient needs to take a lot of rest because she’s stressing herself too much. She’s emotionally, physically and mentally stress out and that’s not good. That’s the reason why she bleeds and because of putting pressure on her tummy. Regarding the baby, I still can’t tell unless we perform the ultrasound. So, should we go now inside the room to check the baby?”

The doctor asks. Jongwoon nods at the doctor and follows her inside the sonogram room. Sungmin was sitting on the bed. She stares at Jongwoon with teary eyes. She feels so scared and nervous at the same time because Jongwoon already knows the truth. Her heart keeps on beating fast while staring at Jongwoon’s serious face. Jongwoon looks at Sungmin, but she quickly removes her gaze away from Jongwoon because she feels so shy towards him. She’s shy because of lying and because she’s feeling so guilty for loving Kyuhyun and for giving up her ity for him.

“Hi Ms. Lee. We need to check your baby. We need to make sure that nothing bad happen to your baby”

The doctor told Sungmin who nods sadly at her.

“We’re going to perform a transl ultrasound. I need to see your womb clearly, so I can check your baby much better. Don’t worry because it’s not that painful though you will feel a bit discomfort. It’s safe and nothing to worry because it won’t harm your baby”

The doctor told Sungmin who nods weakly. She looks at Jongwoon.

“Jongwoonie…”

Sungmin was about to cry, but Jongwoon holds her hand.

“Don’t be scared. I’m here”

Jongwoon told Sungmin, making her feel better a little. Sungmin nods at Jongwoon as the nurse assist her. Sungmin lay down on the bed with her knees bent. Her feet are held in stirrups.

“Let’s start?”

The doctor asks. Sungmin nods nervously. She intertwines her hand on Jongwoon’s. Jongwoon hold Sungmin’s hand tight, taking her fear away.

“It will be alright”

Jongwoon whispers to Sungmin. The doctor carefully inserts the probe inside Sungmin’s l canal. Sungmin bites her lower lip upon feeling the probe inside her and because the gel is a bit cold and she’s already feeling some discomfort. They stare at the TV monitor. Sungmin can clearly see her womb.

“You’re carrying twins darling”

The doctor told Sungmin happily. Jongwoon and Sungmin smile while staring at the two placentas in the TV monitor. The doctor points her finger on the placentas.

“You’re growing so big because your carrying two babies inside your womb. They are identical twins though they are in different placenta because they share one amniotic sac”

“Can you identify the gender?”

Sungmin asks. The doctor shook her head.

“It’s still early to determine the gender. Maybe we can find out your twins’ gender on your 13th week”

“But I’m going back in New York after two weeks”

“Then your doctor there will be the one who will perform the ultrasound to find out your twins’ gender. I’ll just give you your medical records before you go back to New York”

Sungmin nods. The doctor starts checking for the twins’ heart rate. She suddenly stares at Sungmin sadly.

“Is there something wrong doctor?”

Sungmin asks the doctor worriedly. The doctor sighs sadly.

“Your babies’ heart rate is slow”

“What do you mean by slow?”

Sungmin asks, feeling nervous while controlling her tears from falling. She feels scared upon hearing the doctor telling her that her babies’ heart rate is slow. Sungmin is scared because her babies might be in danger and she doesn’t want that to happen.

“I think you need to stop working for the meantime. You’re stressing yourself too much and it’s affecting the progress of your baby. Carrying twins is really hard and you need to take a lot of extra care because there are two babies inside your tummy. Miscarriage is more common to multiple pregnancies than a singleton pregnancy. I think you need to stay here in Seoul for the meantime. It will be dangerous to ride a plane in your condition right now. Your babies are at risk. I just want you to take a rest all the time as in complete bed rest everyday”

The doctor told Sungmin.

“But I need to go back to New York”

“You can go back in New York when the babies’ conditions are better. This is for your babies’ good”

Sungmin stares at the doctor sadly.

“My babies are going to be ok, right?”

“We can never tell by now. There are some cases that only one baby will survive while the other dies inside the womb of the mother and we’re avoiding that kind of situation. Of course we all want the safety of the babies. If there will be some complications by the following weeks or months then you need to stay in the hospital so we can monitor your babies. I need to check you again next week. If the babies’ heart rate is still the same then you need to stay in the hospital”

The doctor told Sungmin who nods sadly, controlling her tears from falling.

“So, I want you to take a lot of care and rest. Multiple pregnancies are more dangerous than singleton. I’m going to give you higher dose of folic acid because you really need a lot of iron because you’re anemic and you’re carrying twins. Just like what I told you before, eat healthy food and drink milk twice a day and of course have a complete bed rest every day. If your babies will get better then that’s the only time that I will allow you to go back in New York, but for the meantime, please stay in Seoul because you’re at risk of having a miscarriage”

The doctor told Sungmin.

“By the way…can I talk to the father of your babies?”

The doctor asks Sungmin.

“Ah…”

Sungmin quickly pulls Jongwoon closer to her.

“He’s the father of my babies”

Sungmin told the doctor.

“WHAT?”

Jongwoon and the doctor shout in unison as their eyes widened.

“Huh? But he just told me awhile ago that he’s not the father of the babies and he’s not even your husband?”

The doctor told Sungmin, feeling a bit confused. Jongwoon nods his head, agreeing to the doctor. Sungmin smiles weakly.

“Of course Jongwoonie is not the biological father. He’s just the foster father, right Jongwoonie?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon smiles and nods his head.

“Why do you need to look for that ing if I’m already here huh? Do you think that I can’t be a good father for Minnie’s little angels?”

Jongwoon asks the doctor in a very snobbish manner. The doctor shook her head.

“It’s not like that Mr. Kim”

“Then what?”

“Fine…”

The doctor sighs.

“Since you’re going to be the foster father of Ms. Lee’s babies then you can watch over her all the time. You need to make sure that she’s always following what I told her to do awhile ago. You need to take care of her and watch over her. Make sure that she won’t stress herself physically, emotionally and mentally. She needs to avoid those things because it will be bad for her condition as well as the babies’ condition. Your best friend needs a husband’s support and since you volunteer as a foster father for her babies, maybe you can also stand as her husband since the biological dad of the babies is not here”

The doctor explains to Jongwoon who nods his head.

“No problem doctor. I can always do that. I know how to take care of this naughty hard headed bunny. I’m going to make sure that she will be fine as well as her babies. Anything else?”

The doctor shook her head.

“How about you? Do you have any question?”

The doctor asks. Sungmin and Jongwoon look at each other and shook their heads.

“I’ll see you next week Ms. Lee and Mr. Kim”

Jongwoon and Sungmin nod.

“Ah, doctor”

“Yes?”

“Can I ask for the copy of the ultrasound?”

Sungmin asks. The doctor smiles at Sungmin and nods her head.

“Thanks”

Sungmin smiles at the doctor before carefully getting off of the bed.The nurse assists Sungmin inside a room as she changes her clothes. Jongwoon looks at the doctor who is already printing the copy of Sungmin’s ultrasound.

“Doctor”

The doctor stares at Jongwoon with a smile on her lips.

“Can I also ask for a copy of the ultrasound? I’ll just give it to that ing . I’m going to meet him later”

The doctor nods her head as an answer.

“Thanks”

“Ah, Mr. Kim…”

“Hmmm?”

“I hope you don’t mind if I ask. What’s the name of Ms. Lee’s husband?”

The doctor asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“It’s not her husband. That man just impregnates my best friend. That’s why I’m going to kill him later for doing this to Minnie. He’s a doctor and his name is Cho Kyuhyun”

“KYU!!!”

The doctor shouts with wide eyes open. Jongwoon shoot her a weird glare.

“You know him?”

Jongwoon asks curiously. The doctor nods her head, still can’t believe that Kyuhyun impregnates other woman.

“He’s my friend”

“WHAT?”

Jongwoon shouts as his eyes grow big.

“Ha! So, that ing doctor is your friend huh? I’m really going to kill him and throw him at the Han River for doing this to Minnie”

“Oh my goodness!”

The doctor holds her forehead.

“I can’t believe it. I thought he’s going to get married to Sooyoung? But why?”

“Sooyoung?”

Jongwoon asks. The doctor nods at Jongwoon.

“Sooyoung, his fiancée”

Jongwoon suddenly laughs upon hearing the doctor.

“Pabo! Sooyoung is not the name of his fiancée”

“Huh?”

“It’s Kim Ryeowook ok”

“Of course not, Woo—“

The doctor has been cut when Sungmin returns inside the room with the nurse. Jongwoon quickly grabs the copy of Sungmin’s ultrasound away from the doctor’s grip. He folds it and put it inside his pocket.

“Let’s go home?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin nods at Jongwoon. The doctor gives Sungmin the copy of her ultrasound. Jongwoon grabs the copy from Sungmin’s hands and puts it inside her handbag. Jongwoon carries Sungmin’s handbag and smiles at the doctor.

“Thank you so much doctor…”

Jongwoon stares at the doctor’s ID.

“Lee Soon-Kyu. Sunny for short.”

The doctor told Jongwoon while smiling at him. Jongwoon nods.

“Thank you so much Doctor Lee Sunny”

Jongwoon and Sungmin bow at Sunny before leaving the room.

“I can’t believe that Captain Kim is really a weird human being”

Sunny told herself.

“Seriously, what is happening to Kyu? How can he impregnate other woman? I wonder if Sooyoung already know about it”

Sunny suddenly laughs upon remembering what Jongwoon told her.

