Part 3 - Chapter 18
I Wanna Love18
Niel sat on the couch in Chanhee and Byunghun’s apartment; glazed eyes watching the television as Chanhee hummed to himself in the kitchen. Niel wasn’t really thinking about anything. He was sulking. After talking to Byunghun a few days before he thought he had convinced him to go back to Shinhwa that weekend, but today he had gotten a text to come over for dinner and they could “talk as a family”. He was less than impressed. It was Friday night. They should be going out.
Chanhee plonked onto the couch beside him; snuggling up to his shoulder, a wheedling look on his face. Niel looked down at him, displeased.
“Don’t be mad, ok?” Chanhee said in a pleading tone.
“Why would I be mad?” Niel pouted.
“Because you wanted to go out. And…” Chanhee cut himself off, biting his bottom lip. He looked away and jumped back up off the couch to scurry to the stove.
“And?” Niel asked, sensing a scheme in the works.
Chanhee pretended not to hear him.
“And!” Niel said loudly.

Changhyun climbed the stairs in the old building slowly, he was tired from a big week at work and was in no hurry to make it to the apartment. As he crested the stairs he froze, as quietly as possible he backed back down the steps to the nearest landing. When he heard voices approaching from above he began to climb once more.
Feng and her date passed him on the stairs, Changhyun winked as he passed them by. Feng turned bright red and hurried the other woman down the stairs without greeting him. He would about kissing in the hallway later. With the pair gone he moved to the apartment door and walked through without knocking.
“Hyung! I’m here!” He called through the apartment.
“Ok!” Came a reply from somewhere.
Changhyun shrugged, kicked off his shoes and wandered into the lounge. He was booting up the PlayStation when Youngjin emerged from his bedroom, freshly showered.
“Hey Changie. Ready to get obliterated?” Youngjin asked, settling on the floor beside his younger brother.
“Get real.” Changhyun retorted, handing the other Yoo a controller, “Loser pays for dinner.” He challenged.
“You’re on.”

Byunghun shut the front door quietly, hearing Niel’s voice from the living room.
“Why would I be mad?”
“Because you wanted to go out. And…” Chanhee cut himself off. Byunghun sighed and shook his head.
“And? … And!” Niel said loudly.
“And I got you a date.” Byunghun announced as he wandered into the apartment proper. Niel’s head snapped around to glare at him. Byunghun smiled in reply.
“A what?” Niel’s voice was irritated.
“A date, little brother, a date!” Byunghun sing-songed at him. Wandering across the room to kiss Chanhee hello and examine what he was cooking.
“I don’t want a date!” Niel cried, sounding like a toddler having a tantrum. Byunghun and Chanhee ignored him, occupied with touching hands and foreheads together mumbli
