Hyunjin rubbed the back of his neck and blushed.

Jinee: Let’s go out for lunch together.

Jisuk: Yeah.

Hyunjin: I don’t think we can go with the two of you...

Hyunjae: I have to meet Woohyun...

You were taken back by his cold voice. He has never been so cold to you. You grew scared of the Chihoon in front of you.

He stressed on the word enough as he looked at you in the eyes. He let go of your hands and placed his hands in his pockets.

Chihoon: For days now... For weeks... For months... Our topic of conversation has always been on that guy. What is he to you! AM I YOUR BOYFRIEND OR IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND!

He gradually became louder and angrier.

Hyunjae: You’re my boyfriend.

Chihoon: THEN WHY DO YOU KEEP ON MENTIONING HIM?! IT’S AS THOUGH HE’S ALL YOU HAVE!

Hyunjae: ... *Chihoon... oppa...*

Chihoon: Woohyun this... Woohyun that... I’ve had enough! Can’t you tell that I don’t like it when you talk about him! Can’t you tell that I’m jealous!

You couldn’t speak. It was as though Chihoon hit the correct button. You couldn’t process any of his words.

You were astonished, shocked and scared. He was like a different person now.

Hyunjae: *Was he right? Did I really not love him? Did I really fall for Woohyun?*

Memories from the night before came back to you, his harsh words, cold eyes... They hurt as though someone stabbed you with a dagger of some sort.

Somewhere within you, you knew that part of what he said was true. You knew that you were in wrong but thought that he shouldn’t have said such harsh words.

Chihoon told them what happened like how he told Hyunjin.

Jisuk: But do you really think that Hyunjae doesn’t love you?

Chihoon: I think that... the one she loves isn’t me... It’s him...

Chihoon: I wanted to protect her, I didn’t want anything or anyone to hurt her but it turns out... that... I was the one that has hurt her so badly with my jealousy and words...

Jisuk: She will understand.

Hyunjae: Where’s he...

Hyunjin: Can we call him noona?

The two of you sat down on a nearby bench and waited for Woohyun to arrive.