“Captain Kim is so weird. How can he tell me that Wookie is Kyu’s fiancée? That thing can’t happen because Wookie is Kyu’s cousin. He’s really weird…super weird”

Sunny told herself while laughing. She takes a deep breath and looks at the TV monitor. Sunny smiles while staring at Sungmin’s babies.

“Kyu, I know that you’re going to be happy when you finally find out about your twins. But I’m worried about them. Seriously, they might die if their heart rate will not change. The mother of your kids is really having a hard time right now because her pregnancy is too risky. I just hope you will not give her a lot of emotional and mental stress because your babies are at risk. I wonder what you will do once you find out about them. How about Sooyoung? I really think that you’re insane for impregnating a girl when you’re about to get married. Why did you do that huh?”

Sunny whispers while staring at the pictures of the babies. She sighs sadly and turns off the machine before leaving the sonogram room.

Donghae and Hyuk Jae are having a peaceful lunch with Kyuhyun after their wedding rehearsal. Donghae elbows his soon to be wife, catching her attention. Hyuk Jae looks at Donghae and notices him staring at Kyuhyun.

“What?”

Hyuk Jae whispers softly. Donghae’s eyes furrowed as he keeps his eyes upon his best friend who is staring at the window quietly.

“Honey…”

Donghae looks at Hyuk Jae who is staring at him curiously, waiting for him to speak.

“What is wrong with Kyu?”

Donghae whispers softly, making sure that Kyuhyun will not here them talking about him. Hyuk Jae didn’t answer. He just stares at her fiancé blankly. Donghae sighs upon noticing some confusion on Hyuk Jae’s expression.

“Look…”

Donghae looks at Kyuhyun who remains quiet while staring at the window, spacing out. It seems that he’s thinking something so serious.

“Kyu is acting strange lately”

Donghae whispers softly.

“Strange?”

Hyuk Jae asks curiously. Donghae nods and focuses his eyes back on Hyuk Jae.

“He’s always quiet and he always commits mistakes every time that we’re going to have our wedding rehearsal. He’s always out of his self and spacing out. It seems that he’s thinking something so serious and deep all the time”

Donghae told Hyuk Jae, feeling so concern to Kyuhyun.

“What’s new?”

Hyuk Jae asks her fiancé. Donghae just stares at her because he didn’t understand what Hyuk Jae is talking about.

“I mean…”

Hyuk Jae sighs.

“Kyu always commit mistakes ever since the day that we start our wedding rehearsal. If he’s not late or absent because of work, he’s busy committing mistakes making Minnie and her assistants lose their patience towards him”

Hyuk Jae explains. Donghae nods at her.

“I know. But that’s not what I meant ok”

“Then what?”

Donghae sighs.

“Look at him”

Donghae commanded. Hyuk Jae looks at Kyuhyun. He’s still staring at the window quietly. Kyuhyun looks so sad and it seems that he’s carrying a heavy burden on his shoulders. He looks a bit tired and his eyes are a bit puffy.

“See?”

Donghae asks. Hyuk Jae nods.

“Did he cry or what? Why are his eyes puffy?”

Hyuk Jae asks her fiancé, but Donghae only shook his head.

“Is he sick or something?”

Hyuk Jae asks again, but Donghae just shook his head for the second time. Hyuk Jae slowly turns her head towards Donghae.

“How come you don’t know? He’s your best friend”

Hyuk Jae told Donghae before focusing her eyes back on Kyuhyun.

“He’s not telling me anything ok. I ask him, but he…OUCH!”

Donghae suddenly shouts because Hyuk Jae elbows him.

“Yah! Why did you do that?”

Donghae asks while frowning. Hyuk Jae just flashes a weak smile. Donghae notices her staring to someone. Donghae focused his eyes on the person that his fiancée is staring at and notices Kyuhyun staring at them.

“Are you guys talking about me?”

Kyuhyun asks. The couple nods at him.

“Hae was the one who start it. He was asking me if something is wrong with you because you’re acting so strange. It seems that you’re always out of yourself”

Hyuk Jae told Kyuhyun. Donghae nods in agreement.

“Kyu, is there something wrong?”

Donghae asks worriedly.

“You’re not like that before. Are you tired or something?”

Kyuhyun didn’t answer. Hyuk Jae coughs softly.

“It’s Minnie, right?”

Hyuk Jae asks curiously. Kyuhyun stares at them and nods sadly.

“Just as I thought. What happen? Did something go wrong between the two of you or maybe about your surprise wedding to her?”

“Well…”

Kyuhyun sighs sadly.

“First, I’m worried about her. Where the hell is she? How come she didn’t attend the rehearsal today? I heard some of her assistants talking awhile ago that she will not join the rest of the rehearsals anymore. Was it true?”

Kyuhyun asks his friend. Donghae and Hyuk Jae look at each other before nodding their heads as an answer.

“Why? Was it because of me?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Hyuk Jae shook her head.

“Of course it’s not about you. Actually, we receive a phone call from Captain Kim awhile ago. He’s the one who told us that Minnie will not arrive today and she won’t be able to join the rest of the rehearsals. Her assistants will be the one who assist us about the wedding rehearsals starting tomorrow because Minnie is sick”

Hyuk Jae told Kyuhyun whose eyes suddenly grow big.

“How is she? Did Jongwoon tell you her current condition right now?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Hyuk Jae shook her head.

“He just told me that he brings Minnie at the hospital. I didn’t have the chance to ask the name of the hospital because he sounds so worried and he’s panicking when he’s talking to me. I think something so serious happen to Minnie and I’m really worried. You see. I really think that Minnie is sick because she’s strange. I mean, she gets dizzy and so sick before. There are times wherein she’s absent because she can’t get off of the bed because she feels super sick and there are times wherein she always want to throw up and she’s growing so big”

Hyuk Jae told Kyuhyun and Donghae worriedly.

“I know that Minnie and I are not friends, but I’m concern about her because we really become close because of planning the wedding. I really think that she’s such a sweet, loving and very nice lady. I ask her before about her problem and she just told me that she’s sick because of her anemia. But she looks pregnant”

“PREGNANT!!!”

Donghae shouts with wide eyes open while staring at Kyuhyun.

“YAH! Did something happen between the two of you?”

Donghae asks his best friend curiously. Kyuhyun nods.

“THEN SHE’S PREGNANT!!!”

The couple shouts in unison. Kyuhyun shook his head.

“She’s not. I ask her before, but she told me that she’s not pregnant. Maybe she’s just sick or something is really wrong with her”

Kyuhyun told them.

“She broke up with me. We’re already over for a long time”

“Over? She broke up with you?”

Donghae asks curiously. He raised his hands and coughs softly.

“Wait a second Cho Kyuhyun. I don’t get it. How can she break up with you if you guys don’t even have any commitment at all? You are not a couple, just in case you forget about it. I’m just reminding you, so please don’t be delusional my dear best friend”

Donghae told Kyuhyun. Hyuk Jae nods, agreeing to her husband to be. Kyuhyun nods.

“I know. But still…she’s mine even though she thinks that I’m playing on her. She told me a long time ago that we should end whatever is going on between us because everything is wrong. She’s not supposed to love me on the first place because I’m already committed to other woman and I’m getting married. She thinks that I don’t love her because I’m going to marry Sooyoung. If only she know…”

Kyuhyun told them sadly. Hyuk Jae gets her dessert spoon and hits Kyuhyun’s hand so hard.

“OUCH! WHAT THE ING HELL IS THAT LEE HYUK JAE? WIFE OF LEE DONGHAE!”

Kyuhyun shouts because of anger. Hyuk Jae stuck her tongue out. She puts down her dessert spoon on the table and sighs.

“You know Kyu? If I’m also in Minnie’s condition, I will also feel the same way. I will also think that you don’t love me and you’re just playing on me. Why?”

Hyuk Jae frowns at her friend.

“Do you expect me to hold on in a relationship in which I am not sure if the man that I love loves me too? Come on Kyu. Why are you so insensitive and selfish at the same time? Why can’t you understand huh? OF course Minnie will feel worst and terrible because she thinks that you’re still committed to Sooyoung. We all know that you’re planning to give her a surprise wedding, but Kyu…”

Hyuk Jae sighs.

“You’re hurting Minnie. I know that surprise wedding is very romantic, but how are you going to make things work?”

Kyuhyun shook his head.

“She also stops being my wedding planner. She told me to look for another wedding planner”

“See? That’s what I’m trying to point out. Of course Minnie will give up because planning your wedding will keep on hurting her. It’s hard to plan the wedding of the man you love, knowing that you’re not the bride because you’re just the wedding planner”

“But she will be my bride. I’m just doing this because I want her to plan our wedding”

“But she doesn’t know about it. She doesn’t know that you and Sooyoung are already over. Her innocence about your plan is just hurting her. Why don’t you just tell her?”

Kyuhyun shook his head, disagreeing to Hyuk Jae.

“Why not?”

“My plan for a surprise wedding will be ruin”

“Then let’s put it this way…”

Hyuk Jae thinks for the meantime before speaking again.

“Just tell Minnie that Sooyoung and you are over”

“But Hyukkie, if I do that then she will have a clue that I’m going to marry her someday. I mean…”

Kyuhyun stops talking when Donghae raised his hand to interrupt the conversation between him and Hyuk Jae.

“Can I in?”

Kyuhyun and Hyuk Jae nod at him.

“Why don’t you just ask the help of Captain Kim? Maybe you can tell him all your plans for Minnie. In that way, he can help you about the surprise wedding since Minnie is his best friend and beside…”

Donghae takes a sip on his wine before continuing.

