Ji Eun was thinking of what to do as she walked to school. She was lost and worried. Time was running out and she will have to leave Myung Soo. She didn’t want to. However, she couldn’t stay because she was not allowed to. She didn’t know what to do. Then, she felt someone hold her hand from behind. She was taken aback and looked beside her. It was Myung Soo.

“What are you think about? Me?” he said cheekily.

“Nothing much. But we are in school and people will notice.” Ji Eun said as she tried to release his grip.

“It’s okay. I want to let all of them know you are officially mine.” He said smugly and pulled her along.

Unknown to Ji Eun, Sung Gyu was watching them from behind. Joo Hae and gang bit their lips in frustration as they saw Myung Soo walk hand in hand with her.

“Aish. She is so dead!” Joo Hae stormed off angrily. Sung Gyu looked in her direction as she left with her gang.

“I guess something has to be done.” Sung Gyu mumbled to himself.

Lessons started and Ji Eun still couldn’t concentrate in class. She shook her head as she closed her eyes for a moment. Myung Soo had realised her abnormality since the start of the day.

“You okay?” he whispered to her.

Ji Eun opened her eyes and nodded her head. Picking up her pen, she tried to listen to the lesson.

“Ji Eun doesn’t seem alright at all. I guess I need to cheer her up a little.” L thought to himself.

“R…I…N…G~!” School ended with the most boring History lesson.

“Ji eun. Let’s go and have a date.” L said and smiled with a wink.

Ji Eun felt her heart skip a beat when she saw him wink. Blushing, she nodded her head. Leaving school, Myung Soo walked Ji Eun back to her house.

“I will pick you up at your house at 6pm later. Go get dressed up!” Myung Soo said to her.

“Where will we be going?” Ji Eun asked him with a smile.

“Secret.” He said and smirked.

“Fine.” Ji Eun pouted and replied him.

As Ji Eun entered her house, Myung Soo left and bumped into someone.

“Who are you?” he asked.

“You don’t need to know.” Sung Gyu told L.

Taking out his bottle of blue rose, he said, “Cancel the date you have with Ji Eun and go out with Joo Hae to the noraebang in Toronto. Ignore Ji Eun’s calls.”

As if possessed, Myung Soo did as he was told. He took out his phone, sent her a message and switched it off. He then headed to the noraebang in Toronto. Ji Eun was all dressed up and prepared. She looked into the mirror and flashed a sweet smile. Checking her hair for the last time, she grabbed her handbag and waited at her doorstep. Checking her watch, Ji Eun started to get worried. She was surprised that Myung Soo was late. She took out her phone to call him and saw his message.

It read:
Ji Eun. I have something to attend to. The date is cancelled. Sorry.

Ji Eun felt disappointed. She felt her heart sink a little. He cancelled the date but he did not call to inform. Now that she was all dolled up, he said that he cannot go out with her. She felt disappointed and upset.

“Omo! Kim Myung Soo?! He is really here! That guy didn’t lie to me?” Joo Hae covered in surprise and said.

Running forward, she linked arms with L. Myung Soo did not push her away as they walked into the noraebang. Sung Gyu took a quick snap of the two and left. He smiled at the sight of his successful plan. He then headed back to Ji Eun’s apartment. Ji Eun heard the doorbell and ran to the door. She did not check who was it as she assumed it was L.

“Myung Soo?” Ji Eun called out to him. Then, she realised it was Sung Gyu.

“Oh. Sorry. Haku- I mean Sung Gyu. I thought it was…”

Sung Gyu still smiled and waved at her, hiding his displeasure. Inviting him in, Ji Eun got him a cup of water. The two sat down on the couch.

“Why are you here?” Ji Eun asked.

“It was just that I saw your boyfriend going out with another girl I thought that you should know…” Sung Gyu said as he showed Ji Eun the photo he took.

“This cannot be. No. He said he would bring me out on a date but he cancelled it to go out with her? Maybe there was some misunderstanding… Maybe he was forced to…Maybe…” Ji Eun denied as she stared in disbelief.

“Maybe he was two-timing you.” Sung Gyu pointed out clearly.

“It cannot be. I believe him, hakuun. He wouldn’t cheat on me.” Ji Eun said firmly although her heart felt confused.

“Okay. I won’t say further. I just want you to be careful and not get hurt… After all, we are best friends.” He continued.

Ji Eun nodded her head as she sent Sung Gyu out. Sitting on the couch, Ji Eun felt uneasy. “Is he really two-timing me? If not… why will he go out with her when he promised to go out with me? I don’t know. I am so confused. Myung soo, why are you not picking up my call?” Ji Eun put her phone down as she panicked.

Ji Eun could not contact Myung soo at all so she decided to ask him personally tomorrow. Reaching school, Ji eun spotted L. She went forward and interrogated him.

“Myung Soo. Did you leave me to go out with Joo Hae yesterday?!” Ji Eun asked him.

Myung Soo was taken aback at her words. The spell was over so he couldn’t remember anything. From the date he was supposed to have with Ji Eun to the date he went on with Joo Hae, it was completely wiped out from his memory.

“Ji Eun-ah, what are you talking about?” Myung Soo asked with furrowed eyebrows.

“Answer me. Where were you yesterday?” she asked angrily.

“I was alone at home.” he replied.

“You liar. Haku-Sung Gyu saw you with Joo Hae. He has the photo too!” Ji Eun replied, disappointed with Myung Soo. The thought of forgiving him crossed her mind if he admitted and apologised sincerely. Denial was the worst answer Ji Eun expected to come from L. She walked off with tears b in her eyes. Myung Soo was lost and confused by the sudden claim. “Something is not right” he thought to himself.
