Hindi nagsasawa si Lily na pakinggan ang favourite song niya na iyon. Isang ato lamang kasi ang naiisip niya kapag naririnig ito. Si Alexander.

Hanggang ngayon ay may hung-over pa siya sa nangyari noong isang araw. Buong araw niya itong kasama at tinulungan pa siya nitong maayos ang problema niya kay Roy. He is indeed an angel sent from above.

Sa sandaling panahon na kasama niya ito ay natuklasan niya ang mga magagandang katngian nito bilang isang simpleng tao.

She discovered that he’s not a typical celebrity who has a lot of confidence because he knows he has the guts and the fame.

Alexander knows how to interact with different people. He is not afraid of telling what’s on his mind but he is very sensitive of other people’s feelings.

Yes, he has the looks, the fame and the charm that could melt every woman’s heart. But only few know how wonderful and down to earth person he is.

She really likes it when he cracks a joke. He never fails to make her laugh with those crazy punch lines.
Ah, she really loves this guy and she will always do.

“I try to hide and so that no one knows. But I guess it shows when you look into my eyes…”

Natigil ang pagkanta niya dahil sa pag-ring ng cellphone niya. “Istorbo,”sambit niya.

Kinuha niya ang CP at tinignan kung sino ang tumatawag. Unknown number.

“Hello?,” bungad niya sa kabilang linya.

“Hello, Lily-ah!”

“Xander oppa?”

“Yeah, it’s me.”

She can sensed from his voice that he’s smiling or grinning perhaps. Her heart beats thrice as it’s normal when she heard his voice.

“Oppa, how did you get my number?”

“Uhm… I just got it from a source. Ah, it doesn’t really matter, you know. And I guess you won’t mind.”

What the hell is he saying? Of course, she does mind!

“And by the way, I just called to invite you to go to one of our guestings on ASAP Party. That’s one of the best variety shows here in the Philippines right?”

“Uhm… Yeah…”

“So, what d’ya think?”

She paused. Paano ba siya makakatanggi sa isang once in a lifetime na invitation na iyon?

“Sure, oppa. No problem.”

“Alright! See you then…”

Then he hanged up.

It was Lily’s first time to watch a variety show live. Hindi naman kasi siya mahilig sa mga gano’ng bagay. Pero iba ngayon sapagkat si Alexander mismo ang nag-imbita sa kanya. Mabuti na lamang at lingo nang araw na iyon kaya hindi na niya kailangan pang lumiban sa trabaho.

Medyo nahuli siya ng dating sapagkat natagalan na naman siya sa harap ng salamin. Ewan ba niya, kung bakit kasi umatake na naman ang pagiging vein niya. Hayan tuloy, nasa dulo siya ngayon ng pila sa labas ng studio ng ASAP Party. At mahigit isang oras na siyang nakapila doon ngunit hindi pa rin sila nakakapasok. Kalahating oras na lamang at mag-uumpisa na ang show pero naroon pa rin sila at naghihintay.

Malapit na siyang maubusan ng pasensya.

“Excuse me, ma’am. Are you Miss Lily?”

Naagaw ang atensyon niya ng isang babae na isa yata sa mga staff ng show base na rin sa suot nitong I.D.

“Yes, ako nga po yun,” sagot niya.

“Tara na po sa loob, ma’am Lily. Nakareserve na po ang upuan niyo sa loob,” nakangiting turan nito sa kanya.

“Nakareserve? Pero hindi naman ako nagpareserve,” kontra niya rito.

“Pero nasa guest lists po ang pangalan niyo.”

“Guest lists?,” takang tanong pa rin niya.

“Opo. Kaya pumasok na kayo sa loob.”

Nagtataka man ay sumunod na siya rito. Mahirap na, baka magbago pa ito ng isip.

Ngunit hindi siya nito dinala sa mismong studio kundi sa backstage kung san naroon ang U-KISS.

“Lily-ah! You’re here!”

Natanggal lahat ng pagod niya sa pagpila nang makita niya ito. She smiled at him.

“I’m glad you came,” Alexander said. “I thought you’re gonna miss one of my best performances ever,” he grinned.

Natutuwa siya sa pagyayabang nito sa kanya. Pakiramdam tuloy niya ay super close na sila.

“Of course, I don’t want to miss it ‘coz I know you guys really worked hard to put up a good show,” she commented.

