The first thing I did the next day was call Sunny to give her a summary of what happened.

“I’m glad he made it in time.”, she said when I finished.

“Wait, did you have something to do with that?”

“Yeah I knew you would need someone to be with you after the fight. I knew it would take a toll on you so I might’ve tipped off BAP’s hacker. I’m glad that this Youngjae guy is not only cute but capable”.

“Thanks, Sunny you’re the best. And oooh you think Youngjae is cute?”

“Wipe that look off your face.”, she grumbled

“You can’t even see me!”, I protested.

“I don’t need to. I already know you have the cheesiest grin on your face.” Well, she wasn’t wrong. I couldn’t help but laugh.

“If only you were here, I could work my magic and get you guys together.”

“I think I’ll be able to manage on my own.”

“I’m hurt you don’t believe in my wingwoman skills. Wait. On your own? Do you mean that you’re...?”

“I’m flying in next week to visit. Surprise!”

“No way! That’s awesome! How long will you be here?”

“I’m planning to be there for like 3 weeks. But not sure yet. Our dads said I could stay as long as I want.”

“This is great. You can meet everyone including Youngjae.”

“Honestly, I can’t wait. It’s been weird not having you around.”

“Aww you miss me?”

“Maybe a little. Anyway, I gotta go now. I’ll message you later.”

“Alright. See you soon, Sunny.”

That night Zelo and I went to Mato’s. It felt like it had been forever since I was there. Almost as soon as I walked in, Sunmi launched herself at me and wrapped me in a tight hug. I would have almost fell over if Zelo hadn’t been right behind me to help me regain my balance.

“Jenny! You’re here! Is everything ok now?”, Sunmi said as soon as she let go.

“Uh well me and Zelo are okay, but I don’t know about the others.”, I glanced nervously at the other BAP members gathered at the other side of the room. Yongguk detached himself from the group and walked over to us. Sunmi squeezed my hand reassuringly before heading over to the bar.

“Hey, Yongguk.”, I said trying not to sound nervous.

“Hey, Jenny. Listen I just wanted to say please take care of Zelo. It’s nice to see him finally happy.”

“I’ll try my best, Yongguk. And also thank you for giving him a second family.” Yongguk flashed me a gummy smile before walking over to join Himchan for a game of cards. I walked over to Sunmi.

“That was probably one of the scariest moments of my life.”, I said collapsing into the seat next to her. Sunmi laughed.

“Yongguk seems scary but he’s really just a softie.”

“I thought he might hate me for hurting Zelo.” At that moment, Youngjae sat himself in the chair next to me.

“Nah Yongguk wouldn’t hate you. He understood why you did it and besides you chose to stay for Zelo in the end.”

“I couldn’t help but worry anyway.”

“Yeah I’m glad your friend managed to send me that anonymous tip.She must be pretty skilled.”, he said with a hint of admiration in his voice.

“Zelo told you about Sunny? And yeah she’s the best hacker I know.”

“Sunny? That’s a cute name. And best hacker you know? Then what am I?”

“Maybe second best?”, I teased. Sunmi laughed.

“You’re hurting his pride as Korea’s best hacker.”

“Oh really? You’re Korea’s best? Well, I guess when she visits next week we’ll see who’s the best.”

“Wait. She’s coming to Korea? Next week?”

“Jenny! Why didn’t you say something sooner? We should all hang out.” They both said at the same time.

“One at a time. Yes Sunny’s coming to Korea next week to visit. I haven’t had the chance to bring her visit up until now. And yes we should all hang out. She’s looking forward to meeting everyone.”

“This is awesome! There’s so much to do in Seoul. Should we go to Hongdae? How about bowling? Does she like bowling?”

“Oh boy she’s on a roll. I’ll take my leave now. But keep me updated. I’m looking forward to meeting her.”, Youngjae said standing up to leave.

“Hongdae sound like fun. I haven’t been there yet. And bowling would be ok too. She likes it well enough, I guess. But listen, I think she and Youngjae would be a cute couple.”, I whispered the last part to her after I made sure Youngjae was out of earshot.

“Really? Are you going to play matchmaker?”

“More like I’ll give them opportunities to interact and leave it up to them what they want to do.” Sunmi nodded.

“That sounds solid. Oh why don’t we invite them to the fireworks festival that’s happening in two weeks? I can go with Daehyun, you can go with Zelo and she can go with Youngjae. We can walk around together and split up later.”

“That sounds good. But shouldn’t we invite Yongguk, Jongup and Himchan too?”

“I brought it up earlier but they’re all busy that day. Yongguk is going to see his family. Himchan is going on a blind date. Jongup is playing World of Warcraft with some people online.”

“Going to see his family? Isn’t he worried that they might be targeted?”

“His whole family actually has ties to the mafia. So they can take care of themselves.”

Sunmi and I spent the rest of the time catching up and finding things we could do once Sunny got here.

On the ride home, I told Zelo about all the ideas Sunmi and I had.

“Wow, that’s a lot of stuff to do. Won’t she want to relax a little?”

“She says she’ll be here indefinitely so we can spread everything out.”

“Is she staying with us?”

“No she said she’ll be in a hotel nearby but she’ll probably be over a lot. That is if you don’t mind?”

“No I don’t mind. You’re cute when you’re excited.” I could feel my cheeks turning pink.

“But that means that I won’t have you all to myself anymore.”, he said with a pout. He’s so cute.

“If it makes you feel any better, Sunny was pretty good with giving me some space whenever I had a boyfriend.”

“You mean there were other boyfriends?”

“Well, yeah. I mean they weren’t anything too serious but I have a few exes. You do too right?”

“You’re actually my first girlfriend.”, he admitted.

“Oh.” I didn’t know what to say. A part of me was actually really happy to be his first girlfriend.

“Yeah so I was thinking how about going on our first date tomorrow night?”

“That sounds great. What do you want to do?”

“I was thinking we could catch a movie. And then maybe dinner?”

“That sounds good. How about you pick the movie and I pick what we eat? Deal?”

“Deal.” I felt little butterflies in my stomach for the rest of the ride. Zelo and I talked a little after that, but mostly there was a comfortable silence. I kept wondering what I should wear and what I should do to my hair. I wanted everything to be perfect.