“Minnie already quits being your wedding planner. I think it’s about time for you to seek other people’s help and in this case, it will be Captain Kim. I’m sure that he knows a lot about Minnie since they are best of friends”

Donghae told Kyuhyun, emphasizing the word ‘best friend’ to tease Kyuhyun because he can feel Kyuhyun’s jealousy every time that Jongwoon will be involved in their conversation about Sungmin.

“I think my honey fish is right Kyu. You should already ask the best friend’s help if you really want this surprise wedding to work and to happen”

Hyuk Jae told Kyuhyun before eating her panna cotta.

“Fine. I’ll ask Jongwoon’s help. I’ll talk to him later. I will also ask Wookie’s help and of course your help guys”

“Our help?”

Donghae asks curiously. Kyuhyun smiles and nods his head.

“Of course you guys must help me because we’re friends and friends should always help each other, especially in times of troubles and emergencies like this”

Kyuhyun told them happily.

“How can we help you?”

Hyuk Jae asks. Kyuhyun flashes a bright smile and snaps his fingers happily.

“Simple. After your wedding, we will all fly in Japan. No honeymoon for both of you”

“WHAT?”

Donghae and Hyuk Jae shout in unison.

“I’m sorry Kyu. But I won’t accept the offer. Thank you very much”

Donghae told Kyuhyun while pouting.

“Come on fish”

“Come on brat. I waited for the day that I’m going to spend a very special and wonderful night with Hyukkie and then you want to ruin it?”

Kyuhyun shook his head.

“I’m not going to ruin it. You guys can have your honeymoon after my wedding. You’re just going to move the date of your honeymoon. That’s not a big deal. Just have abstinence for a week or maybe you can just spend your honeymoon in Japan. There’s nothing wrong with that”

Kyuhyun suggested while flashing a bright smile.

“It’s just a small favor fish and anchovy. We’re just going to fly in Japan after your wedding because we need to help the others in preparing my wedding to my Princess Lee Sungmin. Of course you guys must attend my wedding then after that you can go in your honeymoon. If you want then I’ll be the one who will buy new plane tickets and book for new accommodation for your honeymoon”

Kyuhyun offers them. The couple looks at each other and sighs.

“Do we have any other choice?”

Donghae asks. Kyuhyun shook his head.

“Just do it for me…please”

Kyuhyun begs them while flashing his puppy eyes. Donghae and Hyuk Jae nod.

“I knew it. You guys can never resist me”

“WHATEVER BRAT!”

Donghae and Hyuk Jae shout in unison.

“Just make sure that the surprise wedding will work or else we’re going to grill you alive”

“Of course it will work the way I want it to be. Trust me”

Kyuhyun told them while flashing a proud smile. He heard his mobile phone ringing. Kyuhyun gets it inside his pocket and answers his secretary’s call.

“Yeoboseo”

“Doctor Cho, you have an appointment today”

“With whom?”

Kyuhyun asks curiously.

“Mr. Kim Jongwoon called here awhile ago asking for an appointment. He told me that he will have a follow-up checkup today. I told him to go here at four in the afternoon”

Kyuhyun’s secretary told him. Kyuhyun stares at his watch; it’s already two thirty in the afternoon.

“Arasso. I’ll be there before four. Thank you”

Kyuhyun hangs up. He looks at Donghae and Hyuk Jae.

“I’m sorry guys. I still want to discuss my plans about my surprise wedding for Minnie, but I need to go now. I need to go at Seoul National Medical Center”

“You have patients today?”

Donghae asks. Kyuhyun nods.

“Who?”

Hyuk Jae asks. Kyuhyun gets his table napkin and wipes his lips. He puts it down on the table and stands up. Kyuhyun gets his backpack and wears it. He smiles brightly at Donghae and Hyuk Jae.

“He’s the person that can help me regarding my plan about the surprise wedding for Minnie. Jongwoon will visit my clinic today for a follow-up checkup. Maybe we can talk about the surprise wedding after the checkup. See you tomorrow guys”

Kyuhyun happily told his friends. He salutes at them before leaving the restaurant happily.

Sungmin was lying on her bed quietly. She was staring at Jongwoon who keeps on walking back and forth inside her room.

“Jongwoonie…”

Sungmin calls her best friend’s attention, but Jongwoon just ignores her.

“Jongwoonie…”

Sungmin calls Jongwoon’s attention for the second time. Jongwoon stops walking and looks at Sungmin.

“Shhhh…I’m thinking here. Don’t talk to me for the meantime”

Jongwoon told Sungmin before walking back and forth again. Sungmin sighs.

“But you’re already walking back and forth and thinking for almost one hour. What are you thinking huh?”

Jongwoon stops walking and sighs. He looks at Sungmin.

“You need to answer everything that I’m going to ask you”

“It depends on the question”

“JUST ANSWER!”

Jongwoon shouts. Sungmin gulps nervously while staring at her best friend’s serious expression. Sungmin nods nervously.

“I want an honest answer. Don’t ever lie or else I’ll skin you alive. I’m serious Lee Sungmin”

Jongwoon threatens Sungmin who nods her head again, feeling nervous. She can feel Jongwoon’s anger towards her.

“First. Does Doctor Cho know about it?”

Sungmin shook her head as an answer.

“I didn’t tell him. He asks me before when I’m just on my third week because he notices that I’m acting strange. But I deny. I told him that I’m not pregnant”

Sungmin told Jongwoon who raised an eyebrow. He crossed his arms on his chest.

“Second. And why you didn’t tell him?”

Jongwoon asks, interrogating Sungmin who keeps on feeling nervous.

“Well…”

Sungmin looks at Jongwoon with teary eyes.

“I feel so guilty about it that’s why I decided to hide my pregnancy from him”

“Third. Why do you feel so guilty?”

“Jongwoonie…no wa sore ni tsuite hanae teishi sa sete itadakimasu. Watashi wa monogoi o e imasu” (Jongwoonie…please, let’s stop talking about it. I’m begging you)

Sungmin told Jongwoon, feeling uneasy about their conversation. She doesn’t want to remember her stupidity; stupidity of loving Kyuhyun and giving her ity to him.

“English please”

“But…”

“I TOLD YOU TO ANSWER EVERYTHING THAT I’M GOING TO ASK YOU!”

Jongwoon raises his voice, releasing his anger and frustration. Sungmin’s heart starts beating fast.

“I…”

Sungmin’s tears start falling from her eyes.

“I feel so guilty for being stupid. I should have listened to you, but I disobey you. I’m sorry Jongwoonie. I want to hide my pregnancy from Kyu because I don’t want to ruin his relationship with his fiancée. I know what I did is wrong and loving him so really wrong. I don’t want Kyu to love me just because I’m pregnant. I don’t want to use my pregnancy to force him to love me”

“See? That’s the thing that I’m trying to explain to you before, but you just keep on ignoring it. You don’t know how to think. You always follow your ing heart and emotion without even thinking about the consequence first. Tell me. What will happen to you and to your babies now?”

Jongwoon asks with concern. Sungmin just shook her head. She feels so lost because she really doesn’t know how she will be able to go on without Kyuhyun.

“I’m scared. Mom and dad will surely get mad at me”

“Of course they will! What do you want them to do? Throw a party because their only child, their beloved daughter opens her legs in front of the man she just met and to the man who has a commitment to other woman and the man who is about to get married. I really can’t believe you Lee Sungmin!”

Jongwoon told Sungmin angrily, reprimanding her.

“Jongwoonie…please don’t get mad at me. I’m sorry. I don’t know what to do. I feel so lost and confuse. I’m scared for my babies. I don’t know how I am going to go on with my life now”

Sungmin told Jongwoon while crying like a kid. Jongwoon stares at his best friend and somehow, he feels guilty for shouting at her and getting mad at her. Jongwoon takes a deep breath, calming his self. He sits beside Sungmin and hugs her, comforting her.

“I’m sorry. I just feel frustrated and I also don’t know what to do. Stop crying now. It will be bad for you and the babies”

Jongwoon wipes Sungmin’s tears away.

“What are we going to do now Jongwoonie?”

Sungmin asks her best friend nervously. Jongwoon shook his head.

“I can’t think properly right now. I also don’t know what to do and how are we going to tell it to mom and dad. I’m sure that they will freak out”

“Maybe we can just tell them that you impregnate me”

“WHAT?”

Jongwoon shouts with wide eyes open.

“Are you insane? Why will I impregnate you huh?”

“I know that you can never do that to me, but Jongwoonie…”

Sungmin holds Jongwoon’s hands and stares at him.

“That’s the only thing that I can think. Look. Mom and dad will never get mad at us as well as mommy and daddy if ever we tell them that the father of my babies is no other than you, my dear Captain Jongwoonie”

“They will not believe because they know that we’re just best of friends”

“Then we can tell them that we fall in love with each other here in Seoul”

“Pabo!”

Jongwoon flicks Sungmin’s forehead before hugging his self, feeling goose bumps.

“I suddenly have goose bumps”

Jongwoon told Sungmin who nods at him.

“Me too”

“See? Your idea will not work”

“Jongwoonie…”

Sungmin hugs her best friend.

“Let’s just stick on it, please. I really don’t know what to do and you’re the only person who can help me and beside…”

Sungmin’s eyes start getting watery.

“You will be the foster father of my babies since I don’t have any plan on telling Kyu about them and he will never know about our kids. You’re going to stand as the father of my babies, right?”

Sungmin asks Jongwoon sadly. Jongwoon holds his best friend’s beautiful face between his hands and gently brushes his nose from hers.

“Of course, I will never leave you. I’m not going to let you carry the entire burden alone. We’re going to do it together and we’re going to raise your babies together. I’ll be their father if ever that ing doctor will not accept them”

“Huh?”

Jongwoon shook his head.