“Hey, you guys seemed very close now, eh?,” Soo Hyun interrupted them. And the other five came in.

“I heard that this two see each other very often. And it’s Lily who helped Xander hyung in buying a birthday present for Uncle,” Kevin said.

“Really?,” Eli asked with so much interest in his eyes.

“And I also learned that Xander hyung also helped Lily with her problem,” Kevin continued.

“What problem?,” Ki Seop asked curiously.

“Aishh! How did you know that, huh? So much for your nonsense talk. Why don’t you just practice our dance so that your performance would be perfect? I’m sure you don’t want to make any mistake on the stage,” Alexander said furiously.

“Yah! I don’t need to practice anymore. I know my performance is already perfect and I’m sure I would not commit any mistake since I have a good memory. But I think older people like you must---,” Dong Ho wasn’t able to finish his saying because Ki Beom gave him a shrill look.

“Okay, guys. Get ready now. You’ll be the next to perform.” Their manager came in.

Then all of them except for Xander left the room.

“Lily-ah, you can go now to the seat I reserved for you,” Xander said.

“For me?,” she mumbled.

“Yeah. So that you can watch us thoroughly near the stage.” He held her hands and guide her way out of the backstage.

“Hmm… I’m really expecting a lot from your performance. Make sure that all of your fans, especially me, would really enjoy your show.”

He smirked.

Ano bang sinasabi niya? Siyempre, siguradong titilian at pagkakaguluhan ang performance ng mga ito.

“Wanna bet? Hmm… Okay, let’s have a deal then. If everyone in the studio will enjoy our show, then I win. But if not, you win. Deal?”

“But what would be the consequence if you lose?”

“Ah, let’s deal with that later, ok? I have to go now ‘coz Hyung might be looking for me. Wish me luck Lily-ah.” Xander tapped her head. She looked at him and said, “Goodluck, oppa! U-KISS Fighting!”

He didn’t say anything. He just smiled and waived at her while walking towards his co-members.

Kaunting-kaunti na lamang ay mababasag na ang eardrums ni Lily sa lakas ng tilian ng mga fans. Sinasabi niya na nga ba.

Dapat ay hindi siya pumayag sa deal nila ni Alexander.

Alam naman niya in the first place na talo na siya sa deal na iyon. Pero ‘pag si Xander na ang nagsalita, hindi na siya nakakatanggi pa.

“Tsk… Naisahan ako’nun ah. Ang tanga ko talaga.”

Patuloy ang pagsisintimyento niya habang tumitingin sa mga fans na nasa paligid niya. Pero natigilan siya nang may makitang pamilyar na tao na kanina pa pabalik-balik sa dressing room at backstage ng studio..

“Si Jenna ‘yun ah,” bulong niya. Pero bakit naman mapupunta ang kaibigan sa bahaging iyon ng studio? Unless authorized siya na pumasok doon. Tinawag niya ito upang makausap ngunit mukhang hindi siya nito marinig dahil sa ingay ng mga fans sa paligid niya. At lalo pa itong lumakas nang tawagin na ang U-KISS para pinakaaabangang performance ng mga ito.

Ah, hibang talaga siya para pumayag sa pustahan nila ni Alexander.

“Bingeul, bingeul, bingeul, bingeul!!!”

Maging siya ay sumabay na rin sa pagkanta at pagsayaw gaya ng ibang fans. Nawala tuloy sa isip niya ang tangkang pagkausap sa kaibigan niya.

Hay, iba pa rin talaga ang feeling kapag napanood ang U-KISS na magperform live.

She felt like the world stopped from turning when Xander sang his part of the song.

“I just want you to know, ajikdo saranghajanha…”

She was watching him intently when their eyes met. It was like he sings only for her. Looking at those soulful eyes makes her feel she was being cast by some kind of spell.

“Naegen neo ppunirangeo jal algo itjanha…”

She really wished that moment would not come to an end.

U-KISS sang another song entitled Man Man Hani and the fans just got wild and crazy over those drop-dead gorgeous angels performing in front of them.

U-KISS really knocked it off. Kahit tapos na angkanta nila’y walang tigil pa rin ang hiyawan ng mga fans.

Zero feasibility talaga ang tsansa niya sa pustahan nila. In short, talo na siyang talaga.
