Mark IV
GuardianThe next morning I decided to give Rosie a call to see how she was doing.
Rosé: Hello?
Mark: Rosie! It's Mark, how are you?
Rosé: Mark! I'm okay, how about yourself?
Mark: Not too bad, I heard you were having some trouble with Bobby.
Rosé: Yeah, he came round last night and wouldn't leave. But Jean and Alex sorted it out, he left shortly after they showed up. It's nice to have some muscle around!
She giggles over the phone. Is she trying to play it off like it's no big deal?
Mark: This isn't some simple misunderstanding. The guy is nuts, you should be careful. I can go speak to him if you want?
Rosé: No, no, it's fine, he's harmless.
Mark: They're all harmless, until it escalates.
Rosé: Don't worry so much Mark!
Mark: Look, we made a promise to your sister. If anything happens to you, how am I to face your family?
Rosé: Nothing wil happen, have some faith!
Mark: I have faith, faith in myself, faith that if I send him back to Australia, the problem will be resolved.
Rosé: Maybe, maybe not, let's just leave it be for now?
I sigh.
Rosé: Don't be like that, how about dinner tomorrow night? We can catch up, I'll bring the members.
Mark: Alright, sounds good, let me know when you decide on a time and place. I'm flexible this week.
Rosé: Great! I'll call you tonight! Bye!
Mark: Have a nice day Rosie.
With that I hang up the phone. Rosie is too timid to handle this situation, I will need to step in sooner or later, I just hope I can do it cleanly. Maybe just threaten him, I don't think I'll need to resort to violence, but if it's necessary, I'll do what I have to. Suddenly there's a knock at my door, followed by singing.
Alex: 'Knock knock knock knock knock on my door, knock knock knock knock knock!"
The door opens and Alex pokes his head in. I glare at him.
Alex: Hey bro, any plans today?
Mark: Nope. And what the hell was that?
Alex: What was what?
Mark: Your singing...
Alex: Oh! It's a Twice song, called Knock Knock!
Mark: I could have guessed it was called Knock Knock...
Alex: I thought you were going to listen to their songs to familiarise yourself.
Mark: Maybe later, are they all that repetitive?
Alex: Some, not all, but they're good tracks, very catchy!
Mark: That's what I'm afraid of...but anyways, are you free the morrow night?
Alex: Tomorrow? Yeah, why?
Mark: We're meeting Blackpink for dinner.
Alex: All of them? Is Jisoo going too?
Alex, he knows his idols. He's been a Kpop fan ever since BoA debuted, he's a fan of so many idols, I don't think he can ever choose a favourite.
Mark: Jisoo? Yeah, I assume so. You like her as well?
Alex: Of course!
Mark: Just how many bloody idols do you actually like?
Alex: Oh, I honest