“Nothing. What I’m trying to say is…”

Jongwoon looks at Sungmin.

“Our parents will surely arrange our marriage right away if we tell them that I’m the father of the babies”

Jongwoon told his best friend. They look at each other.

“YUCK! THAT WILL BE DISGUSTING!”

Sungmin and Jongwoon shout in unison before hugging each other.

“OH MY GOD! WHAT TO DO?”

They shout again while hugging each other tight.

“We’re dead meats now Jongwoonie”

Sungmin told Jongwoon nervously. Jongwoon shook his head and looks at Sungmin who looks sad and worried.

“Fine”

Jongwoon takes a deep breath.

“If my plan will not work then we’re going to stick to your suggestion. It’s ok. I’ll marry you. I’ll be the man who will love you, protect you, take care of you and our babies. I will be your husband and the father of the twins”

“What plan?”

“Huh? Oh!”

Jongwoon shook his head.

“Nothing. I don’t have plan. Just forget about it. My mind is just going crazy because of thinking so much”

Jongwoon told Sungmin while flashing a weak smile.

“Pabo Kim Jongwoon! She must not know that you’re planning to confront Doctor Cho and tell him everything”

Jongwoon thought.

“Jongwoonie…”

“Hmmm?”

Sungmin suddenly blush because of embarrassment.

“If that’s the case then we should start practicing now”

“Practicing?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin nods shyly.

“Kissing”

“WHAT? WHY ARE WE GOING TO PRACTICE KISSING HUH? WHY ARE YOU SO ERT NAUGHTY AND HARDHEADED BUNNY?”

Jongwoon shouts as his eyes grow big.

“Of course we need to act sweet in front of our parents or else they will get suspicious that we just force each other to marry each other”

“Do we really need to kiss?”

“I think so”

Jongwoon and Sungmin stare at each other.

“NO WAY!”

They shout in unison while having goose bumps.

“Just do it.”

“Aish!”

Jongwoon ruffles his hair irritatingly.

“Fine”

Jongwoon takes a deep breath. He stares at Sungmin’s lips nervously.

“I can’t do it. I’m having goose bumps Minnie”

“Oh my God! Me too. Why is it so hard? Maybe you can just imagine that you’re kissing your Miss Flight Attendant”

Sungmin suggested. Jongwoon smirks.

“Ha! If I will do that then you will end up having triplets”

Jongwoon teases Sungmin.

“ YOU! YUCK!”

Sungmin shouts while frowning. Jongwoon starts laughing.

“Aigoo! This is so hard. I’m already feeling disgusted just by thinking that I’m going to kiss my best friend. How can we marry each other if we’re like this? Really disgusting”

Jongwoon told Sungmin who nods her head, agreeing to him.

“Then what should we do now Jongwoonie?”

Sungmin asks with teary eyes. Jongwoon sighs.

“Just leave it to me. Stop thinking about it. Don’t stress yourself. Leave everything to me. I’m the one who needs to get stress and tired of thinking about it and not you. Just go to sleep now and take a rest for the meantime. I’ll just wake you up when dinner is ready”

Jongwoon told Sungmin and helps her to lie down on the bed.

“I’m just going somewhere”

“Where?”

Sungmin asks curiously.

“Kim Aviation. There’s something wrong with my Airplane 101. I need to fix it and I also need to go in my office to check if there will be a pilot who can replace me tomorrow”

Jongwoon lied. The truth is, he will go at Seoul National Medical Center to confront Kyuhyun.

“It’s ok Jongwoonie. Don’t mind me. Just go to your flight tomorrow”

“But”

Sungmin holds Jongwoon’s lips.

“I’ll be fine. Ahjumma will take care of me. But you should be back soon”

“Ok”

“Are you going to leave now?”

Sungmin asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“I’ll put you to sleep first”

Sungmin smiles brightly. Jongwoon starts Sungmin’s hair gently. He sings a sweet lullaby to put her to sleep. Sungmin slowly closes her eyes. She was rubbing her tummy gently while listening to his best friend’s wonderful artistic voice until she finally falls asleep. Jongwoon carefully gets off of the bed when Sungmin is already sleeping peacefully.

“I’m sorry baby. I know that you want to hide your pregnancy to that ing doctor. But I think he needs to know because he’s still the father of the twins no matter what happen. I’m not going to let him abandon you like this. If he will not do his responsibilities to you and to your babies, then I’ll be the one who will do it. I won’t leave you baby. We’re going to do this together”

Jongwoon told his sleeping best friend. He carefully touches Sungmin’s tummy.

“Please be safe inside mommy’s womb”

Jongwoon told the twins. He smiles and softly kisses Sungmin’s forehead before leaving her room quietly.

Jongwoon arrives at Kyuhyun’s clinic exactly four in the afternoon.

“Good afternoon Doctor Cho”

Jongwoon greets Kyuhyun before bowing at him. Kyuhyun looks at Jongwoon.

“Hi Jongwoon. It’s good to see you”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon who just nods at him. Jongwoon walks towards Kyuhyun and sits on the chair in front of Kyuhyun’s desk.

“My secretary informs me that you’re going to have a follow-up checkup today. So, how are you feeling right now?”

Kyuhyun asks before standing up. He stands in front of Jongwoon and starts listening to his heartbeat through his stethoscope.

“Actually Doctor, I’m not here for follow-up checkup”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun who stops what he’s doing and stares at him curiously.

“I’m actually here to talk to you. Man to man”

“About?”

Kyuhyun asks curiously. Jongwoon stands up and stares at Kyuhyun seriously.

“Is there any problem Jongwoon?”

Kyuhyun asks when he notices Jongwoon’s serious glare. Jongwoon clenches his fist because he wants to punch Kyuhyun’s gorgeous face for impregnating Sungmin, but he controls his self from doing it.

“It’s about Minnie”

“What about her?”

Kyuhyun asks with concern. Jongwoon takes a deep breath. He gets the copy of Sungmin’s ultrasound inside the pocket of his jeans and gives it to Kyuhyun.

“What is it?”

Kyuhyun asks while staring at the white envelope blankly, wondering what is inside.

“Open it for you to find out”

Jongwoon answers. Kyuhyun looks at Jongwoon before opening the white envelope. He gets the paper inside and carefully unfolds it. Kyuhyun’s eyes widened upon seeing the ultrasound.

“Don’t tell me that…”

Kyuhyun looks at Jongwoon with shock expression. Jongwoon nods at Kyuhyun, still controlling his anger towards him.

“What you’re seeing and what you’re thinking is absolutely one hundred and one percent. That’s Minnie’s ultrasound. She’s already eight weeks pregnant with your twins”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun. He notices Kyuhyun’s teary eyes. But those tears are not tears of sadness or pain. It’s actually tears of joy and excitement.

“Wow! I’m going to have twins. I’m going to be a father soon”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon happily while staring at the twins. Jongwoon was shock when Kyuhyun suddenly hugs him tight. He can feel the happiness and excitement that keeps on flowing from Kyuhyun’s heart upon hearing the news about Sungmin’s pregnancy.

“I’m so happy…really happy”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon. He looks at Jongwoon who is staring at him blankly.

“How come Minnie didn’t even tell me about it? I told her before that if our love will bear a fruit, she should tell it to me. She promises that she will tell it to me. I ask her before if she’s pregnant because I keep on noticing sudden changes on her and it seems that she’s always sick. She was holding her tummy at that time that I ask her. But she told me that she’s not pregnant. Why did she lie to me?”

Kyuhyun asks Jongwoon who smirks at him.

“Do you want me to punch your ing face huh Doctor Cho?”

“Huh?”

Kyuhyun asks with confusion in his voice. Jongwoon bites his lower lip because of anger. He grabs Kyuhyun’s collar and pushes him hard on the wall.

“Yah! What the hell are you doing? Let me go!”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon, trying to remove Jongwoon’s grip away from him. But Jongwoon was holding him tight. Kyuhyun stares at Jongwoon and notices his deadly glare.

“How can you do this to Minnie?”

“I love her with all my heart and soul”

“ YOU!”

Jongwoon shouts angrily.

“You love her?”

Jongwoon asks and flashes a sarcastic smile.

“How can you tell me that you love Minnie with all your heart and soul when you’re already committed to someone? How can you do this to her? If you’re just playing with my best friend, I’m telling you. Leave her alone or I’m going to break your ing gorgeous face!”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun angrily before letting go of him.

“I just inform you that Minnie is carrying your children. That’s all. If you will not do your responsibilities with them, it’s ok. Minnie will not force you. She actually doesn’t have any plan to tell you because she feels like a loser and the worst woman because of what you did. She feels so confused and lost because she doesn’t know how she will raise the twins alone and how she will tell it to her parents. You don’t need to help if you don’t want. You don’t need to be their father if you don’t want. I just tell it to you because you’re the man who impregnates her and I think you still have the right to know about your kids. I’m asking you to leave her and don’t ever show your face in front of her because you’re just hurting her. Minnie loves you, but she needs to stop because you’re already taken. So please, just leave her alone”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun. He turns his back away and was about to walk when Kyuhyun holds his arm to stop him.

“Wait a second Jongwoon. I need to tell you something. It’s important. Please listen to me. I need your help”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon who slowly turns around to face him. Jongwoon looks at Kyuhyun curiously.

“Help about?”

Jongwoon asks curiously.

“Well…”

Kyuhyun takes a deep breath.

“To tell you the truth Jongwoon, I already broke up with my fiancée”

Jongwoon’s eyes widened upon hearing Kyuhyun. He doesn’t understand why he suddenly feels happy about it. Happy for his best friend and of course happy for his self because Ryeowook is free and she’s not going to get married anymore.

