Chapter Twenty Four
My shift’s done and Sehun didn’t even send me a message nor dropped by the café. It’s been days already and he’s still nowhere to be found. I can’t even see the other Death Gods lurking around. I shuffle my thing inside my bag to check on my phone just in case he already messaged me.
A small sigh escaped my lips seeing nothing.
Where is he?
After I change into my casual. I walk out of the café to look around and I decided to wait for a few minutes maybe he’s just late.
I settle down the bench outside and my co-worker who is going to throw the garbage exchanges look. “Oh, Ha Eun. What are you still doing here? Why don’t you wait inside? It’s cold out here.”
That’s true. I can wait inside instead, but I want to see him coming so I could confront him before he could even say a word. But I’ve been waiting for almost an hour already. “I was waiting for someone, but I guess he will not come. I’ll be going now.”
I start walking back to the bus station. Is he upset with me? But we were okay. That amusement park date. Was that the reason? Or…did he leave without telling me?
I shake my the thoughts off my head and looks up when a bus finally arrives and steps inside scanning my transportation card and settles down an empty seat just beside the window and looks outside absentmindedly. I hate him. Did he leave already? Did he…leave me already without even saying good bye?
There’s suddenly an unpleasant feeling inside my chest and I suddenly find it hard to breathe.
Checking my phone again for the umpteenth time, I see no message from Sehun.

I step out of the bus and starts walking back to my apartment and I notice someone standing close to where my apartment building is, leaning against the wall with his hands stuffed inside his pockets.
My heart skips a beat and I suddenly start jogging towards the guy and as I get closer, his face becomes clearer. And to my dismay, it’s not Sehun again.