“Are you telling me the truth?”

Jongwoon asks. Kyuhyun answers him with a nod.

“Are you sure? I mean, you already broke up with your flight attendant fiancée?”

Jongwoon asks Kyuhyun, feeling so happy. But he didn’t make it obvious.

“Flight attendant fiancée?”

 

Kyuhyun asks with confusion on his voice because he doesn’t remember Sooyoung changing her occupation.

“Since when did Sooyoung become a flight attendant?””

Kyuhyun asks his self while staring at Jongwoon with confused look.

“I’m talking about Kim Ryeowook”

“WOOKIE!!!”

Kyuhyun suddenly shouts upon hearing his cousin’s name. Jongwoon nods his head.

“Yes. Kim Ryeowook. Wookie for short. The new flight attendant of South Korea Airlines. She’s your fiancée, right? I’ve heard the other employees in our Airline Company talking about her and you”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun who suddenly laughs.

“Why are you laughing? Did I say something funny?”

Jongwoon asks, frowning at him. Kyuhyun nods. He stops laughing and takes a deep breath before speaking.

“That was a misconception”

“Misconception?”

Jongwoon asks, giving Kyuhyun a confused expression.

“Yes”

Kyuhyun smiles at Jongwoon.

“So, the rumor is actually true. What Wookie told me before is true. I thought she was just joking around when she told me that the other employees of your company are talking about her being my girlfriend and fiancée. Seriously, do we look like a couple?”

Kyuhyun asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“I don’t know. I’ve never seen you together. Why?”

“I’m just asking because people often mistaken us as a couple. But we’re not a couple. Wookie is not my girlfriend or fiancée. She’s my cousin”

“COUSIN?”

Jongwoon shouts. Kyuhyun nods happily at him.

“She’s my one and only cousin. Her dad and my mom are siblings”

“Oh! So that’s the reason why she’s calling you oppa”

“Yes”

Jongwoon smiles inwardly upon knowing that Ryeowook is not Kyuhyun’s fiancée.

“Ha! Kim Jongwoon, you still have a chance. Go for it!”

Jongwoon thought, feeling so happy to know the truth that Ryeowook is Kyuhyun’s cousin.

“My fiancée’s name is Sooyoung. Choi Sooyoung and she’s a CEO and not a flight attendant. Honestly, I fall in love with your best friend upon seeing her at the lobby of Seoul National Medical Center”

“Love at first sight huh?”

Jongwoon asks, raising an eyebrow. Kyuhyun nods while smiling brightly, remembering the day that he saw Sungmin.

“I was shock to see her when I went in your room to have rounds. I seriously think that you guys are lovers because you don’t look like best of friends. I told her that I love her and she also told me that she loves me. I broke up with Sooyoung because of Minnie and because our relationship is not working anymore. She loves her work and she chooses it over me. I’m already single when I impregnate your best friend”

Kyuhyun confesses to Jongwoon.

“Then why are you still planning the wedding if you and your fiancée are already over?”

“That’s because the wedding will still continue and Minnie will be the bride”

Jongwoon’s eyes widened upon hearing Kyuhyun.

“You’re going to marry her?”

Jongwoon asks. Kyuhyun nods his head happily.

“Yes. Actually, it’s a surprise wedding. She doesn’t have any idea about it. She doesn’t know that the wedding that she was planning is already our wedding and she doesn’t know that Sooyoung and I are over. I know that I hurt her for hiding everything, but that’s part of my plan on giving her a surprise wedding. She already met my parents before. I told her that they want to see her and discuss with her my wedding to Sooyoung. My parents know about my plan and they like Minnie for me and they think that she will be a good wife and mother”

Kyuhyun explains very carefully to Jongwoon.

“Then what’s my role here?”

Jongwoon asks curiously.

“Do you want to go with me in my house? We can discuss everything there”

“Arasso. I’ll drive behind you”

“And…”

Kyuhyun looks at Jongwoon and raises the copy of Sungmin’s ultrasound.

“Can I keep this?”

Kyuhyun asks. Jongwoon nods happily.

“Of course. That copy is actually yours. I really ask for an extra copy to give it to you. By the way, the doctor who checks Minnie awhile ago know you”

“What’s the doctor’s name?”

Kyuhyun asks curiously. Jongwoon thinks for the meantime, thinking about the doctor’s name because he already forgets it.

“Lee Sunshine. I don’t know. Something like that and she’s such a talkative girl. She introduces herself when I’m not really asking her to do it. I think her name is Lee S…it starts with letter S”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun, still thinking about Soon-kyu’s name.

“Lee Soon-Kyu. Sunny for short”

Kyuhyun answers. Jongwoon snaps his fingers.

“Yes. That’s her name. She told me that she’s your friend”

Kyuhyun nods at Jongwoon.

“Let’s go now doctor. I need to go home before dinner because Minnie will surely look for me when she wakes up”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun before leaving his clinic to wait for him at the lobby. Kyuhyun packs his things. He stares at his twins.

“I love you my babies and I love your mommy so much”

Kyuhyun smiles and kisses the twins’ pictures before putting it inside his backpack. Kyuhyun wears his backpack and happily leaves his clinic to follow Jongwoon at the lobby.

Ryeowook was sitting in an Indian sit position. She was sitting at the living room while busy scanning her ipad. She was reading some articles about Kim Aviation when Kyuhyun arrives at his house with Jongwoon whose eyes suddenly grow big upon seeing Ryeowook. His heart starts beating fast because of happiness while staring at Ryeowook who is sitting quietly on the sofa.

“Hi Wookie”

Kyuhyun greets his cousin. Ryeowook just nods her head.

“Please stop what you’re doing. I need to talk to you”

Kyuhyun told Ryeowook.

“Five minutes oppa”

Ryeowook answers.

“Now”

Kyuhyun demanded. Ryeowook nods her head.

“Arasso”

Ryeowook puts her ipad on the sofa and looks at Kyuhyun.

“What is it op—“

Ryeowook stops talking upon seeing Jongwoon standing behind Kyuhyun.

“Hi there Captain Kim”

Ryeowook greets Jongwoon with a smile.

“What are you doing here?”

Ryeowook asks.

“I invite him here because we’re going to talk a very important matter”

Kyuhyun told Ryeowook, answering her curiosity as to why Jongwoon is with him.

“About?”

Ryeowook asks Kyuhyun, but her eyes are focused upon Jongwoon.

“About my plan for the surprise wedding”

Kyuhyun answers. Ryeowook looks at her cousin.

“You already told it to Captain Kim?”

Ryeowook asks. Kyuhyun answers Ryeowook with a nod.

“Let’s go inside the entertainment room”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon and Ryeowook. Kyuhyun asks the head maid to prepare some snacks for them before going upstairs with Jongwoon and Ryeowook. They went inside the entertainment room and sits on the floor.

“So…what’s up with the surprise wedding?”

Jongwoon asks Kyuhyun curiously, avoiding staring at Ryeowook who is sitting beside him. Jongwoon was controlling his self to focus his attention upon Ryeowook because he doesn’t want Kyuhyun to find out that he likes his cousin and he’s also scared that Ryeowook might find out about his feelings for her because he’s too shy to confess.

“Before we discuss about the wedding, I need to ask for your help first about me, meeting my future in-laws”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon who snaps his fingers happily.

“You’re just on a right track Doctor Cho”

“Just call me Kyu, ok?”

Jongwoon nods.

“Ok Kyu. It’s actually a perfect timing because I have a flight tomorrow in New York. You can come with me. I’ll be the pilot of SKA Flight 111 going in New York. I’ll stay there for three days. I can introduce you to Minnie’s parents and maybe we can tell them about the surprise wedding and their grandchildren. What do you think?”

Kyuhyun nods at Jongwoon.

“Not bad at all”

Kyuhyun answers. Ryeowook raises her hand.

“Excuse me guys”

Ryeowook speaks to catch the men’s attention. Jongwoon and Kyuhyun look at her.

“Grandchildren? What is that supposed to mean?”

Ryeowook asks with confusion on her voice. Kyuhyun smiles at his cousin and opens his backpack. He gets the copy of Sungmin’s ultrasound and gives it to Ryeowook.

“I’m going to be a father soon”

Kyuhyun told Ryeowook happily.

“AHHHHHHH!!!!”

Ryeowook shouts happily and hugs Kyuhyun.

“I’m so happy oppa”

Ryeowook told Kyuhyun before staring at the ultrasound.

“OMO! They are twins”

Ryeowook smiles brightly while staring at the result of Sungmin’s ultrasound. Kyuhyun and Jongwoon nod happily at Ryeowook.

“I also want to have twins someday”

Ryeowook told Kyuhyun while happily staring at the twins.

“Sad to say Wookie, that thing will never happen because it’s not in our genes”

“Yeah. I suddenly envy you”

Ryeowook sighs and stares at Jongwoon who is also staring at her.

“Where is she anyway?”

“She’s taking a rest at home”

Jongwoon answers Ryeowook before looking at Kyuhyun.

“How is she? Hyukkie told me that you bring her awhile ago at the hospital”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon worriedly. Jongwoon nods sadly.

“She bleeds awhile ago that’s why I bring her at the hospital. I didn’t know that she’s pregnant. She didn’t tell it to me. I just found out about it awhile ago”

“How is she? Is she alright? How about our twins?”

Kyuhyun asks, feeling so worried about Sungmin and their twins inside her tummy. Jongwoon stares at Kyuhyun sadly.

“She needs to take a complete bed rest all the time. She’s not allowed to stress herself physically, emotionally and mentally because it will be bad for the twins. Actually, the twins’ heart rate is really low and Minnie is at risk of having a miscarriage”

Jongwoon told them sadly. Kyuhyun’s tears start forming in his eyes upon hearing the sad news.

“Can I see her?”

Kyuhyun asks. Jongwoon shook his head.

“She doesn’t want to see you. She’s actually planning to go back in New York soon. She will no longer attend your friends’ wedding because she wants to return in New York immediately to hide the twins from you since she thinks that you’re still committed to your fiancée. But Doctor Lee didn’t allow her to leave because the twins will be in trouble if she will insist. She will go back next week to have a checkup. Doctor Lee will check the twins’ heart rate again. If there’s no change at all then Minnie needs to stay at the hospital so they can monitor the twins’ condition”

Jongwoon told them, feeling sad and worried about his best friend.

“That was so sad”

Ryeowook told them while controlling her tears from falling. She was also worried about the twins and of course to her future cousin in law. Ryeowook is really concern about Sungmin’s condition even though they are not yet meeting each other.

“So…”

Jongwoon takes a deep breath.

“What’s the plan now Kyu?”

Jongwoon changes the topic.

“Well…”

Kyuhyun wipes the tears that fall at the corner of his eyes. He really feels so worried about Sungmin and their babies. He wants to stay beside Sungmin and watch over her and take care of her and make sure that she will be fine as well as their twins inside her tummy. But Kyuhyun needs to bear the pain of being away from the girl he loves most since he chooses it that way when he decided to stick on his plan about giving Sungmin a surprise wedding. He finally understands what Hyuk Jae told him awhile ago when he’s having lunch with them. Sungmin chooses to stay away from him and hide her pregnancy though it’s really painful and she’s hurting herself that much because she thinks that she will ruin a good relationship if ever he finds out about her pregnancy and that’s the thing that Sungmin doesn’t want to happen. Kyuhyun knows that the situation is really hard for Sungmin and that’s why he needs to marry her as soon as possible so they can be together happily as husband and wife and they can give their twins a happy and complete family. Kyuhyun composes his self before speaking.

“I’m going with you tomorrow in New York to meet my in-laws and talk to them and ask their blessings formally. I need your help on planning the rest of the wedding since Minnie already gave up being the wedding planner”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon.

“What are the things that you guys already talk about regarding the wedding?”

“We still don’t have a date. She already prepares the flower arrangements for the venue of the wedding and reception. She’s also done with the design of the bridal bouquet and the bridesmaid’s bouquet. That’s all. We still don’t have any venue for the wedding and reception. But she told me before that her dream wedding is a beach wedding”

Kyuhyun explains. Jongwoon nods happily.

“I know exactly where you can hold the wedding. Minnie loves Japan so much and she loves the Emerald Beach Okinawa. We went there before with our parents to have vacation when we’re still teenagers. Minnie told me before that her dream wedding will be a beach wedding in Emerald Beach. She wants to fill it with pink American rose petals. She wants to watch the sunset with her husband as they walk at the beach and feels the cold wind and the calm sound of the water. So far, that’s the only idea that I can give you because that’s the only thing that she told me before and…”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun with a smile on his lips.

“She also wants thousands of sky lanterns and candles everywhere, so it will be romantic. That’s according to her”

Jongwoon informs Kyuhyun happily.

“Wow! She has a really bright idea when it comes on planning a good, romantic and very memorable wedding. I also want her to become my wedding planner when I finally marry my Prince Charming”

Ryeowook told them happily. Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook who blushes a little upon noticing him staring at her.

“Oppa…”

Ryeowook quickly turns her gaze away from Jongwoon and focuses it to her cousin. Ryeowook wraps her hands around Kyuhyun’s arm.

“I want to help as well. Can I? Please”

Ryeowook told Kyuhyun. Jongwoon smiles while staring at Ryeowook who is using her cuteness to convince Kyuhyun.

“Of course you will also help us”

Kyuhyun told Ryeowook, making her giggles happily.

“So…here’s the plan”

Jongwoon and Ryeowook stare at Kyuhyun.

“Jongwoon and I will be flying in New York tomorrow to meet my in-laws. I’m going to discuss them about the wedding and ask them formally for their blessings. I’m also going to tell them about the twins and confess my love for their daughter. When everything is fine, I’m planning to fly in Japan after New York. I want them to be with me so they can meet my parents”

“I’ll help you about that matter”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun.

“You will be flying with us as well Jongwoon”

“No problem”

“And as for you…”

Kyuhyun looks at Ryeowook.

“You need to fly in Japan tomorrow. You need to arrange the things for the wedding. Jongwoon and I will follow after my meeting with my in-laws in New York”

Kyuhyun told Ryeowook who shook her head.

“But oppa, how about my work? I mean, I need to file for a vacation leave first”

Ryeowook told Kyuhyun.

“It’s ok. I’ll handle it for you. Don’t worry. I’ll be the one who will talk to your Supervisor. You’re going to have vacation leave by request and I’m the one who will request for it”

Jongwoon told Ryeowook who smiles at him.

“Thanks Captain Kim”

“No problem”

Jongwoon smiles.

“But I need to return in Seoul for Hae and Hyukkie’s wedding. I’m going to return after their wedding and they will be coming with me as I return in Japan. They will also help us. My wedding to Minnie will happen a week after Hae and Hyukkie’s wedding. Just check the date. I want it to be Saturday”

Kyuhyun informs them. Jongwoon and Ryeowook nod.

“How about cousin in law? I mean, she might get suspicious if Captain Kim will be away from Seoul for a long time and who will watch over her?”

Ryeowook asks the boys. Jongwoon and Kyuhyun stare at each other while thinking.

“Ok”

Jongwoon claps.

“Let’s put it this way…”

Jongwoon sighs.

“After New York, Kyu and I will be flying in Japan with Minnie’s parents and if my parents are not busy, I can drag them along so they can also help us on the preparation for the surprise wedding. I’ll stay in Japan for two days and I’ll fly back in Seoul to watch over Minnie. I’ll talk to Doctor Lee and ask her to allow Sungmin to fly with me in Japan. We’re going to use our family airplane. I’m going to hide her in a hotel in Okinawa”

“What if she asks why do you need to stay there?”

Ryeowook asks.

“Just leave it to me. I know what to do. I already have a plan”

Jongwoon told Ryeowook and Kyuhyun proudly.

“So, we’re already done discussing our plan?”

Ryeowook asks the boys. Jongwoon and Kyuhyun nod happily at her.

“But I think we have a major problem”

Ryeowook told them. Jongwoon and Kyuhyun look at her blankly.

“We only have three weeks to prepare for the wedding. Can we make it on time?”

Ryeowook told them while flashing a weak smile. Kyuhyun sighs and holds Jongwoon and Ryeowook’s hands and intertwine them with each other. Jongwoon and Ryeowook stare at each other while blushing a little. Kyuhyun looks at them.

“I trust you guys. I know that we can make this wedding happen. Please, do everything to help me make it happen. I want to give Minnie a very romantic, memorable and beautiful wedding. She’s the girl that I love and I’m going to do everything for her. I trust you guys. Please be my angels”

Kyuhyun told them. Jongwoon and Ryeowook nod their head, still staring at each other. Ryeowook quickly pulls her hand away from Jongwoon’s grip when she feels him holding her hand tight. It’s not that she doesn’t want Jongwoon holding her hand, she just feels shy in front of him and she doesn’t want Jongwoon to find out her hidden special emotion for him.

“I think we should make some drafts, so we know what to do. I mean, I’ll arrive there first. You guys need to give me some idea, so I know what to do first”

Ryeowook told them as she scans her ipad, avoiding Jongwoon.

“You should go to Okinawa first and talk to the person who is managing the Emerald Beach and ask them if…”

Jongwoon stops talking when Kyuhyun holds his arm. Jongwoon looks at Kyuhyun.

“Is there something wrong Kyu?”

Jongwoon asks with concern while staring at Kyuhyun’s sad face.

“I’m going to ask a simple favor Jongwoon”

Jongwoon nods, gesturing Kyuhyun to continue talking.

“Please take care and watch over Minnie for the meantime. Please make sure that she and our twins will be fine. Can you do that for me? Can you take care of her and our twins for the meantime while I’m preparing for our big day?”

“Of course Kyu. Don’t worry because I’ll make sure that they will be fine”

“Thank you”

Jongwoon and Kyuhyun smile at each other and start sharing some ideas for the surprise wedding as they help Ryeowook to write down the things that she needs to do first and prepare for the surprise wedding since she will arrive in Japan first.

Kyuhyun was packing his things for his flight tomorrow in New York when he heard his mobile phone ringing. Kyuhyun grabs it on the bed and answers the call.

“Yeoboseo”

“Kyu”

Kyuhyun smiles upon recognizing the voice.

“Sunny. It’s good that you call because I’m going to ask about Minnie’s condition”

“Minnie?”

“Lee Sungmin”

“Ah…”

Soon-Kyu nods her head and sighs.

“Kyu, what the ing hell are you doing? Why did you impregnate an innocent girl? Does Sooyoung know about it?”

Soon-Kyu asks worriedly. Kyuhyun shook his head.

“No”

Kyuhyun answers Sunny.

“Why don’t you tell her? What will happen now huh? You guys are getting married, but why did you do that?”

“Sunny…”

Kyuhyun sighs.

“Sooyoung and I are over”

“WHAT?”

Soon-kyu shouts over the phone, making Kyuhyun laughs.

“Yah! Are you serious?”

Soon-kyu asks, feeling shock. Kyuhyun nods while laughing.

“Since when?”

“A long time ago”

“Why?”

“Because we don’t love each other anymore and things are no longer working for both of us. We’re both busy. She loves her work more than her own fiancé. She’s not ready to be a housewife and she doesn’t want to give up her work for me. I forget about her when I met Minnie at Seoul National Medical Center”

Kyuhyun told Soon-Kyu who flashes a smile.

“Love at first sight?”

“Yes”

“Oh! I didn’t know that that thing still exist. So, what is your plan now that you already know about Ms. Lee’s pregnancy?”

Soon-Kyu asks.

“But before you answer me, may I know if that weird Captain Kim visits you awhile ago?”

“Yes. He showed me Minnie’s ultrasound”

“I see”

Kyuhyun clears before speaking.

“I’m going to marry her. You need to be there and you need to allow her to fly in Japan next week”

Kyuhyun told Soon-Kyu who shook her head sadly.

“I don’t know Kyu. I will let her travel if your twins’ condition will be better when I check her again next week”

“What really happen?”

Kyuhyun asks worriedly. Soon-Kyu sighs sadly.

“The twins’ heart rate is slow. Your Minnie is at high risk of miscarriage that’s why I strongly advise her to have a complete bed rest everyday”

“What happen? Why is my twins’ heart rate like that?”

“It’s because Ms. Lee is stressing herself emotionally, physically and mentally and she’s wearing girdle all the time just to hide her pregnancy and because of her condition. She’s anemic and that’s the reason why she’s having a hard time…super hard time because she’s carrying two babies in her tummy”

Soon-Kyu explains.

“She needs to take a lot of rest and care. It will be possible that one baby will die and the other one lives and if that happens, I’m sure that Ms. Lee will be having a hard time to accept it. On the other hand, there is also a possibility that the twins will die inside her womb if their heart rates will not change. You see. Multiple pregnancies are more risky than singleton and in her case, it’s more risky because she’s anemic”

Soon-Kyu informs Kyuhyun sadly. Tears start forming in Kyuhyun’s eyes upon hearing his friend. He feels so worried for Sungmin and their twins. He wants to see her, take care of her and watch over her to make sure that she will be fine.

“She needs you Kyu. Did you guys fought or something?”

“It’s a long story Sunny, but I just can’t show my face to her right now. I’ll just talk to you soon. Please do everything to save my twins”

Soon-Kyu can feel sadness on Kyuhyun’s voice.

“I will. I’ll let her fly in Japan once her condition is better and safer”

“Ok. Please don’t tell her everything that we just talked about”

“Thank you”

Kyuhyun hangs up. He sits on his bed and gets the copy of Sungmin’s ultrasound on top of the bedside table.

“Twins, I hope you can hear me even though I’m just talking to both of you through your mom’s ultrasound”

Kyuhyun’s tears start falling slowly from his eyes.

“I’m sorry my babies. Daddy can’t be with mommy for the meantime because I need to prepare everything for our wedding in Japan. Please be safe and healthy inside mommy’s womb. I’m really sad to find out about your condition and your mom’s condition. I’m worried. I know that your mommy needs me this time to be by her side, but I just can’t show myself to her. Not now. Uncle Jongwoon will be the one who will watch over you and mommy and take care of you guys for the meantime”

Kyuhyun wipes his tears.

“Don’t worry because we’re all going to be together soon. We’re going to be a complete and happy family. Both of you will have a mom and a dad. I’m really happy to know that you’re both sleeping in mommy’s womb. Stay there and behave. Promise that both of you will live and will be healthy until mommy finally gives birth to both of you. Don’t ever leave us because we’re going to be sad. Daddy is really excited to be with you and mommy soon, so please be healthy”

Kyuhyun slowly runs his fingers on the pictures.

“I wonder what your gender is. But I bet you guys will be boys just like your mommy’s cousins. They are also twins and they are boys. Cho Kibum and Cho Sandeul. That will be very lovely names. Kyuhyun smiles and kisses his twins through the pictures. He puts it inside his backpack and continue packing his things.

“Jongwoonie…”

Jongwoon stops packing his things when he heard Sungmin’s voice. He quickly raises his head and looks at his best friend who is standing at the doorway while holding her tummy.

“Why are you here? I told you to sleep now and don’t ever get off of your bed”

Jongwoon told Sungmin as he walks towards her.

“I can’t sleep”

Sungmin told Jongwoon while rubbing her tummy gently.

“Why? Is there something wrong? Are you hurt?”

Jongwoon asks worriedly. Sungmin nods like a kid.

“I’m having cramps and my back is aching. My tummy is so heavy. It’s hard to carry the twins inside my tummy”

Sungmin told Jongwoon.

“Do you want to sleep with me?”

Jongwoon asks.

“Can I?”

Sungmin asks, flashing her puppy eyes. Jongwoon nods his head.

“Of course”

Jongwoon answers. He carries Sungmin like a bride.

“Aigoo! You’re so heavy”

Jongwoon told Sungmin as he slowly walks towards his bed, carrying Sungmin carefully. Jongwoon has a hard time because his best friend is really heavy because she’s big and her tummy is big as well. Jongwoon carefully puts down Sungmin on his bed.

“I’m sorry Jongwoonie”

“It’s ok”

Jongwoon places pillows on Sungmin’s back and under her knees to make her feel comfortable.

“Do you want me to help you pack your things?”

Sungmin asks while staring at Jongwoon’s luggage and clothes that are scattered on the bed and on the floor.

“No need. I can do it. You don’t need to stress yourself. I’ll just continue later”

Jongwoon told Sungmin. He closes his luggage and puts it at corner and starts picking his clothes and throws it all on the couch before joining Sungmin on his bed.

“Did you already drink your vitamins and your milk?”

Jongwoon asks while carefully massaging Sungmin’s legs. Sungmin nods at Jongwoon.

“Jongwoonie…”

Jongwoon looks at Sungmin. He was shock when tears fall down from his best friend’s eyes.

“Baby, don’t cry”

Jongwoon moves closer to Sungmin who hugs him tight.

“Why?”

“I’m scared”

“Of?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin starts sobbing as she buries her face on Jongwoon’s chest. Jongwoon starts rubbing Sungmin’s back, trying to stop her from crying because it will be bad for her condition.

“I don’t know what will happen now. I’m scared. I don’t know how I’m going to raise the twins without their father. I wish that Kyu is here with me, taking care of me and watching over me. Jongwoonie, I need him so badly, but I can never have him because he loves someone else and not me. I don’t know what will happen to me and to my twins. It’s so hard and painful”

Sungmin told her best friend. Jongwoon cups Sungmin’s beautiful face.

“Shhhh”

Jongwoon wipes his best friend’s tears away.

“I’m here. No need to be scared. Your Captain Jongwoonie will never abandon you. If you’re weak then you can get some strength from me”

Jongwoon holds Sungmin’s hands.

“Remember what we use to tell each other whenever we feel sad, upset and whenever we’re having problems?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin nods

“Never let go of each other’s hand”

Sungmin told Jongwoon as she holds on to his hands tightly.

“I’m not going to let go of you baby, so stop crying and don’t be afraid. I’ll make sure that you’re going to be fine as well as the twins”

Jongwoon gently caressed Sungmin’s cheek and smiles at her.

“Stop crying now and don’t be sad anymore because I promise you that everything will be alright”

Sungmin nods

“Smile now baby”

Jongwoon starts making funny faces, making Sungmin laugh.

“Jongwoonie…”

Sungmin kisses Jongwoon’s cheek

“Yuck!”

Jongwoon pouts and wipes his cheek.

“You’re really cute when you’re already pissed off”

Sungmin happily told Jongwoon while pinching his cheek.

“Yeah right”

Jongwoon gently brushes his nose from hers.

“Just go to sleep now crybaby, naughty and hardheaded baby bunny”

Jongwoon told Sungmin before flicking her forehead softly. Sungmin carefully lay down on the bed.

“Sing now, so I can already fall asleep”

“Brat ”

“ you ”

Sungmin and Jongwoon smile at each other. Jongwoon lay down beside his best friend and hugs her.

“Jongwoonie…”

“Hmmm?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin hugs Jongwoon and buries her beautiful face on his chest. She can smell Jongwoon’s lovely scent.

“Key and Deullie will be fine right?”

Sungmin asks.

“Key? Deullie?”

Jongwoon asks while staring at Sungmin blankly. Sungmin nods as she slowly closes her eyes.

“That’s my twins’ nickname. Awhile ago when I was waiting for you to arrive, I keep myself busy by thinking of good names for my twins. After thinking, I finally decided that my twins will be Lee Kibum and Lee Sandeul. Key and Deullie for short”

“Not bad at all. But how sure are you that they are boys?”

“I can feel it. I know that they are boys”

“And how sure are you that they will carry your surname”

Sungmin opens her eyes and looks at Jongwoon curiously.

“Huh?”

Sungmin asks confusedly. Jongwoon laughs.

“Will it be nice if their surname is Cho and not Lee?”

Jongwoon teases Sungmin

“I hope so, but that was very impossible”

“Who knows, right?”

Jongwoon asks. Sungmin sighs sadly and buries her beautiful face back on Jongwoon’s chest.

“Just sing now. I want to sleep now and take a rest”

Sungmin told Jongwoon, feeling sad. She slowly closes her eyes when she heard Jongwoon’s voice, singing a sweet lullaby for her. Sungmin holds her tummy while thinking about Kyuhyun. She really wishes that Kyuhyun will be by her side someday and she’s still hoping that one day, they will become a happy and complete family. Hot tears start falling slowly from Sungmin’s eyes as she thinks about Kyuhyun and how she will raise her twins without him by her side. Tears keep on falling from her eyes until she finally falls asleep. Jongwoon looks at Sungmin when he realizes that his best friend is already sleeping peacefully.

“Don’t cry”

Jongwoon whispers as he wipes the tears that fall at the corner of Sungmin’s eyes.

“I told you that everything will be alright”

Jongwoon holds Sungmin’s tummy and carefully rubs it.

“You, Key and Deullie will be with Kyu soon. Just wait baby. You will be a complete and happy family soon. Just wait for three more weeks and it will finally happen”

Jongwoon happily whispers.

“Key, Deullie…you will be with daddy soon. Please be healthy and safe, so mommy can fly in Japan for her wedding to your daddy Kyu. Behave”

Jongwoon softly kisses Sungmin’s tummy.

“Good night twins. Sleep tight. Uncle Jongwoon loves both of you”

Jongwoon whispers to Sungmin’s tummy before looking at his best friend who is sleeping peacefully.

“Sleep tight and don’t think too much. You and the twins will be fine because Kyu loves you so much”

Jongwoon softly kisses Sungmin’s forehead. He carefully gets off of his bed, avoiding making noises that will wake his sleeping best friend.

“I’m happy that you will be marrying your Prince Charming soon. I suddenly envy you because you finally found the one. How about me? I wonder when will love arrive and give me and my Miss Flight attendant a chance to love each other. Maybe that thing will never happen anymore. She may not be Kyu’s fiancée, but someone already owns her. I just saw her engagement ring awhile ago. She’s always wearing it. I really feel sad whenever I’ll see that ring on her fingers. I wonder who owns Wookie’s heart. I wish it was me…but it’s not”

Jongwoon told his sleeping best friend. Jongwoon softly kisses Sungmin’s forehead before getting his luggage at the corner and continue packing his things for his flight tomorrow.

It was three in the morning when Jongwoon go out from his house. He walks towards the gate and stares at the tall handsome man standing outside. Jongwoon smiles at him and quickly opens the door to let him in.

“Sorry to disturb you”

“It’s ok Kyu”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun as he closes the gate.

“How’s Minnie?”

Kyuhyun asks, worrying about Sungmin’s condition.

“She’s sleeping again. Awhile ago she’s awake because she needs to pee and her back is aching. I gave her massage until she falls asleep. She’s having a hard time carrying two babies inside her tummy”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun.

“Let’s go inside. It’s cold here”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun who nods at him. Kyuhyun follows Jongwoon inside his house while dragging his luggage with him.

“Can I just leave my luggage here?”

Kyuhyun asks. Jongwoon nods at him. Kyuhyun puts his luggage beside the white couch.

“Follow me upstairs”

Jongwoon told Kyuhyun while smiling at him. Kyuhyun nods and follows Jongwoon upstairs. They quietly go inside Jongwoon’s room, avoiding making noise that will wake Sungmin. They carefully walk towards the bed. Jongwoon looks at Kyuhyun and he can tell that Kyuhyun is so worried about Sungmin just by staring at his facial expression. Jongwoon also notices the tears that are forming in Kyuhyun’s eyes as he stares at Sungmin with concern and love.

“We’re going to leave at five. Just go downstairs, arasso?”

Kyuhyun nods his head without looking at Jongwoon.

“Don’t wake her up or else we’re dead meat”

Jongwoon pats Kyuhyun’s shoulder and was about to walk away when he heard Kyuhyun calling his name.

“Jongwoon”

Jongwoon turns around to face Kyuhyun who is looking at him.

“Yes?”

Jongwoon asks. Kyuhyun stares at Jongwoon who is already wearing his pilot uniform. Kyuhyun smiles at him.

“Thank you”

Kyuhyun told Jongwoon, thanking him for allowing him to see Sungmin. Jongwoon nods at Kyuhyun while smiling. He salutes at Kyuhyun before leaving his room quietly. Kyuhyun focused his eyes back on Sungmin who is sleeping peacefully while holding her round tummy. He is thankful to Jongwoon for letting him go to his house to watch over Sungmin before they fly in New York on that day. Kyuhyun actually calls Jongwoon, disturbing his sleep just to ask if he can come over his house and be with Sungmin even just for a little hour. It’s good that Jongwoon agrees on it because Kyuhyun really wants to see Sungmin so badly. He wants to kiss her and touch her tummy and be with her and their twins even just for a little hour. Kyuhyun feels so happy seeing Sungmin and her big tummy, but at the same time, he also feels sad and worried because of Sungmin and the twins’ condition. Kyuhyun really wish that everything will be alright and Sungmin won’t have a hard time carrying their babies and of course he also wishes that their twins will be safe and healthy. Kyuhyun carefully sits beside Sungmin. He holds her hand and kisses it softly, avoiding waking her.

“I’m here baby. I’m going to watch over you before I fly in New York later”

Kyuhyun whispers as he starts brushing Sungmin’s hair gently.

“I’m going to talk to your mom and dad and formally ask their blessings for our marriage. Leave everything to me and don’t think too much. I’m sorry if I hurt you, but I really need to keep our wedding a secret to you. Don’t worry anymore baby. You just need to wait for three weeks and you’re finally going to be Mrs. Cho Kyuhyun…just three weeks baby. Let me prepare everything for three weeks and we’re going to be husband and wife. We’re going to be together happily with our Key and Deullie”

Kyuhyun smiles while staring at Sungmin’s beautiful and peaceful face.

“You see my baby bunny. I keep on thinking about good names for our twins while Jongwoon and Wookie are busy discussing some plans for our wedding in Emerald Beach at Okinawa Japan. Although we’re not yet sure about the gender of our twins, I can feel that they are boys. After thinking for about one hour and thirty minutes, I finally came up of good names for our twins. Cho Kibum and Cho Sandeul. Key and Deullie for short. What do you think? It was beautiful and very wonderful, right? I’m sure that you’re going to love their names as well”

Kyuhyun lay down on the bed and hugs Sungmin. He smiles brightly as he places his hand on Sungmin’s tummy, rubbing it gently.

“Wow! Your tummy is big as well as you. Seriously, you grow so big baby”

Kyuhyun laughs softly.

“But you’re still beautiful”

Kyuhyun smiles and softly kisses Sungmin’s lips before resting his head on her tummy. He was hoping to hear or maybe feel the twins moving, but he can’t hear and feel anything. Kyuhyun just sighs.

“Maybe next time I can already feel you Key and Deullie moving inside your mommy’s tummy”

Kyuhyun smiles as he gently rubs Sungmin’s tummy.

“I love you Key and Deullie. Daddy is here to watch over you and mommy before I fly in New York later with Uncle Jongwoon. I’m going to talk to your grandma and grandpa in New York and ask them their formal blessings, so I can already marry your mommy. We’re going to be together soon and we’re going to be a happy family. So, both of you need to be healthy and strong for the wedding. I really can’t wait to see both of you and I’m so excited to be a daddy. Wait for three more weeks, ok? I love you Key and Deullie. Sleep tight and be good boys. Don’t make it hard for mommy, so please behave all the time”

Kyuhyun told his twins. He softly kisses Sungmin’s tummy before lying comfortably beside the girl he loves most. Kyuhyun stares at Sungmin and softly caressed her cheek.

“Don’t worry too much because our twins will be fine. They are good kids and I know that they are listening to us. They will be fine. I’ll just see you again in Japan for our wedding. I’m sure that you’re going to be surprised and that’s really what I want”

Kyuhyun smiles.

“I miss you so much. It really hurts me when you broke up with me. Baby, I’m so sorry for hiding the truth from you. It’s just for the meantime, so please don’t be sad anymore. I know that hiding everything to you will only hurt you, but I’m just doing this because I want to give you a very wonderful, romantic and memorable wedding. I hope you will understand. Just bear with it for three weeks”

Kyuhyun wipes the tears that fall from Sungmin’s eyes. Sungmin is crying even in her sleep.

“You’re really having a hard time and it’s my fault. I’m so sorry baby. But don’t worry because we’re going to be together soon. We’re going to live happily together with our twins and we’re going to be a complete family. That’s a promise. Don’t cry anymore because I love you and you’re the only woman that I love”

Kyuhyun was about to kiss Sungmin, but she suddenly moves. Kyuhyun suddenly freeze when she heard Sungmin talking.

“Kyu”

Kyuhyun hears Sungmin’s gentle and sweet voice. She was calling him.

“Baby?”

Kyuhyun looks at Sungmin and waits for her to speak again and open her eyes.

“Are you awake?”

Kyuhyun asks nervously. He sighs in relief when he realizes that Sungmin just talk in her sleep. Sungmin suddenly wraps her arms around Kyuhyun who observes her for the meantime, making sure that Sungmin is really asleep.

“I’m here baby”

Kyuhyun whispers and wraps his arms around Sungmin, hugging her.

“Just sleep tight and take a lot of rest for you to be fine as well as our twins. I want you to always take care of yourself and when we’re finally married, I’m the one who will take care of you and our twins. I will love you more each day and with all my heart and soul. Sweet dreams and don’t worry anymore because we’re going to be together soon”

Kyuhyun gently brushes his nose from hers before kissing her wonderful lips softly.

“I love you so much my baby bunny. You’re my life and my everything. You’re the girl that I’m going to marry and the girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with. I love you Minnie. I love you so much”

Kyuhyun smiles and kisses her lips again. Kyuhyun embraces Sungmin in his arms, holding her closer to him as he softly hums a beautiful melody. He was enjoying his little time with Sungmin and their twins while waiting for the clock to strike at five in the morning.
